      Wonderful vacation!

Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in December 2012

We have stayed with Little Valley Mountain Resort numerous times and once again we had a wonderful experience with them. We stayed in Honey Haven this time and the cabin was beautiful and so clean! We were lucky enough to get some snow while there and really enjoyed the backyard area of the cabin! We enjoyed fishing the ponds and caught quite a few fish! The resort is in a wonderful location, private, but yet close to any shopping or attractions that you might want to do! We will definitely stay with Little Valley Mountain Resort again!

      Unexpected/Unwelcome Changes to our Cabin

Left on 12/20/2012 for a stay in December 2012

This was the fourth time we booked this particular cabin and we book it for one reason - the pool table in the loft. Unfortunately, unknown to us, the cabin changed hands right before we arrived and the new owner added bunk beds to the loft area...making it impossible to play a decent game of pool. Moral to the story - if there is a particular reason you book a certain cabin - call before you book it (or before you go) to make sure you are getting what you expected. We were also dismayed that the folks in the management office didn't seem to think it was any big deal and just kind of laughed us off, when we discovered the changes. Other than that - the cabin was clean as a whistle.

      Heavenly!

Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in July 2011

Our family absolutely loved Goldilocks' Hideaway and plan to return hopefully sometime soon! The home was very clean and well kept and offered full appliances to keep our expenses at the minimum. It was located in a private setting among the trees and it was pure bliss to sit in the swing and just enjoy the peacefulness of nature. The kids could walk to the ponds to fish and the swimming pool wasn't far either. Everyone we met were helpful and polite and it was nice being within a few minutes of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I would give our entire stay an a+.

It was a very nice place for the kids

Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in May 2011

I love the cabin my whole family had a great time. There was alot of dufferant thing to so we didnt have to leave the area to find things to do. We did have a visiter every night on the pourch i like maybe a racoon but never bothered much. The only thing i did not like was there was a family that stayed below us that had a dogs and they barked all night long i dont think they ever stopped.

Everything good except for wasps and pool

Left on 05/12/2011 for a stay in April 2011

Cabin was very nice and clean and plenty of room for the three of us. Only two complaints: (1) wasps were nesting all around cabin and getting inside; and (2) pool was cold and filthy so totally unuseable.

      Relaxing, Entertaining, and Centrally Located

Left on 11/20/2010 for a stay in October 2010

Goldilocks Hideaway is neatly tucked away on the mountainside and blended into the forest. The staff was courteous and attended to each request promptly. They were very knowledgeable of the area regarding attractions and the best route to get there.

      Nice and Clean Cabin

Left on 04/23/2009 for a stay in December 2008

We decided last minute to go and do something different for Christmas this year. Went on line after looking continously at cabin places. We looked you over and the names of the cabins was interesting. So we decided to choose your resort because of the ponds and where you were located. Cabin was very clean and beds were comfy. Enjoyed the pool table. It was close to everything that we had on our agenda and it was nice to come home to a cabin instead of a hotel room. We recommended this to all our friends. We will stay here again if we decide to visit in the future. We love the outdoors. It was a wonderful trip. Thanks for having such a great resort.

      Privacy Getaway

Left on 11/06/2008 for a stay in August 2008

This cabin was very neat and clean. It was roomy and perfect for couple or family of four to five. It is up on a hill, but has a lot of privacy and surrounded by trees. The people were very friendly and very eager to help when asked a question. I would return to this cabin again if needed again. The location is close enough to the main road and very accesible to most shopping and good places.

Cabin was comfortable and private, loved the pool table

Left on 11/06/2008 for a stay in October 2008

The Cabin was beautiful and comfortable, it was private, and I loved that aspect of it. What I hated about this experience was that the resort had listed on the website that there were four ponds, FULLY stocked. My dad goes to fully stocked ponds all the time and catches all kinds of fish, at this resort, we stayed four days, and caught nothing. My Dad shops at Bass Pro and buys all the best fishing equipment and has been fishing all his life...I know it's not his fishing skills. All the other fishermen that were there that weekend were also complaining about the SMALL ponds not being stocked too. Yeah, you can see some bluegill come up to the surface of the ponds, which look very thin and unhealthy I might add. The golf course was not even a real golf course, it was the crappiest thing I have ever seen. The putt putt wasn't the best thing ever, but was enjoyable. If you are wanting a vacation with fishing and golfing, don't go to little mountain valley resort...you won't get any enjoyment out of it. If you want to go there to stay in a nice, comfortable, private cabin....then hopefully you will be satisfied with that...
