This is a brand new listing. We purchased the condo in April and put it on the short-term rental pool for the first time at the end of January. It is the closest unit to the beach in the entire complex. The beach is 2 steps from the condo's patio doors. There is a common-area patio right outside the condo beach-side doors that offers spectacular panoramic views of the beach and ocean,

We are also listed on VRBO, listing 451560, and are very pleased to have received a 5-star rating from our first guests.

The condo includes updated amenities, including a king-sized bed, brand new mattress, LG Smart TV, free wireless internet ac...cess, Netflix, free phone calls to the US and Canada, and fully equipped kitchen. The pictures speak for themselves.

Cayman Reef Resort is located at the heart of 7-Mile Beach (SMB), walking distance to all amenities, including top-of-the line restaurants, as well as casual and inexpensive dining. The Wharf, about a 20 minute walk away, offers some of the best cuisine the Island has to offer. Another popular restaurant, Karma, offers Asian Fusion, and is literally seconds away, located across the street. Within the same walking distance, quick and family-friendly restaurants, such as Wendy's, Subway, Pizza Hut, Burger King and Chicken Chicken, offer affordable meals that can be taken back and enjoyed in the comfort of the condo.

The condo is a few steps away from one of the most popular beach bars in Cayman, Royal Palms, where locals and tourists alike enjoy celebrating what makes Cayman unique - that everyone, regardless of age, can come together and celebrate the beauty of this unique and gorgeous Island in a friendly and relaxed setting.

The two most popular dive shops are also within walking distance, where visitors and locals have access to some of the most sophisticated diving gear and supplies. Since the Island's focus is enjoying the sun and shore, Cayman is abundant with Water Sport operators who offer unique activities, all of which are within steps away from the condo. Renting a car and waiting for buses are not necessary...there are boats that offer pick-up service, a few feet from the doors of the condo.

Cayman Reef Resort is also within walking distance to Camana Bay, which is a self contained unique town that is enjoyed by tourists and locals alike, and prides themselves on the philosophy of 'Play, Shop, Dine, Work, Learn...' Camana Bay offers all of the amenities of home with a Caribbean flair, and is a popular and child-friendly locale, where all can enjoy a relaxed and up-beat experience, including energetic nightly happy-hours.

We have lived in the Cayman Islands for over 14 years where we have, and continue to live and raise our four children. We feel extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to own what we consider a piece of paradise, which is Cayman Reef Unit #31, the condo as close to the ocean as you can possibly get on SMB. Our primary residence is across the street, minutes from the condo. We thoroughly enjoy all of the time we have been able to spend at the condo when it is not being rented to others, who can hopefully share the same joy we have experienced.

Because of the amount of time we have spent enjoying the peaceful serenity that is Cayman Reef 31, our inspiration for the interior decor was to create a sense of home. We have therefore decorated it with furniture that has a Caribbean, beachfront flair, while at the same time providing the creature comforts we expect from home, and are proud to have received the highest rating possible by the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism. The property is in Grand Cayman, located on the most popular stretch of 7-mile beach - and better yet - boasts being the closest condo to the ocean on all of 7-mile beach.

A parking spot is included, but a car likely won't be necessary because everything is within walking distance.
