This villa is amazing, the pool is spectacular, the garden is beautiful. Asih the house keeper is just so special, she felt just like family, always eager to hear about our daily adventures, and always had a big smile for us. We miss her already! This was the second villa of Susan's villas we stayed in on our 10 day holiday and I can't fault them, they are beautiful and clean and having a security guard outside the villa each night was so comforting and all of the staff are so caring, warm and just can't do enough for you. Our driver Rama was just the best, so many laughs and he taught us so much about the Balinese culture, and he was an awesome photographer. My sister and I have had the best holiday, thank you so much Susan, we can't wait to come back.

After several trips to Bali, we thought that we would stay in the Petitenget area and this proved to be an excellent choice. Villa Sarang is just a short stroll from Potato Head, Biku and Sarong restaurants, and a casual stroll down to the heart of "eat street" in Seminyak.
The villa is well appointed, modern and well-secured. The swimming pool is a good size and can easily accommodate several people.
The thing that made our stay even more enjoyable was the fabulous staff at Villa Sarang. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Susan was extremely flexible when we had flight changes and was able to accommodate us in another villa temporarily. Guest relations managers, Sindu and Padma were very efficient. Our housekeeper, Asih, was so bright and cheerful all of the time and made us fabulous breakfasts. Widodo, our security guard, was always there to welcome us back in the evenings with a smile. A massive thanks to our driver, Gusti, who drove us around endlessly and made himself available whenever needed. His knowledge of the island, great communication skills, and sense of humour made our trips so enjoyable. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Susan and the Villa Team to any prospective travellers to Bali. -

We were picked up by the driver, Yasa, at the airport and was greeted by the staff at the villa. They were all very nice and friendly. We had everything we needed including the food and the drinks we had ordered. The location was great for going to local bars and restaurants. It also had a great shop just at the end which was perfect for simple groceries. We had a guard outside at night which made us feel extra safe in the most fashionable district in Bali. Bars like Potatohead, W Hotel and Ku De Ta were all within walking distance which was perfect for us at night. Just an amazing experience!

We had a lovely stay in april 2013, despite some uncooperative weather. The villa is well-located, and just the right size for a family. I travelled with a 9 month old baby and my parents, who are in their 60s and 70s. Baby and I took a few days in the villa, while the driver Putu showed my parents around Bali - he had a great understanding of their needs and was extremely knowledgeable. Our housekeeper asih was lovely - always smiling and willing to offer an extra set of hands with baby.
We had a few minor hiccups with the baby cot and the water machine, but the Villa Managers, Asih and the handyman quickly actioned them.
Dinner in the villa was delicious - enough food for an army!
Two points of caution - First, the entry for the pool is a rather tall, slippery step and can be tricky for smaller kids and those with mobility issues. Second, there is no bathtub in the villa, which t me seems odd since this property is otherwise well-situated to cater for a family.
This is by no means a "luxe" villa, but is excellent value for the price and is run by a very professional team. Susan, you run an extremely tight ship, and we hope to try another of your properties in the near future! -

Beautiful villa, great location minutes walk from fantastic bars on the beachfront, excellent staff, driver, manager, all very polite and attentive to detail. Security staff always on deck which was a great feature. The private pool was fantastic. Very close to restaurants
Overall i cannot fault it. I'd highly recommend.

Beautiful villa, very clean, excellent staff, housekeeper, chef, driver, manager, all very attentive and excellent attention to detail. Security staff always on deck. The private pool and massage girls were really a treat.anything we needed was never a problem. Very close to restaurants, stores etc.Highly recommend.

What a fantastic villa. Villa Sarang lived up to all expectations outlined on the website, including the enticing pictures of the pool and rooms.
The service from the airport pick up to the drop off was superb. The driver was very knowledgeable about the area and had made pre-arrival itineraries for us to choose from based on the length of our stay. He took us where ever we wished to visit - choosing great locations at affordable prices. The service upon our arrival was also high in quality, the manageress and maid greeting us on arrival and explaining everything about the villa and it's local amenities. They had stocked our fridge with essentials and left a mobile phone for us to contact the staff.
As already mentioned, the pool was great, the centre piece of an idyllic setting, surrounded by local flora on one side and the three bedrooms plus one outdoor kitchen area on the other. The whole place oozed relaxation and the opportunity to unwind.
There were numerous restaurants and bars located close by which were frequently visited by us. The cuisine on offer was excellent - either local or international - as were the selection of bars on the beach front (KuDeTa to name just one awesome establishment).
The only negative, and it took me a while to consider this, was that the temple we visited took us quite a while to arrive at and then return back to the Villa. While this isn't a huge issue, it took a few hours out of your day if you do wish to go and visit such beautiful scenery, history and culture.
All in all, highly recommended for service, accommodation, location, and amenities. -

Once again Susan and her awesome villa team provided a wonderful stay for us at one of her villas with all of our needs more than taken care of. Villa Sarang is located just behind Sarong Restaurant and is situated close to all of the great restaurants in the Petitenget area. The villa is exactly as pictured in the photos and is maintained to a high standard. The grounds are beautiful and the big pool was great to swim in everyday. What really makes the villa special is the staff. Asih the housekeeper is bright and bubbly and it was a joy to see her everyday. She was so friendly and always had a big smile on her face and we loved having a laugh with her. Asih made us wonderful breakfasts everyday and kept the villa immaculately clean. Putu our driver was fantastic and took us anywhere we wanted to go. He was always friendly and smiling and nothing was ever too much trouble for him and made our trips out shopping and sightseeing fun everyday. Sindu the villa manager was as reliable as ever and carefully explained everything to us that we needed to know and was only a phone call away if ever we needed anything. Overall Villa Sarang is a great place to stay close to restaurants, shopping and sights in the Seminyak area. Thank you Susan for a great stay once again and your villa and staff are a credit to you. I can't wait to come and stay with you again!

The service was excellent,especially asih.and Putu. Asih was our cook and Housekeeper and Putu our driver both were excellent.
the villa was very clean and comfortable.Lovely Decor beautiful garden and Pool.Room's were large .One minor thing I think the outdoor eating area could benefit with a fan over the outdoor eating area.but this is a very minor suggestion,as you could not fault anything else.Location excellent close to many top notch restaurant's which would be 5 star in australia we were there for 4nigh;t but wished it was longer.Seminyak a great place to stay.the pool would benefit with something to grip to get out of the pool as steps are steep for older people to get out of pool.great place. -

My brother and I stayed at Villa Sarang for 5 nights and could have not asked for better hospitality.
From the moment we were collected at the airport by the beautiful Putu, our experience was 5 star.
We were met by all staff at the villa in a very friendly and professional manner and all our needs were met very attentatively.
The villa was a wonderful size and the presentation was fantastic and a perfect balinese experience. Very tranquil.

The service we received from all of your staff was outstanding, very welcoming and friendly, with a special mention for Putu our excellent driver. Villa Sarang is very well appointed and provides a very relaxing atmosphere. It is ideally situated in a secluded,yet very covenient location within easy walking distance to lovely restaurants, shops and the beach.
Having not enjoyed my previous visit to Bali in 1997 when we stayed at Noosa Dua, I am now very much a "Bali convert" after having stayed and enojoying the wonderful facilities at Vlla Sarang.

Considering we were travelling with a 7 month old, this was the perfect choice of accommodation. The service provided by Susan and her team were significantly better than what we would receive at some of the top hotels. Good value when the following is included in the cost:
-airport transfers
-driver for length of the stay (no need to put up with local taxis)
-private swimming pool
-full kitchen
-wifi
-overnight security
The villa was clean and maintained well.
Highly recommended; would definitely stay at one of Susans villas on our next trip to Bali.

We stayed here for 8 days with our 2 young children in October/November 2012.
The villa is well located and very central but what makes this place great is the staff - the owner Susan goes above and beyond to ensure your every need is anticipated before arrival (eg-pool fence, baby car seats, stocked fridge) and the housekeeper, Oka and driver, Putu really made this a holiday to remember. We had the luxury of being driven everywhere we wanted to go which ensured we saw so much more of Bali than we would have on our own, every restaurant and attraction that was suggested to us was well researched and fantastic. The layout of this villa might not suit all families with young kids as neither the bedrooms or TV room are linked internally in anyway, but there is security outside the premises each night which was reassuring. The villa is within walking distance of the main shopping areas of Seminyak- although with the extreme heat we experienced and the lack of pavements, walking for us was not an option. We had a great time at Villa Sarang and would gladly recommend it to others. -

The Villa is located in a great area of Seminyak, so close to so many fabulous restaurants, once you are behind the gates of the Villa you are in your own oasis and feel very safe and secure. The Villa is very clean, spacious, well appointed and true to the pictures. The extra's included with the Villa such as Putu the driver, the use of a Villa mobile phone and fresh fruit prepared by Oka the maid, make the whole experience very easy and stress free.
The Villa manager Sindu was very professional and able to accommodate our every need.
I enjoyed the whole experience of staying at one of Susan's Villa's, the hardest part of my day was deciding where to eat next and which massage to book in for.

I stayed at Villa Sarang with my husband and 3 children (youngest 8) and what an enjoyable experience we all had. The service from the original request to book the accomodation right through to checkout was faultless. Susan quickly responded to all emails and ensured that everything was extemely well organised. The staff were amazing, extremely friendly and always eager to assist. The location of the villa was great as it was only a short walk to the beach, Potato Heads and several other restaurants however as the villa provides a driver walking is not required if you dont feel like it. We highly recommend staying at Villa Sarang.

It's not often that you find an holiday villa that provides not only 5 star accomodation but also 5 star service at a reasonable price.
First, the service starts with a member of staff being there at the Denpasar airport as you arrive a ittle tired to meet and greet you with a lei of beautiful flowers and a drink prior to delivering you, family members and your luggage to the Villa. By now the villa driver, in our case named Budi, has introduced himself and you will find out that not only is he an excellent driver but knows where to take you in Bali. You then arrive at the Villa (which should have been named Villa Paradise), to be greeted by the Guest Relations Manager - Sindu, and the Housekeeper & available Chef - Oka. They are just beautiful people whose main aim is to see that you have a great holiday and want for nothing.
It won't take you long to discover that the Villa's owner Susan and her staff know how to decorate, supply and provide all the little and bigger things that are impressive. For example, the fruit basket with a whole watermelon, bananas, pineapples, limes and other fruit in the kitchen. A hugh oven & hot plate stove to make pizzas in or for that matter anything. Fresh hot and cold water on tap. Lcd Tv's in every room. Natural soaps and top of the range hair shampoos and conditioners. I could just go on and on but then it would mean that you would miss out on the the additional extras provided.
Nearby are excellent restaurants, cafes, boutiques, spas and mini-marts. The Sarong restaurant is at the corner of the street and Potato Head just down the road. Also our favourite dining spot was Biku only 10 minutes from the Villa.
We are looking forward to coming back and as we have seen other Villas owned and managed by Susan can now recommend any of them to you for a memorable holiday in Bali. -

Villa Sarang was in such an ideal location that being stuck in the Bali traffic was a thing of the past. We had a motor bike which made traveling a little bit easier, but after we a few days we ditched the bike and walked everywhere. There is a really nice walk to the beach and then along the coast to Echo Beach - feels a million miles away from the wind and rain at home. The staff in the villa were amazing the security guard always heard our steps coming down the road to the villa and had the gate open for us. When we got home at night and eventually got into bed, the surrounding area was whisper quiet, which was quite shocking considering how close the villa is located to all the top restaurants and bars.
I can honestly not say enough nice things about Trisna, the housekeeper, she was amazing. When we arrived she laid out frangipani's flowers all over the place and made us feel really welcome. She was so softly spoken and worked around our requirements. My partner and I liked to have some time to ourselves so Trisna came in the mornings and did what she had to do and then went home, which was perfect for us. Nothing worse than staff just hanging around when you just want to be alone.
I would highly recommend Villa Sarang to anyone looking for a perfectly located villa in Bali with a beautiful pool and amazing service. Having the local mobile phone to use was a real benefit as well, making bookings at restaurants was a lot easier and cheaper!

Our first trip to Bali and I was just hoping we got the accomodation right. Villa Sarang was just like the photos, a big relief, we were smiling from the moment we walked in. So many places to relax, very comfortable and the place was spotless. The little touches and extras helped make this the best holiday we've had. Thanks for everything Susan, the only disappointment was leaving.
