Tokyo & USWonderful Experience
Left on 01/14/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Our two families (4 adults, a 13-year-old girl, and 2 ten-year old boys) had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Suku. We were enchanted with the decor and layout from the moment we stepped through the red carved wooden gate. From relaxing in the living area, to roughhousing in the pool, we enjoyed our time. The bedrooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were kind and thoughtful, willing to accommodate our needs. The gang (alley) where Villa Suku is located is a bit long, and the surroundings basically quiet, for such a lively area. A five-minute walk down to the end of the gang, and we could hail a taxi easily for the short ride to the beach, market, KuDeTa, etc., or walk to the shops on Seminyak Road.
We've already started recommending Villa Suku to our friends, so make your reservation soon! We'd love to go back. -

Away from the bustle of town, three friends and I found ourselves in a little paradise of our own. Close to all the action of Seminyak; shopping, bars and beaches it was the perfect retreat without actually leaving. Private luxurious ensuites, well designed communal swimming, dinning and sitting areas made for a truly 5 star experience.
Service is fantastic with all the professionalism of a hotel but with more of a 'local knowledge' guidance.
The perfect place for a family or group of holiday goers seeking comfort and style in the heart of Seminyak.
Thank you Villa Suku!! -

My first impression was: I did not deserve this! This is to good for me.
We travelled with our family (2 adults, 2 kids) and friends (2 adults, 1 kid) and we all had this once in a life time feeling. The villa is a real gem, the open outdoor living, dining and cooking area are perfect for this climate and very tasteful decorated. The outdoor areas have large ceiling ventilators and the house geckos help chasing the mosquitos in the evening. The four bedrooms all have there own bathroom with a big rain shower.
The bedrooms have airco which is very pleasant during the warm and humid nights. The service provided by the staff is very good and they made breakfast with a smile every morning. The villa is only a 10 minute walk from Ku De Ta beach or the main shopping street. I would not mind spending my next vacation here again!
The villa is situated at the end of a narrow street, what makes that you do not have any street noise but the roosters on the property next door start their day's very very early so if you wake up easily you should bring ear pluggs. -

SydneyA true gem of a villa

The first thing that comes to mind when I now think of Villa Suku is the feeling of utter calm. Once you close the doors to the villa you also shut out all the hustle and bustle of Seminyak The layout of the villa makes it feel very home-like, rather than some of those more impersonal villas you find.
The staff are absolutely gorgeous. Nothing was ever a problem and they even arranged a massage for me with a lovely girl who came to the villa and cooked a delicious homemade meal for us.
One thing my husband and I really noticed were all the unexpected personal touches and the way the villa has been decorated with one-off pieces and local artwork.
I would highly recommend Villa Suku (and have recommended it to all my friends)to anyone who is looking for more than the run-of-the-mill package - for a special experience.
We loved our stay so much we've already booked in for next year! -

July was my 4th time to bali and villa suku was by far the best accomodation I have stayed at. I stayed here with 7 other people and we we're all extremely pleased. The staff were friendly, prepared yummy breakfast every morning for us and cleaned daily. Great location, 5 minute walk to seminyak square and various shops as well as complete privacy from other surrounding villas. Couldn't say a bad word about villa suku. Will definitely be staying there again!!!

I recently stayed at Villa Suku with a group of my friends and the villa was amazing. The service provided and location was absolutely perfect. The staff were very kind and helpful for my friends and I with any thing we needed. The rooms are very clean and have plenty of space with televisions, and bathrooms in each. The garden area and pool is very peaceful and enjoyable to entertain at night. It was the first time I had ever been to Bali and staying at Villa Suku made it very memorable. I definalty recommend the villa and sure will be back next time!

Left on 09/24/2012 for a stay in September 2012
We shared the villa with another family, very good friends of ours. There were 4 adults and 4 children in total. This was our first trip to Bali and we had a fabulous time and the fun began the moment we stepped in the villa. Villa was beautifully designed with tropical garden, tidy reasonable size pool and the whole thing was very tastefully done. Villa was extremely tidy and bathrooms were a highlight with lots of natural light. Main bedroom ensuite in particular was special with an open design.
The support staff lead by Iluh were superb. The drivers Villa recommends; team lead by Johnny were extremely helpful. They planned our trips and just worked around our whims and fancies.
Anita, owner of the villa deserves special mention. One of the children was Gluten intolerant and anita made lot of effort to put together list eateries we that serve Gluten free diet. She accomodated every request we had including late check out, with out any extra payment.
In Bali we did water sports, visited markets, temples and did amazing submarine ride. People are really friendly and honest. Overall Bali experience had been just superb and the beautifl Villa, its helpful owner and good support staff made it all even more special. I strongly recommend this villa and Bali is now one of our favourite holiday destinations and Villa Suku is the place we will be staying in. -

I stayed in Villa Suku with five other girls for a week and it was absolutely perfect! In a great location, hidden done a quite street away from the liveliness of Seminyak square yet extremely close by to all the restaurants, cafes and shops, the villa was just perfect for our needs! The staff were extremely friendly and reliable, preparing breakfast for us each morning as well as keeping the place impeccable. The pool, garden and outside living space were extremely peaceful during the day as well as perfect for entertaining at night! The bedrooms themselves were all beautifully decorated, facilitated with their own Television and ensuite. The villa was more then we could ask for!! We had an absolutely great holiday, and a fantastic stay at Villa Suku. I highly recommend this villa for other tourists over a hotel. We all loved it! And we definitely will be staying there next time we travel to Bali!

We stayed in villa Suku with 3 other couples and it was great, we all had our own space when we wanted it but then it has a great living area that we all ate dinner at or sat around the pool have a drink in the (late) afternoon.
The staff were great, because I had never stayed in Seminyak before I had a lot of questions as to where to eat and explore.
One couple had a small child and the staff were more than happy to babysit when we wanted to go out for a meal.
I got a really since of the staff going above and behond what they had to do to make sure we had an amazing stay.
The villa is in the best location, tucked away in a quite corner but so close to the beautiful streets of Seminyak and the beach.
I think this must be one of the only villa in the area with a rice paddy next to it.
Love it, defiantly staying at Villa Suku next year -

SydneyA beautiful villa tastefully done in a quiet location but close
Left on 08/28/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We have been to Bali several times previously and have always rented villas. Villa Suku has just been completely renovated we are lucky to be amongst the first people to have booked a stay there.
The great thing about this Villa is that it is at the end of a road and is very quiet, but yet is only a very sort distance to shops and restaurants in Seminyak . It is a beautiful villa, tastefully done with beautiful gardens and pool . We only required three of the rooms and each room was well furnished .The outdoor spaces were excellent , with a huge open kitchen entertaining area. Even when the inevitable Bali rain arrived it did little to interrupt the peace and tranquility of Villa Suku such is its design .
The Suku staff were absolutely superb and could not have been more attentive. The nice thing about them is that you don't notice them even though they are there. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport and nothing was too much trouble for them .
The only down side on our stay was that we had not booked in for a longer stay , it was hard to leave the Villa and the cheerful staff. -

A group of my friends stayed at this amazing villa in Seminyak in august . As we were a group of girls we loved the privacy and secure location that the villa offered. A short walk to Jl Legian which is shopping heaven I think we hit the jackpot!!
Loved the pool and spent lots of time after getting back from dinner sitting around the villa, talking and listening to music. The garden at night is so peaceful. Did the usual day trips to Ubud and Tanah Lot but most of the girls were happy to stay close to the villa when they could(that is when not shopping).
Thanks to the girls , Iluh, Made and Wayan for looking after us and I would completely recommend this villa. It was good to have Nyoman around as he offered us great security and peace of mind

The ten days at Villa Suku was Brilliant. I love Bali, but have always found that I cannot escape the craziness that is asia. When you are sitting in Villa Suku, you could be in the middle of no where. It is quiet, tranquil and unbelievably relaxing. Then a short walk around the corner and you are in the middle of Seminyaks eating district.
There was 6 of us that stayed at the villa and we had more than enough room, there was even an empty bedroom that seemed to fill up with our shopping.
So happy I found this villa and can't believe how great the staff were with everything and anything we asked of them.

We stayed at Villa Suku for a week last month and had the time of our lives . Lots of room , great garden and pool and loved the location as we spent a lot of time going out and about eating . Eat St is really close by and has a great variety of food . Classy fitout made it a great holiday for all of us . We only used three of the bedrooms and it was a toss of the coin to decide which ones to use as they are all spacious and well appointed . Loved the girls who serviced the villa each day and could get really used to having breakfast prepared for us each day by Wayan and just sitting back in the sun by the pool , contemplating life . Then on with the day .
Plan to get back there soon !!
