We have just had the pleasure of staying in this villa for a week and this is now our favorite villa to stay in when we are in Bali. I have lost count how many times we've holidayed in Bali and we've stayed in many different styles of accommodation. For me, private villas are the way to go and in this location. I have stayed quite a few times in villas in the area where there is a strip of bars with lots of shops one street off Seminyak Road but now I find it's way too busy. Battling with buses trying to get out of narrow streets with massive hotels...not a great place to sleep and live. This villa is down a lane way with other villas next door. It's peaceful to sleep in , no loud doof doof at 3am from clubs and bars and no buses jamming the streets, it's perfect. The villa is clean, well run with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are generous, with comfortable beds and big airy bathrooms. There is a taxi rank close by and a little store close by. We saw Balinese kids flying kites one afternoon and playing in the street, it was great. That night we were drinking Champers in one of my favorite night venues in Seminyak, everything is in walking distance or just a 5 minute taxi drive away, can't get any better than that! The villa is tastefully decorated, tropical but not over the top, I wake up and I know I'm in Bali not a hotel chain or a place with out character. My favorite aspect of the villa was a really well planned lounging area with a small but functional kitchen overlooking a large swimming pool. At night we could swim in the pool, or sit on the outdoor lounge chairs for hours after dinner, very relaxing with no noise and very comfortable. I'm booking my next holiday here, ticks all the right boxes and I'm glad that I've discovered this area in Seminyak; I still want to be close to the action but not in it and I like all of the comforts that this villa has to offer. Peaceful, pretty, quiet and functional, it has it all.

Loved staying here because I loved the location and the villa is very comfortable. Ive stayed in hotels and resorts but give me a villa like this any day. Private pool, extremely comfortable beds and big clean airy bathrooms. Cant ask for anything more. My wife loves to shop and there are great restaurants nearby and we ate cheaply but also taxied to places like Sardines and Metis quickly and easily. Taxis were nearby and are very cheap. The villa has a traditional Balinese feel with welcome statues and pretty decorations. When I'm in a foreign country i like to feel the culture( but with the modern comforts) The villa provides a mobile phone that goes to the management company and I felt well looked after. There is an information booklet and the staff are very helpul, every need and question was taken care off. I would certainly stay here again, I loved the feel of the villa and the prettiness of the inside. A highlight was the extra long swimming pool and the comfort of the living area. Definitely recommended!

This is Bali , how i imagined it. Nicely secluded, calming, away from the rowdiness yet close enough to the action to enjoy all the fun that Bali has to offer. As a Sydney- sider, my prime reason for this trip was to escape the city, be near the beach and enjoy the cheap food, shopping and travel. Bali is perfect for this and villa amsa was a great place to base ourselves, I've stayed in some really disappointing places and this did not disappoint. We shared the villa with another couple and a friend because there were enough bedrooms to share to cost, also we had en suites and enough privacy. We had drinks by a fab pool every night, went to restaurants and bars for the evening and woke in a lovely peaceful surround the next morning ready to venture to nearby shops and cafes. Also the maid speaks English which was a bit of a life saver, and proximity to taxis was a plus. Very cool place to stay, we will be back.

Stayed in villa amsa (Benoit) but seems to have a new owner, this place is beautiful 3 large bedrooms with ensuite, open living area and kitchen, the help from Selma around the house was wonderful, the pool is magnificent and refreshing with plenty of sun and shaded areas, the photos are a true representation of what you get, charming

We stayed here for a couple of nights in January and was pleasantly surprised at the great location ( quiet but close to the action in Seminyak). The villa is decorated in traditional Balinese style but with modern touches and the bathrooms were big and enclosed. We love the feel of this villa and we relaxed as soon as we entered through the large green carved wooden doors. The villa has everything you need for a pleasurable and relaxing stay. A big living space overlooks the pool and there is a small and neat kitchen area too. We will definitely stay here again, it's great value and the location is fantastic. A lovely Balinese retreat!
