This small resort is nestled on the quiet northern part of the beautiful Seven Mile Beach, yet only a few minutes drive away from the “action”: watersports, shopping, golf, restaurants, bars, etc. Within swimming distance are some excellent snorkeling grounds or you can walk this powdery beach for miles, and watch glorious tropical sunsets from the privacy of your own ground floor beachfront apartment.(Sorry no children under the age of 5)

If ur looking for a place to relax without any distractions, if u want to just wake up & read a good book with a fantastic view than this is the place for u. It's away from all hotels & congestion & just a short walk to restaurants, water sports. After exploring the rest of Seven Mile beach, this section is by far the best location. The condo we stayed in #9 however is alittle dated but clean & that's most important, staff is very accommodating & r there everyday to clean. Also something of importance to us is safety, & we always felt safe either walking beach or walking to restaurants at nite. Overall great place to stay & this was our 2nd consecutive yr hear & wouldn't stay anywhere else on this island.

My wife and I got married in Grand Cayman Island. We had stayed somewhere else in Seven Mile Beach and wanted to have our own time away from everyone. We chose White Sands due to the reviews on Tripadvisor and its location.
The beachfront is absolutely gorgeous. There are sun loungers for each apartment and our ground floor apartment went right out to the sand. The coconut trees provide shade as does the centre tree which illuminates beautifully at night. There are hammocks in between some of these trees. The water is far calmer than other parts but there are large rocks and it gets deep very quickly. Be prepared to see some shoals of fishes swimming by very close (5 metres) to the beach. As a relaxing beach holiday this place is excellent.
The public part of the beach is very small and due to its secluded location very few of the riff raff come to this part of the beach. They mainly stay at near the public beach which can be very crowded. The Cafe/bars are located near this busy part of the beach and the nearest supermarket is about 15 minutes walk away but you can always get the bus. The road is not paved like the rest of Seven Mile Beach so tread carefully.
The actual apartment is very much average and nothing to rave about. It is adequate but the rooms are far smaller than our previous villa in Seven Mile Beach. The apartment was serviced daily but at the quite inconvenient time of 0830 and the amount of toiletries were not as generous as our previous villa. The kitchen was fully equipped and there were ample amount of towels in the apartments but the they were not replaced daily and had to be washed in the washing machine in the kitchen. There is only one TV in the living room which has Cable but the reception was very poor and some channels inaccessible.
This is a perfect location if you just want to get away from the crowds and enjoy the beach and relax. It is secluded which means that to get to the bars supermarkets and other locations takes a bit more effort. The only downside is the apartment which could be a bit nicer and more updated. -

Lovely unit right on beach. Clean and well appointed. Only complaint is that a pushy maid tried to have us leave 8:30 am when check out time was 11:00, because she had another check in that afternoon. Once I called management (about 2 hours later!) she left us alone...but that killed the whole "quiet, peaceful" vibe, and left a final bad impression.
Overall, however, it was beautiful and we'd stay there again. It's on a great part of Seven Mile Beach with soft white sand and calm amazing water. Car recommended. -

A small but adequate condo in a splendid location with a beautiful, deep beach, lots of shade, quiet (at least in late august) and ocean-front dining every day!

We had a wonderful stay. As we had read in some reviews, the villa's decor is outdated. That didn't really bother us though because it was clean. Our housekeeper was very kind.The beach and water in front of the villa were both beautiful. The only real problem was the internet. It worked slow and sporadically. Since there wasn't a lot of wind the insects were bad, but that would have been the same anywhere on the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to stay here again if we return to the island.

The bad: The room was kinda small and not well furnished. The dining room table was broken, internet was cellular and was not really functional the entire time we were there. Luckily there were open networks in the area that we could get on. The master bed was old, squeaky, and hard. Def. needed to be replace a long time ago.
Couch was very uncomfortable to even sit on. I could not imagine sleeping on it. So if you plan to have people sleep on it...plan for them to hate it.
No pool. So if you dont like swimming in the ocean, then you will be hot.
The good: Beach and swimming area was nice. Clean and good for snorkeling at 200 yards out.
Overall it was a nice place, but it def was not as nice as some of the other places that were available at the same price. -

I loved staying at White Sands but I must say the unit needs some updating. The cleaning lady does not do a very good job. She just pushes the sand around in the unit. It would be helpful to provide a decent vacumn. Price is a bit high especially if you opt out of cleaning service. I paid a cleaning lady $100 to clean after the cleaning lady. Doesn't seem right.
