This resort is located on the quiet Northern part of one of the most admired beaches in the Caribbean, Seven Mile Beach. You can walk for miles on soft powdery sand, soak up the sun beside the pool, enjoy some excellent snorkeling right on your doorstep or wonder at a blazing sun disappearing into a tranquil ocean from the privacy of your own apartment.
Please note from the 9th Jan 2013 to 27th March 2013 this property can only be booked as a 1 bedroom condo as the second bed and bath will be locked off.

We stayed in a corner unit, second floor. Was pleasantly surprised how sound-proof it was...wasn't bothered at all by neighbors. The beach was beautiful and the snorkeling was amazing. My kids loved the turtle farm and the swimming with sting rays. I loved that we were far away from Georgetown and the cruise ships in a quiet section of the beach. I would highly recommend Grand Cayman and also Discovery Point - their service and hospitality were fabulous.

A comfortable stay for our most recent visit to Cayman! Well-stocked kitchen with most of the gadgets you'd want! The Discovery Point housekeepers did a great job getting in and out each day. My only suggestion is that the bed linens need to be replaced---they are old and thin. The comforter was stained and clearly needed to be clean or replaced. We usually bring a couple of new Dvds for night time entertainment, but the small TV made movie viewing a bit of a challenge.

Location was great. Beaches were very nice. Plenty of room for a family of 5 or 6. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, etc. The only problem was a septic smell that permeated the front bedroom and hall. It was worse in the late afternoon and early evening. We smelled it 6 out of 7 days. Opening the front door and balcony door usually would give enough ventilation to get rid of it. However, one day the parking lot smelled that way too so we could not open the front door to ventilate. Without the smell, this condo would have received a 5 star rating. Hopefully they can determine how to get rid of the odor.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would certainly stay again. Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the showerheads in each shower as they were the worst I have ever experienced.
The unit was very well stocked and the daily housekeeping was great. -

This was our third stay at Discovery Point # 15 and to be sure we will make it our choice the next time we return. We love the location, the amenities and how private a setting it really is.
