Villa Suara Ombak is nestled in the heart of the new trendy area of Jalan Petitenget in Seminyak, on Bali’s south-western coast just a short walk from the beach, 30 minutes from the international airport (depending on traffic) and a few minutes drive to the famous Ku De Ta and its glamorous nightlife. It is only 10 minutes from the west end of the Sunset Road, a speedy bypass route from the airport.
There are a number of simple warungs (eateries) within easy walking distance of Villa Suara Ombak and it is just up the street from the famous Living Room fine dining restaurant.
All along this coastline the waves are huge and the domain of the surfers. The expansive beach is a place where the local and expatriate communities gather every evening to enjoy Bali’s legendary sunsets and where guests may chance upon Balinese Hindu ceremonies involving offerings cast into the sea.
Seminyak and the neighbouring area of Petitenget boast a plethora of chic cocktail bars, exciting nightclubs, sumptuous spas, fashionable boutiques and famous restaurants including Ku De Ta, Nutmegs at Hu’u, La Lucciola, Sarong and Sardine.
Villa Suara Ombak is conveniently located close to all of the main shopping malls, Waterbom Park, and many other tourist attractions. The location offers easy access up to the mountains and rice terraces on Bali’s western slopes. It is just over one hour’s drive from the famous cultural and artistic town of Ubud, and just 10 minutes’ drive from the west end of the Sunset Road, gateway to the island.
The nearby ‘Nirwana Bali Golf Course’ was designed by Greg Norman, and voted the number one golf course in Asia. It is also situated near the dramatic, waved-lashed sea temple of Tanah Lot. For horse lovers, the ‘Umalas Equestrian Centre’ is just a few kilometres away.

Très belle villa, idéalement localisée. Décoration de très bon goût.Le personnel est très gentil, discrèt et efficace.
A deux pas la mer, des boutiques et parfait pied à terre pour découvrir le reste de l'ïle. -

"Amazing" était le mot de base de notre séjour,nous avons adoré
La villa spacieuse avec son séjour / salon / cuisine ouvert, sa piscine dans le jardin, ses chambres climatisées, ses salles de bains par chambre,la charmante Iluh toujours prête à nous donner des informations sur son île et à nous aider.
La proximité de la station de taxi, des restaurants, des boutiques, de la mer.
La beauté de l'île, avec ses nombreux temples, ses rizières, sa nourriture, et
le sourire des Balinais ;-)

Nous sommes partis à 7. Nous étions avec nos 3 enfants de 6à 17 ans, ainsi qu'avec les grands-parents. Tout le monde a doré l'endroit! c'est un petit coin de paradis sur terre. Cette location etait parfaite pour loger toute notre famille...spacieuse, et chaque chambre est indépendante pour respecter le rythme de chacun. la décoration est simple mais de bon gout...La literie est impeccable pour les dos fragiles... La villa est idéalement placée ; à proximité de la rue commerçante avec restaurants et animations diverses, mais un peu en retrait pour être tout à fait au calme. L'arrêt de taxi est au bout du chemin, ce qui est pratique pour visiter. L'acces à la plage est indirect mais très facile. Le personnel est adorable, discret mais aux petits soins pour nous...Bref, nous ne parlons que d'y revenir!

I've been to Bali with my spouse six times over the last few years, first staying in hotels (mostly the Conrad in Nusa Dua) and the last two times (January and June 2012) at Villa Suara Ombak.
On both occasions, we had friends with us.
In my book -and in my spouse's and friends'-, the villa is definitely the best of both worlds: it's minutes away from all the lively Seminyak spots, Ku De Ta, W resort, Sarong restaurant, the beaches; but at the same time it's in a peaceful, quiet, side street, and the high walls and garden shield it from the noise and bustle.
It's also very simply but tastefully designed and furnished in the Balinese style, while boasting all the required comforts -including a nice swimming.
The living room, with one side opening on the garden, is a great hangout spot.
I've already booked my next stay there, which says it all -it will be my third this year.
