We have stayed at VDI on two separate occassions, including a week at New Year's. Both stays have been head and shoulders better than other Bali villas we have stayed in - the quality of the villa itself (pool, common areas, bedrooms) and the service are first rate. Also in a great location. Highly recommend staying here - and when you do, recommend planning at least one evening 'in' where the staff prepare a barbeque dinner. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

We, my husband, myself and our three sons (3/5/7 yrs old) stayed in Villa Des Indes for 6 days. We had an absolutely fantastic time.
The staff is not only professional, taking great care of your every need, but they are also very warm and caring; like you would expect from the Balinese people!
The villa is spacious and beautifully decorated. Enough space for us to invite over our friends with their children.
Location wise you are only a short stroll away from KuDeTa, the shops, Bodyworks and the many restaurants Seminyak has on offer.
But with a villa like this there is no need to leave really...it is pure bliss; we' ll be back!

We (family of 5, 3 young boys) stayed at Des Indes for almost a week and immensely enjoyed our time there. The villa is beautiful, the staff is thoughtful and the chef is very skilled. The boys also really enjoyed the large "wrap-around" pool.
The setting is very private and close to the main beach clubs, Kudeta and Potato Head. Little touches, such as cold towels when you return, finished a very nice holiday.
