Additional Location Information

This cabin is located on 4 PRIVATE ACRES atop a ridge on Bear Mountain, basically equal distance to Both Downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This is a popular mountain for rental properties. The Middle Prong of the Little Pigeon River (Great Trout Fishing) is less than 3 miles away, you will cross over it if you go into either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, also great for tubing !!

  First I would like to thank Jeff for working with us so my family and I could have such a memorable vacation. As far as the other "review" our experience was the complete opposite. We think the cabin is more than is portrayed !! My 2 boys loved the airhockey Table !! The washer and dryer were a big help with the boys getting dirty. The cabin is very secluded and it was nice to let the boys just go outside and play and not worry about them ! It was nice to sit down as "a family" and have dinner again. The kitchen is very nice and was stocked with everything we needed. Yes, the pots and pamns are not top of the line, and have some scratches , but are perfectly usable ( I cooked breakfast almost every morning, and several dinner!). I would highly recommend this cabin to any one. The arentz family

  If you choose this cabin and plan on staying in as much as possible for dining keep these things in mind: no dish/kitchen towels, cookware was not great, dishwasher did not work and the garbage disposal was stinky. It was a little dusty and dirty with cobwebs. Not entirely sure bed linens were washed from previous guest. The air hockey table did not blow air. The garbage cans out front were completely full. Even the paper that was left to tell you departing instructions had dead bugs on it. It is very reasonably priced but could have gotten a hotel room for about as much. It is tucked away in the mountains and away from the hustle and bustle.

  First, if you rent any of my cabins and there is a problem or you do not know how to operate something, PLEASE CALL ME !! I live in the arae, I know the cabins and can either explain to you how something works, or fix it . I CAN NOT CORRECT SOME THING I AM NOT AWARE OF !! THIS GUESTS NEVER CALLED ME EVEN ONCE !!. Now let me address the isues. First, my normal person that helps me clean when we are very busy had to leave town due to her son being in a SERIUS car accident and had to have his spleen removed and she had a friend fill in for her while I was at other cabins. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PERSON AGAI, AND I ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT. Second, "Dish Towels" I personally find them very unsanitary so I SUPPLY 2 ROLLS OF PAPER TOWELS !!, third, the cookware - The cook ware is not the "BEST" please remember this is a vacation rental cabin and over the course of a year many, many people, some not that bright, are using it. I do replace it every SPRING, but cannot at my rates afford to change it every month, however it is clean and usable. The garbage disposal, it is hooked into a septic tank since the cabin is in the woods ( no sewer avail) there is a cap for the disposal that can be used, and it is always on the sink. The Air Hockey table-- WORKS PERFECTLY !! But there is a SWITCH on the power cord that must be turned "ON" a simple fix if the guests would have called me. A take respoonsibility for the trash etc that should of been done, but IF YOU ARE AT A CABIN AND SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT, PLEASE CALL ME, I WILL COME AND FIX IT OR SEND SOMEONE WHO CAN !! This is a GREAT CABIN AND OFFERS ALOT MORE THAN ANY HOTEL OR SIMILAR CABIN AT TWICE THE PRICE !!! IF YIOU HAVE A CONCERN PLEASE CALL ME !!!! JEFF
