The People at Great Cabins were so friendly and helpful. We loved the cabin - just what we needed after traveling for a week and staying in little hotel rooms. It was very cozy. We missed having a TV but appreciated the wide selection of Dvd's to watch. Would definitely recommend this cute cabin.

We had a late arrival and there were no lights on at the cabin and it was extremely dark b/c it is so secluded. The cabin was nice and seemed fairly new. I had read a previous review about it smelling musty. It does have a bad musty smell which I think comes from the beautiful antique church bench in the loft. Since the sofa and chair are fabric and not leather, it really soaks up the musty smell. Our personal blankets smelled like must when we got home too. Other than the musty smell, my complaints were the shower curtain had a good bit of mildew on it, there were dead bugs in various places in the cabin, and the back porch and hot tub area had spider webs, hornets nest, cigarette ashes, and things all over making those areas feel unclean. So the next morning I addressed the issues with the front office and they sent someone out to put a new light bulb on the porch, change the shower curtain, but they only swept a path from each back door of the porch and didn't sweep up the spiders or by the hot tub at all. Other than that, the sheets were clean, the bathrooms were very clean, and the kitchen was pretty clean (although the range could've used a good cleaning) It seemed someone spot cleaned. The DVD collection was extensive as said and we didn't miss the wi-fi or cable at all! We were going to TN relax and we were able to do it. I've rented a lot of cabins and I don't think I would stay there again unless it was cleaned very well and something was done about the musty smell.
Nice secluded cabin

Nice cabin. Very private. If you have a full size truck make sure it has 4 wheel drive or you may not make it up the gravel drive if it rains. There is a private residence down the hill that had a hound dog and a rooster that woke us up every morning but it wasn't a big deal. No satellite TV but very extensive current DVD collection. The cabin had a musty, damp smell and it would have been nice to open some windows but they were screwed shut. Nice location and its easy to drive to and from the cabin avoiding the chaotic Pigeon Forge area. I would suggest to the rental staff to provide a map instead of turn-by-turn directions when trying to find the cabin. Overall very nice cabin and pleasant staff at Great Cabins in the Smokies. Okay, first off, the actual cabin: We absolutely loved the décor, the coziness, and the location was very convenient. Now to the reason for the two star review. My husband and I stayed in this cabin for five days with our two dogs. When we arrived, I was holding the small dog in my arms as we spoke to the gentleman in the office to get our key. He said nothing about the dog. My husband signed the rental agreement and our stay at Snuggled Inn began. Note:Nothing was mentioned in the agreement about the pet policy and nothing was said by the gentleman who greeted us about the dog. Upon returning home, we discovered my husband's credit card had been charged 75 dollars by Great Cabins so he called to find out why. The lady informed him it was because they had to "clean the bedding because of the dog." A few issues with this: 1. I would like to think that any hotel or cabin where guests stay automatically cleans the bedding after each guest-dog or no dog. To think we slept in "used" sheets/blankets really grosses me out! 2.How "dirty" can the bed have been when I brought my own sheet from home to cover the comforter as a courtesy so that dog fur would be minimal? 3. Nothing was mentioned in the agreement or in person about the extra charge if you want clean bedding. We looked online at the cabin description and did see a blurb about a fifty dollar pet fee. I understand this. But it was quoted as 50 dollars, not 75. The woman on the phone was rude and useless. At least the additional 25 dollar difference should be refunded. How they can charge money out of the blue is criminal. She even admitted that nowhere is this sneaky fee mentioned because frankly if it were, we would not have booked this vacation. Either way Great Cabins can't win because either they're thieves or they allow their guests to sleep in dirty bedding. We'll be filing a complaint with the BBB and alerting people about this situation on every review site we can find for this cabin. Unreal! Read more

We are very happy that you loved the Snuggled Inn cabin!
Now, about that pet fee...under the Rental Policies on the website AND on the actual Rental Confirmation sent to you, it does actually state that there is an additional pet fee applicable. The pet fee is to offset the additional laundering costs associated with cleaning after pets. We do ALWAYS use clean linens, laundered through a commercial laundry. We are not theives, nor sneaky, nor criminals. Our guests are expected to read and understand the Rental Policies, you are even required to check a box to acknowledge that you have done so when you make an online reservation through our website - which is exactly how you made the reservation.
I am sorry for your confusion or lack of understanding regarding this fee.

Checking in and out was very easy. The door code was easy to use as well. The cabin was very clean and had everything that we needed. The TV was a bit difficult to use, but that would be out only complaint. It was secluded enough but cloe enough to all the attractions!!

It was very clean, the staff was very helpful, it was in a great location close to hiking nearby and it was just so cozy! We were all looking for a nice get-a-way weekend and this place was exactly what we needed. Loved the hot tub and fireplace and DVD collection!

Very private, very well-kept, nice amenities. It was a little hard to get in and out of in our large truck, but once we figured out to come in one way and go out to the left, it was fine. I imagine it might be more difficult if it rained hard, but it didn't when we were there. Super nice and helpful staff, clean cabin, convenient to everywhere. We especially liked the privacy. We will definitely be back!

Our family enjoyed the woodsy location of the cabin and my girls had a great time fishing in the pond with the fishing poles and tackle provided at the cabin! The cabin was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was awesome with the string lights! We had everything we needed for cooking, pool table and games and a huge selection of Dvds and big screen TV. The one thing that needs improvement is the pull out couch was in really bad shape with springs sticking out, so if you go plan to use a blow up mattress for the kids! Read more

The cabin was nice. However, the plastic plants, especially the ficus in the bedroom, were extremely dusty. We had to move the ficus out of the bedroom. The toilet tank in the primary bathroom had a small leak so turned on throughout the night to refill the tank. Otherwise, the cabin met our needs. Great DVD selection.

I would highly recommend Snuggled Inn and Great Cabins to anyone.

This was really a top-notch cabin. It was elegant and comfortable. It rained which made it even more cozy. The TV doesn't have cable, but that was fine with us. When you get away, it's best to shut off the real world, and recharge your mind and body.
It was a terrific stay, and the staff was very helpful. I cannot wait to rent from great cabins again in the future!

The cabin was in a great location. when we stay somewhere we like for it to be semi secluded and the location of this cabin was great. it was very quiet. My stay wasn't as great as I would have liked for it to be but it was because i had had back surgery two weeks before and I was uncomfortable not because of the cabin. However the hot tub felt wonderful!!!! I also loved the decorations in the cabin. My only recommendation would be to get cable tv. The dvds were great and up to date but sometimes you just want to watch tv, oh and let someone know when there is an alarm system before they go to the cabin. Overall the cabin was beautiful and quiet and i would definately return.
This cabin exceeded all of our expectations!

We stayed at Snuggled Inn for five days in April and it couldn't have been more comfortable. The weather was perfect and the amenities were just what we were looking for. The cabin was secluded but not too far off the beaten path. It felt like a home away from home- the cabin was cleaned spotlessly and the fully furnished kitchen was nice for cooking meals when we didn't want to go to town. We had a blast and will definitely be back to Snuggled Inn!

Our stay in Snuggled Inn was great! First off, it was spotlessly clean, which created a great first impression for us. The location was also exactly what we wanted, off the beaten path, yet only 10 minutes from Pigeon Forge and maybe 5 to 10 minutes from the park. There are several small shops in Wears Valley only a few minutes away that seem to be very reasonable priced compared to the more crowded areas and every one there is very friendly. The cabin is beautifully decorated and we loved all the natural wood inside. The front porch swing gave us a place to relax and listen to nature, and there is a small creek in the ravine below the cabin that is overlooked by the hot tub and back screened in deck. There is also a small lake at the bottom of the hill that you can fish with, and the cabin even has fishing poles and a tackle box to use.
The only other thing to mention is the gravel road getting to the cabin. The cabin is close to a paved road, so the drive on the gravel road is short, and the road is safe and well maintained, but is a little steep and intimidating when you first drive down it. We did not have any problems but it is something you should be aware of. So overall we really loved the cabin, location, and cleanliness, and will definitely come back here.

The cabin was wonderful. The location of it was perfect, however I would start to mention in the description of this place, the driveway to the cabin. It is very difficult to get into, and had we not had a 4x4 vehicle it would be hard to maneuver around. Also, large vehicles may have a hard time getting in and out of the area that this cabin is located in. It's hard to turn your vehicle around or back out of when leaving the cabin. Otherwise, it was a beautiful cabin, and we had a great time. Our kids loved playing pool.

If your looking for a place to get away from everything this is it!!! I loved that there was no satelite or tv only movies if you wanted to watch something!! You could sit in front of the fire and just relax. It was the most peaceful trip I have evertaken! Perfect for a couple get away. I don't think it is a good place if your taking the kids but for that weekend trip for just the two of you PERFECT!!!! and if you need time by yourself they even provided fishing poles and tackle for the pond down the hill!!!I would definetly go back!

After checking in at the office and driving to the cabin I couldn't get the door to open with the security code I was given so after trying for about 10 minutes I called the 24hr. emergency number as the office had closed when I tried that number and I got a call back fairly quickly and found out that I was given the wrong code and I was given the correct code and the person remained on the line with me to make sure that I was able to get the door open.
Overall I was very pleased with the cabin it was clean although one of the doors for the laundry closet was falling off the slider and had to stay open otherwise everything else was fine.
The only drawback was it's location as the traffic on the hardsurface road was a little annoying when sitting on the back porch and you could hear all the cars and dumptrucks, etc. passing.
I will definately try to choose another location next time that is a little more remote.

We had a great stay celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. The cabin was a perfect fit and it had all of the amenities we were looking for in a cabin in the woods; very private but not far from the main drag. This was our second stay with "Great Cabins In The Smokies" and both were super. We are already looking forward to our next trip.

I enjoyed this cabin's seclusion and room. There was plenty of room for two people. The only thing I had an issue with was the satelite tv. The signal was very, very poor and if it had not been for movies left at the cabin, there would have been no tv veiwing.

This was the first time that my wife and I had stayed in a cabin before. It truly exceeded everyone of our expectations. From the moment turn onto your road that your cabin is in, you immediately feel secluded. With beautiful trees as your landscape, our cabin was secluded and we truly felt alone in the majestic forest.
As you walk into your cabin, the decorations just add to the already perfect atmosphere. Each room is decorated to aid the guests in their experience. This cabin was ideal for a couple for a weekend get-away.
We would recommend this cabin to all of our friends. In fact, we plan on staying here again in the near future.

The cabin was more cozy and comfortable than my actual home, PLUS it had a beautiful secluded mountainside location. Driving around the area we found all sorts of exciting things to do from hiking to shopping to mini golfing. I recommend that you make good use of the trails through the smoky mountain national park. The views are breathtaking, the climbs exhilarating, and the landscape pristine and surreal. Coming home from a long day of hiking it was amazing to have a big flatscreen TV next to the warm fireplace, and then to be able to take a dip in the hot tub before bed. This cabin if phenomenal and I promise you that you will have more fun here than you could imagine. The people renting the cabin were super friendly as well!

I really enjoyed the Snuggled Inn cabin. The cabin was a perfect getaway for leaving the busy city life and relaxing in the woods. The unit was clean and well furnished and the hot tub was awesome. The only suggestion I would make is to drive a front wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle to this unit as the hill is steep and would be difficult in bad or wet weather. Otherwise it was a great weekend. I plan on reserving this unit again soon....hopefully this year if possible.

It was the first time the whole family was able to go on vacation together. There was plenty of room for the two boys on the sofa bed,my husband and I in the one bedroom. Even the dogs had room for their dog beds! The pond swim for them near the cabin and walk for us was a treat every morning before heading out to the daily adventures we had planned. The only problem we had was with the satellite T.V.would come and go and you needed a password to get certain channels. It rained almost every evening, so the boys wanted to watch some T.V. they loved the pool table and quiet area. Close to everything we were doing, Dollywood, floating down the river, biking, going out to eat, etc..
