Folly Cottage is a ground floor studio apartment in the centre of the popular market town of Settle in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

A ovely cottage for a quiet feww days away.
It was well equipped and cosy, and in good ocndition, with tea and biscuits ready set out for a real Yorkshire welcome.
Shops were convenient, and all the essentials were readily available.
Excellent walks around the area, and above all peaceful. Thouroughly recommend it -

The cottage was very welcoming and set up with essential provisions for our arrival after a long journey (milk, biscuits, etc.), which was very much appreciated. The cottage was very snug and cosy, and perfect for two. It was so cosy, I could have stayed there forever! Having the wifi was very useful when planning the next day's activities. The cottage was perfectly situated in central Settle, but was tucked away from the main road so it was very quiet. The cottage was very close to a good moor walk so you didn't have to go far to experience the lovely scenary. The Talbot arms was about 200m away and served good beer and food. The train station was a 5 min walk away if travelling on the Settle-Carlisle railway. The local bakery made excellent pies and cakes! Settle was a great base from which to explore the area. Would not hesitate to go back!

We are a mature couple, and we were looking for well-maintained accommodation for two people. It needed to be close to good walking but also with access to buses, trains, shops & restaurants. Folly's End met all the criteria perfectly.

Excellent welcome from owners, couldn't be more helpfull.
Plenty of excellent walks in area.

Lovely cosy little apartment in a great quiet location whilst still being just around the corner from all village amenities. Owners are very helpful and welcoming without being in any way intrusive. Easy access to surrounding dales area especially for walkers. Highly recommended and we would definitely return, very therapeutic!!
