      Cabin needs some work

      Stayed in Tranquility. The carpet needs replaced. The couch is frayed on the corner. Fireplace worked intermittently...needs repair. There were no measuring cups in the cabin to cook with. Most importantly...the sheets do not fit the beds. Both couples had to put the fitted sheet back on the bed in the middle of the night each night because it did not fit properly.

      The Cabin was clean and wonderful. The only thing that I could suggest would be a hair dryer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on coming again.

      It was our first experience in a cabin. The online pictures did not do the cabin justice.
      It was simply beautiful and the view was magnificent and so-o-o-o-o quite.
      *It had everything we would use at home.
      *We enjoyed preparing our meals.
      *The mountains were beautiful... early in the morning we'd sit on the porch reading the bible, with a freshly brew cup of coffee, it was like having coffee with the Creator Himself.
      Even though it rained the grater portion of our stay it was Just awesome. We thank Jehovah for the opportunity to experience nature in this way and we're looking forward to coming again real soon.

      Great location. Split distance between Gatlinburge and P.F..
      Wasps flying in and out of hot tub made us leary of turning it on. Noisiest bed I've ever tried to sleep on upstairs. Selection of kitchen utensils were a bit thin. Great experience overall and look forward to visiting again.

      We stay in a cabin in Gatlinburg every year during Spring Break. This experience cost us the same as a 5 bedroom cabin rental in Gatlinburg. The amenities provided were fewer than previous rentals. We did not perceive the value for the price paid.

      At Eden Crest, we strive continually to give our guests good value for their vacation dollars. Our cabins are of a luxury class, and we pride ourselves on accurate pricing in comparison to other cabin rental companies. Most of our guests find that they cannot get a better cabin for the price. We have checked, due to this review, but cannot find any 5 bedroom cabin that have a publicly posted price the same as Tranquility (a 2 bedroom cabin) for the time of year you were here. They were all hundreds of dollars more.
      As to amenities, each cabin is fitted out by the individual owner of that home. We list these amenities on our web site. If there were other amenities that you were interested in, when calling to make the reservation, our staff would have tried to match your vacation needs with the perfect cabin for you. Keep in mind, Tranquility is in a resort setting, so the resort amenities can be part of the guests’ decision equation. Sherwood Forest, where Tranquility is located, offers a seasonal pool. There are other cabins in other resorts with much more to offer in the cabin and in the resort. Please ask about the exact features when making your next reservation.

      carpet was dirty, upstairs bedroom sheets did not fit the bed and the bed squeaked terribly only three rockers on the porch limited our enjoyment of a spectacular view as there were four people in our party

      Review of Tranquility

      The cabin was over priced. The iron and ironing board were cheap, we wore wrinkled clothes all week. Things above eye level had not been dusted in a very long time. The cabin had some areas that needed repair, ie broke bar stool, etc. The cabin is not at all secluded as the on-line picture would have you believe. The cabins are like condos, one right beside the other.

      The setting of this cabin is wonderful, the check-in was painless and the people we dealt with at Eden Crest were friendly and very helpful. The only issue we had with the cabin is the master bedroom matress was very uncomfortble and lumpy, so we sent our son up there and we slept downstairs! There is a great roadside BBQ stand on Weirs road about 5 miles from the main drag-check it out!

      I absolutely enjoyed the Tranquility cabin. It was so clean and very cozy. The view was amazing. There is so much to do in the area and yet when your in the cabin it's like your miles away from everything. I would absolutely suggest this cabin to everyone and I can't wait to go back. The only thing I would suggest is finding out which roads are closed because it took a lot longer to get there than expected so find out before you go.
