Would not stay here again the water smelled so bad even after letting it run for awhile, we had to go purchase extra bottled water which was an inconvenience. The lighting was very poor in the billiard room. We did enjoy the wood burning fireplace.

      Needs maintenance

Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in February 2013

We arrived late, found check in easy after hours. The cabin itself however was another story it was a narrow road with lots of sharp curves on a mountain without guard rails snow covered :(.We were advised it was private however we had a cabin on the side that could look in the bedroom window and another at the entrance that could view the hottub area along with living area. My child has an extreme allergy to dust so the first three hours I cleaned cob webs and dust, what I could reach. I have a hard time believing the ceilings (right above your head in the king bedroom) had been cleaned since the cabins establishment. The bathrooms however were spotless. The bed mattress was horrific broken down and needs replaced. Linens were clean. The staff was exceptionally nice although their idea of private and mine were different. The pool table was unstable and had wash clothes under the legs?. I was not impressed. We travel at least 1-2 times a month. I'm sorry to say Falcons View made my do not use again list :(. The view was amazing :) I won't say all was bad here the cabin had its positives but I will say at this point the cabins negatives out weigh them, nothing a little cleaning and maintenance couldn't fix.

We really did enjoy our stay as we come to that area about 4-6 times a year. This is the first time staying with Little Valley and we will be back no doubt. As far as the cabin it does have a great view and the snow and all made it that much better. The cabin itself needs a little cleaning of the cob webbs / dusting and maybe a qucick walk thru to make sure that everything is in working condition i.e., lights, tv's (upstairs tv would not work) fireplace tools broke. The layout was very nice for a one bedroom. The kitchen was very nice and had all of the necessary items unlike some other places we have stayed in the past. Make sure you get some dry firewood placed inside before coming or bring your own for a day or so as there is no wood box to keep the wood outside dry. This was a lesson learned as the storm knocked out power for a bit and it took a while for the cabin to heat back up. We could not use the fireplace as the wood was wet from the storm. All in all you will love the setting and the staff was above the rest. As I said in the beginning we will be back.

Getting up and down the driveway was not an easy task, especially if someone is staying in the cabin next door. On first impression the cabin looked clean but once you are there for awhile you start notice how dirty it actually is. There were cobwebs and dust everywhere! The cleaning crew actually had the nerve to leave an envelope for tips! Heres a tip "learn how to clean properly ". The cabin itself was nice with a good view from the deck, the beds were comfortable . I would stay at little Valley again but not in this cabin, I don't think my Saturn Outlook can handle that driveway again.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The view was excellent. When we got there the cabin was very cozy to come into. Night time was very quite. I gave the location a 4 star b/c the cabin next to us was alittle to close in my opinion and the driveway was fairly steep. The staff was very friendly in answering our questions. Price is very reasonable. We will be planning on returning in the future.

I have rented 7 different cabins from Little valley and this was by fare the dirtiest cabin we have stayed in cobwebs everywhere the floor were so dirty they made you feet black. the upstairs carpet was filthy and smell of urine. The place look like they ran out of paint and just quit where they did. The windows were foggy with dirt. The hot tub almost had enough power to move the water. Was my last trip to this place. They do not even reconize the fact that you are a return customer. Bye bye little valley.

Probably ruined our honeymoon. There were spiders and spider webs everywhere, along wtih several large dead moths. When you turned on the water, it smelled like sulphur.. and when we turned on the jets in the jacuzzi, black worms came out. It was disgusting. I definitely would not recommend this cabin to anyone. We left 2 days before we were supposed to check out.

      Great time!

Left on 06/11/2011 for a stay in June 2011

The staff was very helpful and pleasant. They provided info on places to visit as well as maps. The cabin was nice and clean (with the exception of the ceiling fan). The loft was a little hot, however there was a heat wave on the east coast. The view was nice but there were no rocking chairs as shown in the photo, only a porch swing. The road leading to the cabin is in need of repair (potholes and very narrow) and the driveway to the cabin is very steep which they do not show in the on-line photos. I was disappointed w/the size of the yard, it looks much bigger in the photo. The next time I book I will definitely book to the left of the reservation cabin as the roads are much, much better. The cabin was well supplied w/towels, soap, kitchen items, trash bags, etc. We loved the quietness of the area and the location of Little Mtn Valley is great for easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and other area attractions. One suggestion - it would be nice if the resort would supply a map of the cabins locations before you book. We had a great time and plan to visit again in the future.

      Overall good time...

Left on 05/18/2011 for a stay in April 2011

Our stay at Falcon's View was very nice. The only complaint I have was that when we arrived our cabin was not available and it was after the check in time. We arrived at 4:10 and our cabin wasn't ready until 5:30. The cabin itself was adequate for what we needed it for. I had two concerns one was the the screens were missing in some of the windows including the one upstairs, so we were unable to enjoy the fresh mountain air; and the other thing was that the cabin had some major dirt on the ceiling fans and some dust bunnies in the upper corners. Granite these aren't easily accessable to clean, but it was definetely time to do some spring cleaning on those areas. Overall our stay was nice and pleasent probably will stay again.

Nice Place but Expected a Bit More for the Money

Left on 12/09/2010 for a stay in November 2010

Dishes were not clean when placed in cupboard. The most logical reason is a poor dishwasher. Soap (including dish soap) and shampoo are very subpar. We're probably talking pennies to upgrade a little. There were cobwebs spanning the beams. We were charged a lot of money for cleaning and additional pet cleaning fees and I did not appreciate the request for a gratuity on top of the half-hour it was likely to take to clean this small cabin.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in October... just to get away for a couple of days. The resort was easy to find... The staff was really friendly. This particular cabin was pretty high up the mountain, which we loved! It smelled very clean when we went inside... I loved everything about it except that the upstairs was carpeted. My dog could smell the other dogs on the carpet and was constantly sniffing around. I had to keep her downstairs. The charcoal grill and the fireplace were great! The hottub was cold when we first checked in, but they had just changed the water, so it was up to 104 degrees after a couple of hours and it was fabulous! Very private... Awesome mountain view! We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Little Valley. If I had to pick again, I would choose a cabin with a washer/dryer. We travel on a motorcycle and have very little room for lots of extra clothes and would need laundry facilities. Also, the upstairs bathroom had not been cleaned well since I found hair on the floor soon after our arrival that did not match mine or my husbands. Overall the cabin was nice and we enjoyed our stay. I would not have billed this cabin as having 2 bathrooms though. It had one and a half.

This is the fifth time, I've stayed at Little Valley. The last two times, we visited Pet Friendly Cabins. The most recent was Falcon's View. Had another great experience and will be back in the fall. Falcon View doesn't have a washer & dryer so would probably elect another cabin for longer stays. I've taken friends and family and everyone fell in love with Little Vallely. It allows you the beauty of the mountains with a short drive to all the tourist stuff you can handle. The view from Clingman's Dome is a must see. Nights in the hot tub or in front of the fire with something yummy cooking are my favorite.

This was a wonderful get-a-way. The drive through the Western Smokey's, through Gatlinburg, into Pigeon Forge was our first visit to this area. After a short drive around the Forge, we checked in climbed the hill to our cabin. It was clean, fresh and ready to occupy. Although we had to contend with rain for three day, the cabin was all we'd hoped for and had all the amenities advertised. Although pretty cool, we enjoyed the hot tub on the back porch in spite of the cold. Lots of fun. If you're looking for that special, secluded get-a-way, this is what you're looking for. Be careful selecting your dates because the climb to the cabin with ice and snow on the ground would be treacherous at best. Four star experience.
