      Perfect location / all the amenities we needed

      This chalet was perfectly located because we like to spend an equal amount of time both in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The drive was simple and easy access. The chalet had everything we wanted as in Internet access, wood burning fireplace and covered hot tub. The beds were comfy and on same floor. We thought having the showers upstairs was a bit unique but we got used to that. Overall an excellent experience.

      This was our first experience renting a cabin. We stayed 3 nights. Staff was friendly. Generally speaking it was a clean cabin. The living room is much smaller than the picture shows. We did not try the hot tub. The biggest disappointment was the jacuzzi tub. It didn't look clean. Neverthelss, we filled it up and turned on the jets. One of the jets shot water into the bedroom. The water turned brown. There were only 6 towels in the unit and no laundry detergent. They could be exchanged at the office which is 8 miles away. The dishwasher made an awful noise so we didn't bother using it. The unit smelled like a wet dog. We purchased air fresheners to combat the smell. The iron was at least 30 years old and quit working the last day there. Our boys enjoyed the pool table, but it wasn't level. Basically, we rented a cabin for the extra space, kitchen, hot tub and jacuzzi tub. A motel room with a micro/fridg would have been all the same and we would have had clean towels and room everyday. We informed staff of our concerns upon checkout and the lady seemed geniunely concerned about getting the issues rectified.
