      Had a Great Christmas stay in Better View Cabin

      We stayed 5 nights over the Christmas holiday at the Better View cabin and loved it. Our family of 8 had a very comfortable stay, we had 4 bedrooms, 4-1/2 bathrooms and 2 sofa beds. The cabin was as advertised on the web site and we were not disappointed. Eden Crest had decorated the cabin for us, we had a very pretty tree in the main living room and another pretty tree in the game room downstairs. They had also put garland on the staircase railing and wreaths on the doors, it was very pretty and made our Christmas very special! The view was very pretty from the decks and we got snow flurries on our last night there! The maintenance people were working on Christmas day and showed up to empty the garbage cans which were very full. We planned on calling the next morning to have them emptied and were surprised when they showed up on Christmas day! The only disappointment we had with the cabin was the fireplaces. When I booked the cabin over the phone, I had asked about the fireplaces and was told they were gas and actually they were electric and did not give off any heat! We were plenty warm with the central heat, but would have liked to have real fireplaces. The only other negative was in the kitchen, there was no large mixing bowl of any kind which made making a salad for all of us a challenge, but we managed! All in all the cabin met our expectations and myself, my husband and our family had a fantastic Christmas! Our thanks to the cabin owners and Eden Crest for giving us the opportunity to create many wonderful memories on our Christmas vacation!

      Great Mountain Getaway with an awesom view.

      This was one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in. Our kids loved the rec room; with the pool table and arcade games. With all the fun we were having spent much more time just hanging around the cabin than we expected to. Having two hot tubs was a real plus as well. Having the free WiFi connection was great as well. We will recommend this cabin to anyone, and we hope to get back soon. My son calls Better View our "Cabin Home"

      I enjoyed the cabin. Had a great time. Wish we new about the golf course where to get the clubs. Wish swimming pool was bigger, it was packed the whole time. Also didn't like having to call to have gasrbage pick-up. It was stated on rental but I have never had to do that in the twenty something years of renting cabins in Pigeon Forge.

      This is our first cabin home and our experience was awesome. We had lot of fun and enjoyed every moment. The mountain view was good but I can see other cabins from my view. Only complaint I have is the home theater sound was very poor. I will go with them again.

      Overall the cabin was in great condition. The pictures on Eden Crest website did the cabin justice. The cabin was in a good location with plenty of parking. All of the amenities worked well. The kitchen was stocked with dishware and silverware. The only issues we had with the unit were minor: the unit had not been used for several weeks before us and there was some evidence of mice; a mouse was behind the wall (you could here it at night); and the carpet in the basement (gameroom) was slightly worn and had a place where it was starting to unravel. Other than that the cabin exceeded our expectations.

      The only real problem with the stay was in the kitchen area. Deep cleaning needed to be done, and supplies and utensils were sparce.

      Our overall trip was fantastic. I had never been to the mountains and I absolutely loved it. The cabin was great, the view was amazing, it was everything that I hoped it would be.

      I will definitely be visiting again. This trip was for adults but I see that Eden Crest is kid friendly, so next time I will be bringing my children.

      This is the perfect getaway!

      The service was wonderful and the cabin itself was immaculate. It was just far enough away to feel the peace of vacation. There were only downfalls: the cabins are very close to one another and the description for this cabin said it had two hot tubs; there was only one.
