Serenity Shores is a lovely beachfront home on Diamond Point located between Port Townsend & Sequim with incredible views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island (wildlife sanctuary tours), Mt. Baker, Victoria and the most beautiful sunsets ever. Wake up to deer in the yard, baby seals on the beach, seagulls & magnificent eagles searching for their breakfast. Adventuresome beach walks, water sports, enjoying the continual sealife activity & relaxing are just the start of your fun. The fishing & crabbing are great. Bring your own boat & launch on-site or rent one nearby.

Serenity Shores is located in the "Banana Belt", which is a 14-mile strip that gets more sun & less rainfall than any other place in western Washington. So, it's just as beautiful, magical & appealing throughout the fall, winter & spring. See the freighters and boats hide behind Protection Island waiting out the occasional stormy seas. Perfect for a romantic getaway, fun for you & friends, escape from the city, & families love it since there's so many wonderful things to do for all ages! Plus, it's easily accessible for all, whether it's a week-end or a week+ vacation. A quick ferry ride from Seattle, Edmonds,, or Whidbey and less than an hour drive to reach Serenity Shores. Or you can enjoy the beautiful scenic drive around the Olympic Peninsula. You'll want to venture out & explore this beautiful Peninsula area with all it has to offer. Enjoy the breathtaking experience of Hurricane Ridge, the many hiking trails nearby, Lake Crescent, walk the Dungeness Spit to the Lighthouse, play golf or shop til you drop in artsy Port Townsend. And the Olympic National Game Farm in Sequim is great, plus the ongoing music festivals, fairs, wineries & lavender farms.

Traveled from New England to spend Christmas with our son and felt completely "at home"... despite the rains in Seattle it is true that the sun shines in Sequim... we were cozy and warm in front of the fireplace after walks on the beach with the moon arising... majestic mountains on the horizon as we combed the shores looking for special rocks... the road leading into Seqim was magical upon our arrival with ornaments hanging from trees the entire way... in winter peace and serenity sure permeates this place... perfect environment to reconnect with family and build memories... Cheryl even called to make sure all was well... nice touch... we really loved the atmosphere that she has created in this lovely beach house!!!

What a lovely home and a fabulous location. If travelers are looking for a fully equip vacation home off the beaten path, this it. We spent 3 nights and wish that we would have had time for more. While staying at Serenity Shores, we saw porpoise, a bald eagle and seals. The weather in this area was lovely and is much nicer than in Ocean Shores. Beach combing was quite a treat thanks to the mild weather.
The home had great amenities such as a full kitchen and open concept living area facing the water. The side of the house facing the water is completely made up of windows to give you a panoramic view of the water and Protection Island. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and the fridge was a good size. It would easily hold 1-2 weeks worth of food and anything purchased at the Sequim Farmers Market.
The beds were both full size and the linens were very comfortable. It was also nice to have access to the washer and drier and the wonderful Webber Grill. The owner was very helpful and had plenty of local information and tourist pamphlets right at the house. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to go back for another visit in the near future.Response from Cheryl Maurer - 09/04/2012

I've had the pleasure of staying at the lovely Serenity Shores beach house on Diamond Point with a group of friends for the past several years. We always have a great time taking in the waterviews ,marine life, sea foul,and enjoying walks on the beach, and the spacious, well appointed yet cozy and comfortable Serenity Shores beach house.
Serenity Shores is located right on the beach and every year we are able to in the spectatular views either outside on the sandy beach enjoying a nice beach fire or from indoors with a nice, warm, crackling fire going in the brick fire place.
We look forward to our weekend at Serenity Shores every year and can't wait to return next year. Also, the proprieter Cheri is very welcoming and personalable. I highly reccomend Serenity Shores!Response from Cheryl Maurer - 10/14/2011
