We had a great time! Most of our children are grown and on their own. This getaway allowed us to celebrate Christmas together the weekend before Christmas and still allowed for busy work schedules. All of our children have asked to make this an annual event. The cabin was awesome! The pool table, jacuzzi, and board games kept everyone busy and satisfied! We will be back!

Had a great time with family over thanksgiving which was the main point, but disappointed in the cabin. The cabin's lower floor was so cold; I had to buy an extra heater. Family members who stayed down there still got sick from the cold. There weren't enough blankets on any floor, sheets and bedding were poor quality and seriously stained. The Tv's need serious updates. The costs charged per night averaged to 440.00 once cleaning, taxes and fees averaged in. Compared to what I can normally get for 440.00 per night, this wasn't good at all. Won't rent it again.
Location was good as always. We routinely take family to the mountains and enjoy East Tn. We just won't use this cabin and won't do it in the winter, at least not with this place.
Fire wood is left open to elements and uncovered. Really ridiculous and made it impossible to use. Had to buy my own to start. Rained before we got there and during so fire wood was soaked and useless. We moved some to porch to dry and used at end of the stay. Shouldn't have to do that for the prices charged and for the easy fix. One small trash can outside for a large cabin also is inadequate.
All the comments I have made have already been written in the guest book but many others who have stayed there. Obviously no one is quick to neither fix nor address the issues. Could be a top notch place, but isn't.
Not up to par

After spending almost $900.00 for a 2 night stay, we expected more that what we received. We have stayed at this resort twice before and we were totally satisfied, but not this time. First of all, we caught 4 scorpions in the downstairs bath. Not a pleasant experience. The bed frame on the bed in the 2nd floor bedroom was broken, which made for very uncomfortable sleeping. The coffee maker was extremely slow. It took 20+ minutes to make a pot of coffee. I started the pot, drove 5 miles to the nearest store for a newspaper, and drove back and still had to wait for the coffee maker to finish. There were no coffee filters in the cabin, which also made making a pot of coffee difficult. I was told that they do not provide filters and that it was our responsibility to bring our own. That would be fine if we knew what type the maker used. (Cone or basket ). Things might have been OK if maintenance was available 7 days a week, unfortunately, they only work Monday through Friday, so weekend guests are out of luck. Upon checkout, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the clerk, but all I received was excuses, or a no response at all. It wasn't all bad. I did receive 2 refrigerator magnets and 2 postcards as my parting gifts. The only reason we stayed at this resort this year was it was pet friendly and we had to bring our dog. That was the one plus of the trip.

A wonderful family getaway! All nine of us plus my grand dog had a fantastic time. Second time at Little Valley and can't wait to go back again!
Nice but needing attention.

We have been coming to Little Valley Mountain Resort for about 12 years. We think this is an excellent place to stay when coming to Tennessee. Amy's Mountain Chateau was probably our least favorite cabin of all we have stayed in due to some needed repair and upkeep. There was only a very small TV in the living quarters and also limited seating. The stove in the kitchen was in need of proper sized burner pans and not very well stocked. The hot tub could not be used and there were bats in the attic space above the upstairs bedroom. That made it very difficult to get a good night of sleep. We reported this to the office 2 days prior to our check out and no one came to check on it or to correct the problem. I am assuming the bats are still there. We were disappointed because this didn't seem to be up to the standards that we have experienced with Little Valley. However, we will be back just not in this cabin.

We were very pleased with our stay. The cabin was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. I liked how the cabins were situated because you get privacy without isolation. Also, we have five children and there was plenty of room for all of us. It was a wonderful vacation!

This was the first time in several years we had been able to get away with all our family . We had a wonderful time it was so peaceful and the view was beautiful.. I enjoyed just sitting on the porch. The only problem with the cabin was the small tvs and the Jacuzz was not cleaned and had no chemicals . The one thing I didn't like was not having a bathroom separate from the bedrooms. Overall we enjoyed our time , and it is very close to all attractions.

Amy's Mountain Chateau is a pet-friendly cabin. I brought my dog and she had a blast. It was a beautiful cabin inside and out, more than I expected. There were a few glitches that were very minor such as the air hockey table had a piece that was broken, and we had a wasp nest somewhere that was allowing wasps into the loft area. We found them right away and called maintenance. They were there in 10 minutes and took care of the whole thing plus they left a new can of wasp spray just in case. We never had another problem. The hot tub worked like a charm and the pool table kept us entertained many evenings. We had 6 adults and 1 child and 1 dog stay with us and we were all comfortable. We took time one day to brig our dog down to the stream and she played for an hour. The resort has to be one of the best resorts in the area. I say this because it seemed to be one of the few that didn't have cabins packed in like a cookie cutter neighborhood. I rated this 4 stars because I know that since we were in a pet-friendly cabin, that we didn't have the ultimate experience. I'm sure the other cabins are even more fabulous than ours was.

Excellent place! Amy's Chateu was beautiful, great location on top of the ridge. Kids loved hot tub and pool table. They also liked having the bunk beds and additional bedroom downstairs, kids felt like they were living on their own.

We have stayed with Little Valley many times in the past but this year our family had a wonderful time because we able to use quite a few amenities plus my brother and fiancee were able to get married in the gorgeous chapel that Little Mountain provided. Thanks for everything and will be going back again.

I'm just putting the issues. This is our 5th time at Lvmr. Stayed at 4 different cabins. Will not stay here again. First, cabin sleeps 8+ people (we had 6) and only 3 wash clothes! Bottom floor is way to crowded; get rid of the air hockey table. There was a bad odor in the midlevel bathroom. The hot tub was green and dirty. The kitchen is way too small for that size house and that many people to stay there. Then, our neighbors liked to have parties with little kids who ran around outside screaming and yelling til late. Not peaceful in the evenings like we hoped.
Five Stars all the way!

This is the perfect cabin & location for a wide range of family members like ours. Kids love the downstairs (bunk beds/big TV/air hockey/hot tub); Adults love the upstairs (pool table/master suite/private deck, jacuzzi tub); Seniors love the main floor (2nd master suite/everything on 1 level) - comfortable for everyone. Plenty of room to share meals and play games, close to all our favorite spots (Splash Country, AppleBarn, Putt-Putt, onsite pool, etc) but in a quiet resort area that feels like it's on a secluded mountain. There's no end to the choices of activities - we didn't have time for all of them. This cabin is immaculate, well-stocked, comfortable and the staff is #1. Cabin decor is beautiful. Woke up to a serene view every day. Thank you for making our time with family care-free. We're telling everyone we know about this cabin and resort. Loved every minute!

Everyone at Litle valley was very nice and helpful. The home was beautiful. Very clean and we had more than enough room. The only problem was the downstair bedrooms were very cold and the sulfur smell in the water was very strong. We should have brought more dish soap and there wasn't anything to scrub the dishes and pans with. We will know better next time. The location was perfect. We were close enough to town to enjoy it but at the same time far enough away to feel peaceful. We would definitely stay at Little Valley again.

We spent 5 days at Amy's Mountain Chateau with another family. Eight of us in all 4 adults, 3 teens, and an 10 yr. old. I couldn't recommend this cabin enough. It had everything you could possible want.(A sauce pan is the only thing that we missed while we were we there). We fixed all our meals but 2 or 3 at the cabin. We grilled out every night.
What a view! Amazing. Loved all of the outdoors furniture. Rockers on all levels, a swing and picnic table. Oh and the hot tub was wonderful. Everyone enjoyed it. Kids never said that they were bored. Pool table was nice. The air hockey and playstation was also enjoyed. One comment was made about the little TV in the living room but it wasn't watched much. Big screen in the Den was were the kids watched and played. We even built a fire one morning it was so nice to sit around the fire.
What we viewed online on the website in the pictures was what we found when we got there. It was wonderful.
I would definely recommend this cabin to anyone that I know. Some friends of our went the weekend before and asked where we was staying and they went online and booked a smaller cabin with the same company and they were very pleased with there cabin too. If you use more than one towel for a bath or if you use the hot tub a lot you should bring extra towels. But they have a washer and dryer so we just washed and dryed the towels.
Great experience will go back again!!

My husband and I found little valley a few years ago. I stayed there on a girls weekend .I fell in love we have been in many cabins this one great but did,nt have Internet and we love to bring our computers. It has lots of space and is in a great setting. The water leaves a lot to be desired its sulfur smell was bad.If you can get past this the place is great.
