From the moment we arrived everything was absolutely out of this world. We stayed at Quisa and both the facilities and staff were fantastic. went down to the hotel for one or two meals and they were reasonably good. The beach was abit disappointing but there are lots of others.

Left on 10/20/2011 for a stay in September 2011
We stayed for 5 Nights in the middle of September 2011 and also hosted our wedding reception dinner there on the last night.
We were in a group of 4 in the Qusia Villa set in the hills and near to Qunci Pool Villas. I can confidently speak for all the guests when I say it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The Villa itself boasts large bedrooms, bathrooms and dining areas and the 3rd bedroom was totally separate from the main house, which is great for privacy. The master bathroom upstairs had the biggest shower space I've ever seen. The artwork and stonework was tasteful and interesting and we felt very comfortable and safe staying in the villa.
The villa is located around 5 minute walk from the Qunci Pool Villas up a dirt road. You will pass roosters, chickens, goats and cows to get there, and there is a nearby village which I believe was home to 200 locals. The locals were all very friendly, smiling and waving every time we saw them.
You are free to dine at any of the Qunci restaurants, book day spa treatments and use all the hotel facilities including pool. The hotel shuttles you freely via car, so don’t feel you have to walk down to the hotel/s, although we didn’t mind walking through the day at all. We went down to enjoy happy hour most afternoons.
The 25m private pool is certainly a feature of the property, and maintained very well.
We took our ipad with a music playlist for sitting around the pool and that worked well with the Bose outdoor remote control. The entertainment system was great if you bring along a ipad or ipod with your own music.
We used the gym a couple of times, which was great after all the food we were eating.
The two butlers Munzier and Ony were awesome and very friendly and we got along well with both of them as with all the staff for that matter. The staff are the biggest asset to Qunci. The chef did a great job cooking our breakfast each morning along with the huge spread of food he cooked us up for lunch and dinner on two of the days (daily surcharge). We went to the local food markets with him and paid for all the seafood, meat and vegetables and we were very impressed how he transformed it all into tasty dishes. That was quite the experience and maybe not for everyone. He cooked up these fresh coconut crepe rolls for dessert along with chocolate lava puddings for dinner dessert. The prawn spring rolls were also a big hit.
Wifi was fast enough and always accessible.
The bedrooms were starting to look a little tired, and in need of some slight maintenance, but the living rooms, bathrooms, study and entertainment areas were all in good order. The grounds were immaculate, the pool clean, and the outdoor furniture spotless.
We think this property offers great value for money, especially if you are travelling in a group with two or three couples. We can’t wait to go back. -

Our week long stay at Villa Qusia at Qunci Villas was unbelievable. The service was awesome with a nice two butler shift per day. We had our two year old with us and the staff made numerous accomodations without hesitance which made the trip much more relaxing than I would have thought possible. Also, the pool adjacent to the big pool turns out to be an absolute blast for toddlers since it is no more than a foot and a half to two feet deep. We had a great time, and without the normal annoyed glances from hotel patrons that can sometimes occur.
The Chefs cooked delightful meals for us and we had an excellent experience at every meal time. Having a chef prepare your meals is a must. Each meal surpassed the next, and best of all, it was extremely affordable. Everything completely exceeded my expectations. If you are considering Lombok, this is where you need to stay. The combination of having your own private villa and the ability to hang out at the resort pool and beach is unbeatable for relaxation. -

This was my first visit to Qunci Villas and it was great. The location is fantastic and so relaxing. Top it off with exceptional service, great food and a really nice room with everything you need. It is hard to have a bad experience with such a great location but you really feel the taken care of by the staff. The only downside is the extra pounds you will put on eating the outstanding food. 5 stars!

The service was excellent but some of the bedrooms are in need of an update. Check in and out was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Nicest feature was the pool and the outdoor living area. The villa is great for privacy but i think on return I would stay in Qunci Pool Villa's as these are much more modern. Food was excellent in both venues.

We have stayed at Qunci numerous times in recent years, and although we have tried others, Qunci is by far the best choice on Lombok. Contemporary island design & first class accommodation, efficient, friendly & accommodating staff, and great food!

Melbourne, AustraliaThe quintessential villa experience - villa Qusia, Lombok
Left on 05/15/2010 for a stay in May 2010
Well May 2010 saw my third visit to Qunci villas in Lombok, this time my first stay in their 3 bedroom 'Villa Qusia' on the hill. It's hard to find enough superlatives for this place. The villa itself is almost indescribable. Incredibly spacious, designed impeccably down to every last detail. Pure opulence, but with the utmost taste. Believe me, this villa has to be seen to be believed.
Spectacular views of the ocean; Mt Agung in Bali & stunningly beautiful sunsets. Magnificent artworks; infinity pool that almost defies description - built into the side of the hill, it gives you the feeling that you are at one with the ocean.
It has absolutely everything - superb sound system, fully equipped gym, gorgeous bathrooms, space, space and more space, lush tropical gardens, and the list goes on. The service is faultless, the staff are wonderful and my only regret is that my schedule only allowed for four days in this magnificent place. I have stayed in many beautiful places in Indonesia, but without a doubt this is the 'villa of all villas'.
My travel companions were equally knocked out by Villa Qusia. I'm writing this review on my second last day in Indonesia, and already planning a much longer stay there. I usually visit my 'second home' (Lombok) 3 to 4 times a year, and have explored most acommodation in Lombok, the Gili Islands and Bali. This place is without a doubt the ultimate - I'm still in awe. Just go there - you'll be gobsmacked.
Ho hum - back to the grind in Australia tomorrow, with memories of a place that is pure Nirvana. My return is assured as soon as humanly possible.
Heartfelt thanks to our butlers Ony & Rakar - you are sensational. To all staff, sincerely, thanks just doesn't seem enough.
Selamat Tingal dan Terimah Kasih Banyak.
An indelible memory of a heavenly place.

A fantastic honeymoon location. We stayed at the Qusia Villa high up on the hill, separate from the other Qunci Villa establishments, with stunning views over the top of palm trees to the ocean with magificent sunsets and views of Bali in the distance.
The Villa has several separate (different buildings) bedrooms, so it can cater for a group although we had the place to ourselves. There is no shortage of space, with a gym and separate tv/living room as well as the outdoor (undercover) dining and living areas. The personal butler service is there for all your needs; in our case keeping us supplied with food and cocktails as we lounged by the long infinity pool. The butler also organised dinner out for us at a seafood restaurant on the beach one night (giving us the recommendation, checking the menu, making the reservation, and organising transport) although the food offered through room service was good (those banana pancakes for breakfast were delicious) and we had the pleasure of a candle-light dinner on the beach at sunset which was provided as part of the accomodation package. Basically there were too many great things to mention, to fit into a review. We will definitely be back, with others, and recommend you try it too.
