Description from the manager
From the moment you cross the threshold of Villa Belong Dua, you will be embraced by the tradition, history and culture of Bali. This charming, unpretentious dwelling offers a sweet taste of Balinese village life, combined with all of the five-star creature comforts of international tourism; super-soft king-sized beds, flat-screen TVs, a home theatre and a chef who would be comfortable in any kitchen anywhere in the world.
Villa Belong Dua takes its name from a Balinese water vessel, of which there are two: one in the garden and another in one of the bathrooms.
Although it’s a stylish and up-market holiday villa, its design...Read more

Additional Location Information
Villa Belong Dua is located in the heart of Seseh, a traditional beachside village, heralded by a towering banyan tree and approached via an avenue of coconut palms. Seseh and the tiny neighbouring villages of Sogsogan and Cemagi still retain the customs and culture of old Bali. Here, you will see farmers in conical hats riding rusty old upright bicycles, as well as frequent, colourful processions to Seseh’s large beachside temple. There are no international restaurants near Seseh, but you might just see a barong (a high-spirited, benevolent beast representing the power of good) dancing on the street. The good news, for folks who want to immerse themselves in the customs and culture of old Bali, is that the villagers encourage and welcome congenial visitors. There are now over 30 private rental villas in these three villages, all of which have seamlessly integrated without in any way detracting from the simplicity and charm of the location. This is an ideal destination for those who want to get lost in the beauty of the countryside, and for those who want to engage with the local people and gain privileged insights into the Balinese Hindu lifestyle.

Vevey, SwitzerlandSecluded Paradise villa
Left on 01/21/2013 for a stay in January 2013
My husband and I stayed for a week with my parents in this secluded paradise. It was the perfect place to unwind. Away from tourist maddness the whole property is really well thought out and beautifully designed. The pool is sublime and the garden immaculately maintained. There is a media room, a huge common area and the rooms are simply stunning, with outdoor shower.
We so enjoyed the massages, checking out the geckos, butterflies and beautiful flowers in the garden and doing laps in the pool.
The staff were all so lovely by the end of the week it was like stayting with extended family. Sainna is a great manager and made some wonderful suggestions for our trip.
The food was always delicious, we loved the fresh juices for breakfast.
Our Driver 'Made' really was the perfect guide and made our day trips extra special taking us to the best beach spots.
We would highly recommend this Villa for a relaxing family holiday. Hopefully we will be back! -

PerthFamily time with some adult RnR on th side!
Left on 12/12/2012 for a stay in December 2012
Villa belong Dua was exactly what we needed for relaxation and to spend time with our ckildren (3 1/2 and 19 months). The village with no tourists was ideal. The childrens splash section of the pool was perfet and made swimming enjoyable and relaxing for everyone. The gardens were perfect- especially for fairy hunting and flower picking! At first I was concerned about the 2 beedrooms. However, the children were set up in a small room attached to the main bedroom which surpassed my expectations. It meant they were close to us and in the same building, yet we still had privacy. To say the food was great is an understatment- the Chef was excellent and even my fussy girls ate everything up! Staff were very helpful, polite and respected our privacy and independence. I would highly recommend Villa Belong Dua to families wanting to get away from everything, focus on the children and sneak in some adult RnR too!

Dublin, IrelandOutstanding Service in Bali
Left on 07/07/2012 for a stay in June 2012
We stayed in Villa Belong Dua for 6 nights. From our arrival (greeted by all the staff) to our departure (waved off by all staff) it was an outstanding example of quality service.
The rooms were spacious and of wonderful quality.
The most outstanding aspect was the attention of the staff. Nothing was too mu8ch trouble for them. On a couple of nights they cooked for us and one night for additional visitors. In all cases the food and service were exemplary.
Finally I must comment specifically on the Manager of the villa, Sainna. She went way beyond reasonable expectations of her in looking after us. She even included her family in seeking out suitable accomodation for our second week when we wanted to be based in a different village.
In summary; a superb experience.
Thanks to all the staff.

sydneyPerfect Bali Holiday
Left on 02/20/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Villa Belong Dua is as the pictures portray and more...truly divine. We travelled to Bali for a friends birthday celebration. I had never visitted Bali before but the idea of a traditional Bali experience was appealling and Villa Belong Dua didnt fail on delivering. The village of Seseh is not too far from Seminyak "as the crow flies" but with Bali traffic it is a 30minute drive into town for countless dining and bar options. However, if you also just wanted to relax and lay around the pool all day this Villa is ideal. Seseh beach is also about a10minute walk from the Villa. The bedrooms are spacious , clean and comfortable, The bathrooms are something special and "that couch"...Wow. What impressed the most was the Villa Manager, Rahmat and his entire staff...nothing was too much trouble and we were welcomed every morning with amazing smiles and hospitality. From the moment we were picked up from Seminyak for our transfer to Seseh, the level of service from all staff was exceptional. We had 12 friends over for a birthday celebration, catering and service was organised and provided without question. The food for our entire stay was amazing and you must ask Rahmat to make you his "fried bananas" for breakfast. We had massages organised through a local salon on a daily basis and can thoroughly recommend the treatments. For a true taste of Bali village life with modern comforts this Villa is perfect...absolutely loved Villa Belong Dua.

melbourneExceptional holiday
Left on 09/29/2011 for a stay in September 2011
This villa is the perfect place to stay as a base camp for your real bali experience, if your looking for a peaceful, relaxing holiday this is the place to stay but dont expect any tourist or touristy shops. The villa is located in Seseh village which is away from all the tourist noise and hustle and bustle. The villa is only a short 20 minute walk along the beach, to reach the famous echo beach cafes. A quick 20 min taxi ride will get you to the busy seminak area or a 1 1/2 hour drive will get you to ubud a must do place to visit but allow a full day min. the food here is to die for and the prices are cheap, we visited ubud 3 times to eat and not to mention shop.
The villas landscape makes you feel like your experiencing the real bali the pool is to die for you can spend all day just swimming and relaxing. The staff are willing to offer there assistance whenever required, their friendly and easy to talk to. The manager can arrange to book all the best tours. We just returned from a 10 night stay and would hestitate to go back next year
