My family and me loved the resort and the cabin. we were there march 25th thru 30th and the kitchen I was impressed by how many dishes and anything you needed was there even a crock pot a lot of cabins in the past did not have this type of stuff we really did not bring anything. The boys my son and his friend Zach stayed up stairs in the loft and had a great time playing pool and checkers and they even got in the hot tub once even though it was snowing. I would stay here again they had everything for the kids like miniature golf and fishing ponds and basketball and volleyball courts it was great for them. The cabin was clean and big enough for all four of us.I also got my prayer answered and saw snow and the kids played in the snow we are from Florida so me and th e two boys never has seen it before it was beautiful.

We are frequent visitors to Little Valley. We love to come and enjoy the fishing, putt putt and pool without having to leave the resort. We stayed at almost Heaven for Father's Day Weekend in 2012. It was a great cabin and close enough to walk to the ponds, pool, etc. The only drawback was all te stairs to bring up luggage and groceries...but we all needed the execise! It was a great visit.

I have stayed at Little Valley Mountain Resort every year for quite some time now. Always enjoy my stay and staff very friendly and helpful. However this time when we went to our cabin it had not been cleaned from the last people that stayed there. They had somehow overlooked it and didnt clean it up. They sent someone up to clean it right away and did a great job but. It ruined my plans for that first day as we sat out on the front porch for an hour and a half while they cleaned it. They did a great job but really upset they didnt offer us anything in return for this mistake or even a discount. The only thing that wasnt good and clean was the hot tub. They cleaned it with new filter and water but the hot tub itself had a rusty ring and it was gross. Other than that I always enjoy my stay. Just disappointed a little this time around.

It was wonderful except for the water pressure. If someone was taking a shower you could not flush the toilet or you would not have water. Also, it said that ther would be a TV in both bedrooms and there wasn't.

We had a great time the whole place was beautiful. Everything well cared for. Our only complaint the pool closes to early. After a day out in Pigeon Forge or being at Dollywood all day it would be nice to relax in the cool swimming pool.

I had a good time and the location was great. My two problems for this area was the boasting of 4 fishing ponds that are stocked 4 times a year and yet we only caught 1 fish in the smallest pond. If "stocked fishing ponds" is going to be on the website please stock them. My second problem was ants. On our second morning we woke to ants moving around the sink and counter area. I understand that this will happen but, I feel that it is a garbage problem and when the garbage can not be put in the cans overnight because of larger animals ants are more than likely to show up.

We stayed with another couple for almost a week at the end of May. It happened to be raining most of the week, so we really enjoyed the games, pool table, and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the cabin was a short walk to the pool and mini-golf area. It was also only located about 5-10 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, where all the "touristy" attractions are. We all had a very nice stay and the cabin was perfect size for two couples. We look foreward to coming back!

The cabin was clean and offered a great break. We loved just kicking back and relaxing, grilling hotdogs and making smores. Our teen ager loved playing pool. The fireplace was a nice touch on crispy, cool spring mornings. The surroundings were beautiful. We just wish the fishing had been better.

Almost Heaven was a wonderful cabin for us! My husband and I took a vacation alone after 37 years of marriage. We'd always gone to see family or had kids with us. This time it was just the two of us. What a great time we had. The cabin was comfortable and peaceful. The trees were just starting to bud and the weather warmed up as the week progressed.
We enjoyed going to shows in Pigeon Forge, driving and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, eating at Apple Barn, shopping everywhere, going through the Tuckaleechee Caverns! And, we were only there one week! :)
The staff at Little Valley was very friendly and helpful. We had no problems and would like to go back again someday. -

The cabin needed a little updating. The mattress in the back bedroom on the 1st floor was horrible - was way past due on being replaced. The pool table was in pretty bad shape although the kids still had a great time with it even though we only had 2 cues that were usuable. Could have been cleaner for the extra fee we had to pay for cleaning service....tub wasn't clean (we cleaned ourselves) and windows and blinds were needing a good cleaning.

I thought the kitchen could have been a little bigger, not very many pots & pans, I actually went to walmart to buy a big pot with lid to cook with. can opener was useless. I think it was a little expensive, for no bigger than the cabin was. Pool table was crappy, I have a better one in my garage at home. The Hot Tub was nice & the Jucuzzi was awesome. I did like the cabin being private, no one real close. Drive way could have been just a little bigger. Would I stay in that cabin again? No.We made the best of it.

THE CABIN IS FANTASTIC. VERY QUIET, HAS EVERY THING EQUIPPED THAT YOU WOULD EVER NEED. THE ONLY PROBLEM WE HAD WAS THE ODOR OF THE WATER WHEN YOU SHOWER, WHICH WE REALIZE IT IS SPRING WATER AND THE MATTRESS ON THE KING BED UP ON THE LOFT NEEDS REPLACED.
WE WILL BE BACK NEXT YEAR.

cabin was very clean and had all the amenities that you could ask for. family enjoyed fishing ponds. . one thing that it lacked was views from cabin. it was nice and relaxing, quiet.and easily acessilble.

We enjoyed the home very much. Found it quite rexaling and all neccesities needed. We couldn't find any pillow cases for the pillows when we used the fold out bed....and we were short towels, but got some from the office. The people at the office were excellent! Very helpful. My husband has COPD and I have bad knees and we found it hard walking the steps to the cabin....in fact it was raining and my son fell coming down the steps. I would reccomend mor safety strips on the wood since it is so steep. Other than that it was a wonderful stay!

We stayed in Almost Heaven approximately 6-7 years earlier and loved it then. We have been back to the mountains several times but stayed at different places. When we were able to return in December, 2008, we really wanted to go back to Almost Heaven.
We were really disapointed in the cabin this time. It did not appear that it is being kept up very well. It was not as clean as we would have liked. The bedspreads and pillow shams are very worn and almost dirty looking.
The last time we were there, there was a very plush mattress topper on the bed upstairs. This was gone and the bed is extremely hard.
We will not stay in Almost Heaven on our next visit.

The cabin was beautiful, but I did have some issues, the hot water, never was really hot, talked to office about this. THe hot tub after paying $ 80.00 for cleaning had green slime on the edges inside. The bathroom with the jacuzzi stayed cool all the time, and when I turned the water to fill the jacuzzi, the water stayed cool, and when I turned the jets on there was trash or something floating everywhere in the water. If these issues were fixed this would be a beautiful cabin for a couple to stay in. I just guess this was not my weekend.

The only problem that we had with our stay at the cabin was that we couldn't stay longer, in fact we did stay one day longer!! We found it was very clean and comfortable. We both are football fans so we pretty much stayed there the whole Saturday and watched football and grilled out. I also was so excited that we could hook up to the internet. We will for sure rent again in the future!!

It was my 30th Birthday weekend and we were thinking of visiting St. Louis, Eureka Springs or Branson in Missouri. Well at the last minute I thought about Gatlinburg because we passed through there when I was younger and I thought it was the most beautiful place. So, at the last minute on Google I found this wonderful cabin. It was the best weekend we've ever had. The view was unbelievable & our cabin felt just like home. We have even been talking about trying to buy one in the area. The location was perfect and there were many amenities to enjoy. We wish we could have stayed longer, but had to get back to work. Thanks for the wonderful experience and you will see us in the near future. Thanks for helping me celebrate my 30th birthday and making it the best one yet. God Bless.

For a second year in a row, Little Valley Mountain Resort has provided us with an unimaginable stay. Last year my wife and I vowed to make this a yearly trip and there's no reason not to come back next year. The seclusion at your cabin is fantastic. The friendly and professional staff makes the first impression and they deserve a raise! haha. Just minutes away from downtown it's a place to check out at least once! My wife and I are trying to make a family trip for everyone next year.

Very nice cabin, as well as the added attractions of heated pool and putt-putt course. The location was very handy to Pigeon Forge activities and Cades Cove. The only suggestion I have is that the owners reconsider the $75 cleaning fee which is automatically added to the cost, and the reservation fee. Larry Gross

This has been our second marriage my husband's and mine and we have been married now 7 years. The cabins are always kept up great, the trees are beautiful , its quite and private and we will come by year after year. Its tradition.
