With its all-wood construction and panoramic valley and mountain views, Secluded Pointe is the quintessential Wears Valley cabin. At the same time, it offers a level of luxury rarely found in a rental. In fact, Secluded Pointe boasts a theater room, a game room, a hot tub, ,stacked stone gas fire pit, landscaped waterfall, and two plush bedroom suites with king-size beds.
One of the biggest perks of this rental is that we’ve outfitted it with the latest technology and tons of entertainment options. The den, for example, has a 40-inch TV, a Blu-ray player with Google TV, and a surround sound system. Downstairs, in the game room, you can play pool, foosball, air hockey, or 60 different arcade games.
You’ll also find a home theater room with a 58-inch TV—the perfect place to watch Netflix (it’s complimentary) or the big game. The NFL Sunday Ticket package, the ESPN College Game Plan package, and the DirecTV HD Sports package are all included with the cabin.
Both bedrooms have in-suite bathrooms, king-size beds with pillow top mattresses, and private decks. The master bedroom, which is located in the loft on the third floor, also has a Jacuzzi tub.
The view from both decks is incredible—you’ll see nothing but the valley and the Smoky Mountains. The second-story deck is also a great place to hang out; there is a six-person hot tub in which you can enjoy the spectacular views all year long.
Outdoors, you’ll find a landscaped waterfall, a 12 x 12 deck with stacked stone gas fire pit, a charcoal grill, and a picnic table. Between the three decks, you’ll have the perfect set up for enjoying the natural beauty of the Smoky Mountains.
True to its name, Secluded Pointe feels a million miles away from it all. However, if you need anything, it’s only two miles down the mountain and only four miles to Pigeon Forge or the National Park. You truly get the best of both worlds. Secluded, luxurious, and well-equipped, Secluded Pointe is unlike any other rental in the Smokies.

Private and million dollar view!! Exceeded our expectations! We stayed for the weekend. The cabin has everything promised. It is certainly secluded, but easy access. The cabin is decorated nicely, and furnished with anything we needed. We will definitely ask for this cabin on our next trip!

Let me just start by saying that you will have the best of both worlds at secluded pointe. The location is very secluded and private yet just a few minutes drive to the non-stop action of Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. When we arrived, I told my wife that the pictures on the website cannot do this cabin justice. The cabin was very clean, neat, and absolutely stocked with everything one would ever need for a perfect vacation. Modern with all the best ammenities and technology. My wife and I have stayed in over ten cabins in the area, but secluded pointe tops them all. The owners are very cordial and professional. Mr. Ward made our booking and stay a very simple process. If you are looking for seclusion, serenity, and out of this world views, then you have found a gem in secluded pointe! A big thanks to the Ward's for providing a cabin retreat that is well worth the money!!!

The entire process of selecting, renting, and vacationing at Secluded Pointe was outstanding. The owner had top notch and very timely communication during all steps of this process, including a welcome call after we arrived to check if everything was as we expected and to answer any questions we had. The cabin is up-to-date and very very clean! What a pleasure it was to go to sleep on a really comfortable mattress and wake up to the sight of the mountains each morning. One of my favorite activities was to have breakfast on the porch and enjoy the quiet and beautiful view of the valley and mountains! The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The bottom floor is a combination game room/theater. There is a really nice deck with a firepit and also a waterfall outside! The location is on the "peaceful side of the Smokies" yet is a short drive to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and into the park. We are trying to figure out when we can return for another stay!

My husband and I spent our 30th wedding anniversary week at secluded Pointe and enjoyed this beautiful cabin very much. The views are simply breathtaking. The side deck with relaxing sounds from the waterfall and fire pit are also certainly top notch! Look no further if quiet and secluded is what you are looking far in a cabin!

Perfect Cabin! Incredible views; very private location! Cabin was gorgeous (exactly like pictures) & had everything you could want! Owners were a pleasure to work with and took care of every detail possible!
This cabin is perfect. The view and location can't be beat!!!

This cabin far exceeded our expectations. You can't ask for a better location and view. Forget all the traffic jams in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Wears Valley is quieter and has a fantastic view. We were able to get into the Park in about 10-15 minutes with no traffic at all. The Wear Cove and the Townsend entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park make Cades Cove and great fly fishing just a quick hop from the cabin. Our sons loved the pool table and the air hockey. We had great weather all week, but had it been rainy, we would have been very happy spending a day at this cabin and never been bored. The owner (Don) was very good to work with and checked on us when we arrived to make sure everything was ok. We would definitely return to one of Don's cabins again.

Look no further for a cabin to rent, this one is it! I usually spend months searching for the perfect place to stay when we vacation and this one was definitely perfect. Awesome cabin with an amazing view. My daughter made a comment that every morning she smiled when she woke up and saw the view. This cabin has everything you could want, and then some. In fact, I think the kids would have preferred to spend more time here than sightseeing. Every evening we looked forward to coming back to the cabin to enjoy the theater and game room, or relax in the hot tub or by the fire. My husband and I also loved the fact that it is secluded, but still only a short ride to the park or attractions. Don Ward was extremely helpful with any questions we had and provided us with plenty of information before we arrived. I would definitely stay here again and I plan on recommending it to all of my family and friends.

The cabin is just as described if not better. My husband and I planned this vacation knowing that this would be the last big vacation for awhile due to my upcoming school commitment. The cabin provided a wonderful retreat that allowed our family to spend time together, have space to relax without being on top of one another, and had amenities that our 13 year old and 21 year old could use and not be bored. The kitchen had everything you need to cook if you want to, the outside deck and grill area provides easy grilling and relaxation, and the hot tub was a welcomed spot after hiking and site seeing. The game room/theater room provided ample entertainment and family time and the video game provided us adults memories of our childhood playing PaC man and Donkey Kong! The views in the morning are spectacular as the sun comes up over the mountains. There is a Kroger's near by so stocking up on things for the family to eat is very easy rather than eating out every meal. Mr. Ward makes the entire process of renting the cabin easy, gives all the needed information on how to operate all the electronic equipment, and even called on the night of arrival to make sure we arrived safe and to make sure the cabin was to our liking. We had drove for 10+ hours so it was nice to know that someone was expecting us. We will definitely return in the future and may even check out his other property that is closer to our home for a mini get-a-way in the future. Thank you for giving us a great family vacation!

The title says it all. I can't overstate how happy we were to have found this property. My wife and I just returned from staying at Secluded Pointe 6/2/13-6/6/13 on our Honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. The cabin is truly secluded, has excellent amenities, an incredible view of the Smoky Mountains and much more than we could've possibly hoped for or expected.
Don Ward, the owner, operated exactly as advertised, gave us a great deal of area information, checked in with us a few hours after arriving and truly made sure our stay was perfect in every way we wished. The Ward family has put so much thought into this property that we found ourselves amazed over and over at the attention to detail.
We loved the views from both decks, the hot tub on the lower deck, the new deck with gas fire pit, the peaceful little waterfall and so much more. As if the property wasn't enough, we absolutely fell in love with Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg/The Great Smoky Mountains. We will be back and we will stay at Secluded Pointe or one of the Wards' other area properties.
For a guaranteed excellent experience at a gem of a property, stay at Secluded Pointe!

Let me qualify my review by saying we've visited and stayed in different cabins/rentals in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg no less than 10 different trips since 1998. By far, Secluded Point is one of the nicest cabins we've visited. Clean, spacious, beautiful furnishings, and a game room/theatre room that is unbelievable! We have 12-year old twins that absolutely loved the amenities! Very convenient to town and only 15 minutes to the Smokey Mountain National Park when taking the back routes. Will certainly check for availability in this unit when visiting next time! Geaux tigers!

My husband and I and our two children (ages 12 and 9) recently stayed at Secluded Pointe for three nights. The photos don't do justice to the cabin or the scenic views. The cabin is gorgeous, well appointed, and very spacious. The views from the decks (and hot tub!) are positively breathtaking, even on cloudy or rainy days. With the game/theater room and (truly) all the comforts of home, you could choose to never leave the cabin and still have a wonderful vacation. The location is close enough to town -- groceries and restaurants are nearby -- but entirely removed from the crowds. You would never know that the Parkway traffic was a few miles down the road. The cabin is in a different world. It is absolutely quiet and peaceful. Don was great to work with, always available by phone and more than happy to answer questions or give suggestions. He seemed to genuinely care about us as visitors and wanted to ensure we had the best experience possible. We highly recommend Secluded Pointe and hope to return!

This house/cabin is everything it is described to be. The views are beautiful overlooking Maggie Valley, and the house is designed for optimal viewing day or night. The location is such that you almost believe you are the only people on the mountain. The only downside to this location is the winding road that takes you there. The house was very comfortable and well stocked. The owners were very nice to interact with and helpful. It was a pleasant surprise when, after our arrival, the owner called to make sure all was OK. The entire experience with this rental was 5 star for us. Maggie Valley is a nice retreat from the rush of activity in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Read more
Guests refers to Maggie Valley in the review but our cabin is located in Wears Valley with spectacular views of Wears Valley and the Smoky Mountains.

Home was absolutely beautiful with amazing views. Everything you could need was provided...just bring food if you desire. The Wards even called to make sure that we made it safely and everything met our expectations. Well, it exceeded expectation and I was so impressed with the extra consideration with the greeting call. My family couldn't stay out of the game room though! Morning cup of coffee on the deck and watching a hawk fly by was a highlight. Peaceful and breathtaking! I would love to stay here again and highly recommend anyone traveling to the Smoky's to stay in this rental as well.

We recently stayed at this cabin for a week with our 2 kids - ages 13 and 9. We enjoyed this cabin so much! It was the perfect place for us to stay. At the end of a day of sightseeing we were just as excited to go back to the cabin as we were to go out that morning. It was very clean with comfortable furniture and everything we possibly could have needed. We had one day where it rained all day and I was actually glad to stay in. The gas fireplace makes it extra cozy. With the game room, hot tub and excellent movie/tv selection, not once did I heard "I'm bored" from anyone. The owners were great at communicating and everything went very smoothly thanks to their easy and detailed instructions. It is very private but just a short drive to a ton of sights/attractions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Park View was the perfect cabin for our vacation. The pictures do not do this cabin justice. We stayed for five days and did not want it to end. The kitchen was fully equipped with all we needed to make meals. The furniture was comfortable and the decor was just beautiful. The beds provided a great night sleep after a long day of sight seeing and shopping. The game room and theater room provided great entertainment for everyone. The cabin has great views of the valley and mountains from all levels. I especially enjoyed waking up in the loft and seeing that view first thing in the morning. The hot tub was the perfect ending to a long day. We visited Cades Cove, Gatlinburg and The Track. Cades Cove is great for seeing wild life, Gatingburg for shopping and The Track for family fun. The owners, Don and Cindy were very helpful and accommadating with our stay. Don called upon checking in and checking out. We will definitely be back to Park View.
