Well what a wonderful stay.
First thing upon walking into the Villa, (after being picked up from the airport & a lovely greeting from the staff) we were struck by just how big the Villa is.
The photos really don't do it justice.
A huge dining & lounge area, fantastic kitchen & the bedrooms & bathrooms are so big & roomy.
And the pool...wow, it's also so huge & great for that early morning swim & to cool down after a day out & about in town.
Situated in North Seminyak I would not consider it remote by any stretch.
Easiest thing is to get Norman the Villa driver to take you into Seminyak or Kuta, but one day two of us did walk into Seminyak from the Villa & it was not a problem if you enjoy a walk.
Staff was friendly & great, Villa was tidy, beds were comfy & I felt like a king the whole time I was there.
Debbie goes out of her way to be of help & make your stay be the best it can be & Norman the driver is exceptional, a genuine nice guy.
If we wanted to go out for dinner or shopping Norman was there ready to go at any time.
Debbie organized lunches when requested & even organized some masseuses for the girls to have an in Villa hot rock massage.
Nothing was too much of a problem.
I would stay there again.

We had the most spectacular time at Zolina Villa. The Villa is amazing - we felt like we were in a palace - there were 6 of us and we all had our own space. The staff were so friendly and helpful - we had 2 birthdays while we were there and they even gave us birthday presents and cakes! We felt totally safe and totally indulged in our little paradise. Now only would we not hesitate to return - but we would also highly recommend this villa!

I stayed here for 12 days. The Villa was absolutely amazing. It was spotless and has 5 star facilities. The staff are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Debby, the manager, and her staff are so helpful. The breakfast every morning was lovely. The pool area is amazing. It is a great place to relax. I thought there would be mosquitos but we had no problems at all.
The driver was wonderful. You can't walk from here to Seminyak, which is a little isolating, but the driver was accommodating and waited for us where ever we went. It was good to see other parts of Bali anyway, not just the busy, central areas. There is 24 hour security, and with the exceptional driver and looking after teenagers, I felt very safe and secure. Our driver took us to Ubud, and booked us an elephant ride, and waited for us there. He took the kids white water rafting in Ubud another time, and waited for them. He drove us out to Nusa Dua and recommended a place for us to parasail and snorkel, which was great, and waited for us. When catching a taxi in the late evenings, I wrote out the entire address and instructions for taxi drivers, and we didn't have too many worries. It was all part of our adventure.
We had some birthdays while we were here and the staff went to a lot of trouble to celebrate, wrapping little gifts, and bringing little cakes out. It was so thoughtful.
The villa far exceeded my expectations and the service is unsurpassed.
Wifi was great, and all the facilities were top of the range.
If I were by myself, I would stay more central, but this was a really great retreat for a larger group. It is an incredibly beautiful place. I absolutely loved it. -

All services were top quality. The villa was great especially not having to share bathrooms. Clean, spacious & staff always willing to help but not under your feet. Location was quiet and the people mover made getting around so simple.The pool was a big hit at all hours. The staff were beyond the call of duty always with a big smile and ready to oblige.

Zolina villa is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The staff were absoloutely delightful and I am grateful for their wonderful hospitality. While I really loved the peaceful location I did feel isolated at times as the villa isn't in an area that you can easily go for a walk or shop. If you do choose to go for a walk as we did be mindful of the local dogs as they were quite threatening. Also be aware if you choose alternate transport to return to the villa, the map provided to us was little help with local Bemo and taxi drivers as there was not one instance they did not get lost. The villa pool was amazing! For me personally I'd prefer a more central location closer to shops and attractions particularly if i was to return with my children.

I stayed at Zolina Villa with a bunch of friends and from the moment we were picked up at the airport it was a fantastic experience. On arrival you recieve a welcome drink & cool towel which was wonderful, Debby the villa manager then shows you around the villa.
The villa is very comfortable and is kept immaculate. The pool is always kept clean and clear with fresh towels provided each day.
The service from Debby & all her staff were fantastic and they were always very helpful.
The only thing i would say to be careful about is the location, it is advertised that it is in Seminyak but from my experience it is closer to Kerobokan. The villa does provide you with a driver who is fantastic but it does cost 100,000Rup each way which can start to add up if you come in and out a number of times each day. From my experience it is too far to walk to shops or restaurants. -

I stayed at Zolina Villa in March 2013 with a group of friends. We found the villa to be beautiful and the staff so friendly and accomodating. On our arrival we were greeted with welcome drinks and a cold face face washer which was a welcome relief! Debby and all of her staff at the Villa were always so friendly and helpful with any requests. The housekeeping was fantastic and you would not have even known they were there.
Something the villa needs to be aware of and fix is the issues with all safes in all bedrooms. The safes in rooms were not fixed to anything and could be easily removed by anyone and they also did not work and we had to have a key to manually use safe. We informed Debby of this issue and we were informed to use a key for the safe, however the safe was still not fixed in cupboard and we had the extra worry of loosing a safe key.
I was disappointed with the location of the villa as it was difficult to get to shops and resturants within walking distance. We required transport to get anywhere! Patato Head, 15 minutes drive! -

We stayed at Zolina Villa in March 2013. We were 5 females celebrating my 40th birthday. We were greeted at the airport by our lovely driver Nyoman, he drove us to the villa and was extremely friendly. Once arriving at the villa, Debby the villa manager met us and gave us a quick tour of the villa. The staff at the villa were all so friendly and happy to help with any requests. Breakfast was cooked for us daily, although quite basic was more than sufficient. Debby also organised a surprise birthday cake for me which was enjoyed by all and extremely kind. We only stayed at the villa for 4 nights but enjoyed our stay thanks to the professional staff always in attendance.
The only negative for us was the villas location, definitely not in seminyak! Was very close to Kerobokan prison, hence I would say it is in Kerobokan. There are no restaurants in walking distance and nowhere to get supplies. Our only option was to get villa car to drive us at 100,000rupiah each way! On some occasions we got taxi back at half he price the villa charged for same distance! Taxis always got lost, however we eventually worked out to direct them to the prison and we knew the way from there.
Overall the villa is amazingly beautiful and well cared for. The staff are an absolute credit to the establishment. -

I stayed at Zolina Villa with my husband and two primary school aged children. The Villa's fenced pool was a highlight - being able to swim proper laps was fantastic! Location was convenient - a 10 minute drive to Seminyak's shopping and restaurants, but far enough away from it all to be very quiet, relaxing and private. You can negotiate the Villa's car to be at your disposal for trips in and around Seminyak. Zolina Villa was very well appointed and exemplifies an upper market Villa experience, the only small negative for us was that we did find the mattresses a little harder than we were used to. It is zoned well and could accommodate two families or four couples with ease. While dining in is an option (you will need to pay for the chef) the proximity to Seminyak's renowned restaurant scene meant that we ate out most nights. Villa Management (Jonathan and Lia) were attentive and knowledgeable and are able to customise your stay so that you can do as little or as much as you'd like. We plan to return next year with another family.

First of all I will like to thank Jonathan and Lia for their hospitality.
My extended family of 10 were in Bali and had the pleasure of staying at Zolina Villa, Seminayak/Kuta for 3 nights. Away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist area, Zolina is nested in a quiet neighbourhood just 10-15 minutes by car from Seminyak shopping and fine restaurants.
Preparation for the trip was a breeze as we had advises from the owners and they are helpful in understanding our needs and find us decent deals. We had arranged transports and a BBQ dinner through them.
Reception at the airport, at the villa were smooth and without hassle. Both owners and the villa staff were there ready to receive us. The villa is more than adequate for large groups with 4 bedrooms (3 kings and 2 x double). The villa and the surrounding grounds are well maintained. The draw is the lap pool - perfect for kids to spend their time and long enough for adults to do laps. The rooms are spacious with individual connecting bathrooms plus tubs. Breakfast is complimentary and serve by the resident staff, of which you have choice of western or local flavors on the menu. The fresh coffee is a favourite (Joanthan, you got the perfect blend). Many thanks to Emil (Villa Manager) and staff. Special thanks to Nyoman, our transport guru who is so helpful and humble, driving us to Ubud and Kuta for a whole day (Terima Kasih Pak Nyoman!).

Fantastic place to stay, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast cooked in your villa were great. Having a private pool right outside your bedroom door was unbeatable.
The villa was a total retreat, it was very quiet and you didn't get any street noise.Surrounded by beautiful garden and we enjoyed the gazebo as well.

I recently stayed at Zolina with my partner and another couple, the villa was absolutely amazing and brand new (only a couple of months old). Each room was decked out in modern furniture, large bathroom with spa tub and shower, fully furnished kitchen and an amazing 25m lap pool. The gardens and pool decking were large and spacious and enjoyed sun all day long while also providing a Bale with shade for those not wanting too much sun. We stayed 5 nights at Zolina villa and were welcomed by the staff and treated like royalty. The staff made our trip so memorable, each day they provided a delicious fresh cooked american breakfast and also cooked up yummy lunch dishes and an amazing traditional Balinese farewell dinner. We had a driver who was more than accommodating with all our requests to different destinations for dinner and also a great tour guide around Ubud and Jimbaran Bay. Definitely stay at Zolina if you are after a relaxing, luxurious villa that is slightly off the beaten track and providing a tranquil experience and serenity but still close enough to get to town. We cannot fault the Villa at all and would definitely be returning soon. Plus the beds were absolutely devine!!!
