We loved our first floor unit at the aqua Bay Club--nicely decorated, very clean, and just steps from the beach and those beautiful Caribbean waters. Great snorkeling just offshore, particularly at Cemetery Reef, which is less than a five minute walk up the beach. There was a lot of coral washing up along the water line, so it might not be the best choice for very small children (that might not always be the case though--there had been a lot of storms in the weeks before our visit). Also, we bought some frozen pizzas before realizing that there is no traditional oven in the kitchen and then discovered the microwave is a convection unit, so no problem. Staff was great . . . no complaints at all.

The service is Ritz quality. The condo units are very nice. The location has to be the best on the beach. The location, service and units make for a great experience.

This unit is on the bottom floor and walking out the patio door to the pool or beach was so convenient. The unit is very large and comfortable for our family of 4. The kids had their own bedroom with twin beds as well as their own bathroom. The beach was perfect for swimming and snorkeling or lounging under the umbrellas. The staff were unbelievably friendly. They cleaned our room everyday, except for Sunday. (almost everything is closed on Sundays) We would definately stay here again.

We have enjoyed our stays at aqua Bay Club and especially being on the first floor. There's nothing to beat walking out the back door and having the pool and the ocean right there.
The accommodations are great. The pool was a great temperature this year. I didn't try out the hot tub so I don't know about that.
We love Grand Cayman and keep returning (every year since 1991 except for 2004 when Ivan wiped out the island) in large part due to the lack of crime. We always feel safe on Grand Cayman no matter where we find ourselves.
With Cemetery Reef just a fifteen minute snorkel away, this condo is in a great location. It's away from most of the traffic and very close to a grocery store and several very nice restaurants.
One thing I would like to mention is that some plastic glasses would be great so they can be taken out to the pool area and the beach. -

Beautiful property. Peaceful and beautifully landscaped. It was perfect for our family, but did want to note that the beach right in front of the hotel drops off a bit, and is not the perfect place for swimming, but I am told is good for snorkeling. We were also told the quality of the beach varies depending on the tides/time of year. Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to return. We had to walk down to the 3 or so properties to find a good place for kids to swim, but the beautiful landscaping and clean rooms, along with the peaceful atmosphere made up for the walk.

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. The layout of the unit was perfect for our family of four. The two teenagers had a separate room with twin beds and the master bed and bath worked well for us. The common area was spacious and the kitchen and outdoor gas grill allowed for many meals in the unit. However the best aspect was the walk out screened in porch leading to the pool that was situated right on seven mile beach. Daily service was very good and the staff was helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience.
