3 couples and a single traveller have just enjoyed 14 beautiful days at villa La Mer, what a beautiful place the staff were amazing so friendly and helpful. This is one place we all would highly recommend, after staying in beautiful resorts in Bali we decided to try a vill, it certainly paid off. Our driver could not have been more helpful always ready to take us anywhere at any time.
No need to go to a bar and watch the aFL as we had it on our tv. A lovely beach a short 1 min walk. All the wonderful meals prepared by the chef were fresh from the local market daily. Looking forward to returning to this villa. :) -

I am an american living in Singapore and visited Bali with my mom and mother in law. It was their first time to South East asia and our trip to Bali was the beginning of their stay. Villa Kaira is a stunning property that has been beautifully decorated in authentic Balinese style with every luxury and comfort you could ask for.
There is a staff of five handy at all times to cater to anything you need and they made us delicious meals. Harry our drive was amazing- extremely knowledgeable, very safe, and accommodating to our specific schedule and needs.
One of the reasons we love Villa Kaira is not only the villa spacious and luxurious, the location is great. You are about 10 minutes outside the craziness of Seminyak and a two minute walk to the beach in Cangguu.
Can't wait to return to this villa.

A group of 8 girlfriends and I stayed at Villa Le Mer and what a fantastic experience! We had a ball, with our own private chef we could organise any meals whenever it suited us, and such lovely food was prepared. Situated 10 - 15 mins of seminyak the villa was hard to find for cab drivers but with our handy driver for 8 hours a day we could get around easily! Our driver was a champion and took us to many funky places and new all the best spots.
The villa was very spacious and the pool was beautiful. Each bedroom had their own ensuite and catered for all our needs, the master bedroom downstairs was amazing with an all open bathroom.
Our rooms were serviced each morning and if we needed to book tours or wanted to book a table for dinner the staff were more then happy to organise this for us. We were able to sit back relax and everything was done for us!Response from Craig Steeples - 05/04/2013

Yes, the English speaking driver and Suzuki APV vehicle included in the villa rate is great for getting you around the island and the drivers know all the good places to visit.
Thanks for your feedback regarding cab drivers. The villa estate is situated on a well known road and we do leave plenty of business cards for each guest with a map location of the villa estate and taxi instructions in English and Bahasa Indonesian. We're also in the process of erecting a new, larger sign outside the main front entrance to the Berawa Beach Estate where the villa is located.

We had such a great time with our family and friends. The villa really opens up and allows a great indoor and outdoor experience with the fantastic pool to refresh in as the centre piece. We got around really easlily to all the hotspots and walked literally 1 minute to an amazing beach. The views from the roof terrace at sunset were awesome as we put back a few cocktails! Who needs KuDeTa!!
After all the web surfing we did to find a great place we really lucked out with this one. We'll be back and bring our friends again for some great times.
