This was my first time going to South Korea, and I had no idea about what the apartment would be except from photos they provide. However, when I got there, I found the room was better than I expected. It was very clean, and well prepared. I found everything I needed during the staying. Also they provide cable tv, wi-fi, washing machine, and floor heater. These equipments helped me enjoy a wonderful staying. The price is also worthy. I would recommend it to my friends if they want to visit Seoul.

In apartment we got Wifi, big refrigerator, heater, washing machine, and nice bed. Location near to city centre, and only 200m to subway station (Sangwangsimni). From apartment walk to subway station, and continue around 300m, round the corner (pizza hut at second floor) there is Korean restaurant. We went there every night, altough they can't English, no problem. There are also small market and others restaurant. On the last day, I have a chance to walk up the hill behind the apartment. There is a small park.

I stayed in Wendy apartment early December and the apartment is clean and the location is located near to shops which makes it very convienient for my family.
I would recommend this apartment to my friends if they are going to Seoul but I would recommend to take a second apartment from Wendy if you are staying with more 2 persons as the mattress is quite thin.
The place is also very easy to get to other location like Itaewon and ther good shopping location by train.

We recently stayed at this apartment centrally located in Seoul and owned by Wendy Lee. It is a wonderful apartment, fresh, clean, with nice windows and a nice view overlooking a traditional residential area. Wendy is very helpful and a pleasant person. We arrived at Incheon airport rather late and took the train into Seoul, however we missed the last subway to the station by Wendy Lee’s. We hailed a taxi and showed the driver the printed address, but he didn’t speak or read English. We had rented cell phones at the airport and called Wendy and she spoke to the driver and we were on our way. At one point, we had to move into a different room (there were four of us) and we needed extra bedding and towels. We called Wendy and they were delivered that same day. These are examples of the excellent service she provided us.
The apartment is a five minute walk to the Sangwangsimni subway stop, and in the other direction, perhaps a half mile from the Sindang subway stop. There were restaurants located by both subway stops, but we usually ate a meal near the Sangwangsimni subway stop. There was a 24 hour restaurant to the right, just past the subway entrance, and a number of restaurants across the street in a shopping and restaurant area. There was also a Paris Croissant Café just past the Sangwangsimni subway stop, with nice baked goods.
There was a small store next to the apartment building and we purchased coffee, milk, and other things there. There was a larger convenience store across the street, which was open late. We enjoyed walking down the back streets of the area, with little shops.
We went up to the rooftop garden several times, and it was a nice place to relax and observe the city. There were a number of electrical outlets in the apartment, and we had no problem with our voltage converters. The hot water pot worked quickly and we used it to make instant coffee in the morning. There was also a stove and toaster.
I would highly recommend Wendy Lee’s apartments. They were a few subway stops to shopping, the palaces, etc. It was very centrally located to the main attractions of downtown Seoul.
Seoul was a lot of fun, the food was great, and the people very friendly. The shopping was amazing. If we make another trip to Seoul, we would like to stay again at Wendy Lee’s, it was such a wonderful experience. -

I stay at another place that wendy and mook also rents out. It is actually a loft in the same area. The building was new and the location is centrally located. Once inside, the view was amazing since it's on the 8th floor. It was clean and all the amenities worked fine (AC, heater, washer). Just like the other apartment, it has everything you would want.
There were couple of days that it rained while I was in Seoul and I just chilled at the apartment and it was very comfortable.
I didn't go up to the loft//bed since it's a crawl space. I slept on the sofa bed downstairs, which was comfortable. The only thing that I had to deal with was the sun beating down in the morning. But it really didn't matter since I was out of the place just sightseeing Seoul.
When I go back, I hope to stay at this place again. -

I had a great time at this apartment. It is centrally located, just a few subway stops from many of the local attractions. The apartment was clean and contained everything we needed. There was even an extra mattress for sleeping on the floor. A great deal for such a good location!

This apartment is right next to the Sangwangsimni Station exit 6 and this made it ultra convenient to sight-see the city, as this station is very centrally located. The apartment is on the back side of a very modern, relatively new building, there hardly any street noise. There are very modern windows that also attribute to a quiet stay. I heard none of my neighbors during our stay but did pass some in the hallway. Wendy is a great communicator as is her husband Mook they both spoke very good english and answered all my questions via email. The apartment has a keyless entry and a 15 story rooftop garden. A washing machine, rice cooker, electric kettle, stovetop, and microwave. A tv with many channels including a couple movie channels in english made this apartment a great place to come home to. The bathroom/shower is clean and the water pressure is great and hot. The apartment had radiant floor heating which did a great job of keeping us warm. The place has a refig and freezer and there were many places close by to grocery shop. Walking distance from the apartment in one direction was very western and walking in the other direction was very Korean. Many restaurants close by and the shopping districts are all within 4 subway stops. The bed was very comfortable (and I am have a picky back). And the bedding was clean and comfortable. The apartment was spotlessly clean and appeared nearly new. There is room for your baggage and places to hang and place folded clothes. My brother and I stayed here and it was the perfect size for us, more people could be accomodated but would not seem as roomy. I would not even search for another place to stay next time I come to visit, this was the perfect choice. The aparment has wifi and it worked great. If you are an american or english speaking person you will have no trouble with this apartment.
