I loved this cabin! The porch is wonderful for children and pets- you can close it off! My six y/o loved the play ground! I like to cook and this cabin had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Can't wait to go back- Hopefully this time my son will catch a fish!

Exquisite! This cabin met all my desired criteria including pet friendly! It looked exactly like the pictures, clean and comfortable! It was secluded, private and away from noise yet not a far drive from attractions. Plenty to do without leaving the resort: private fishing (license not needed), putt putt, golf, swimming pool, hiking, hot tub, pool table, ping pong table, darts, television in living room and bed rooms, fire place, grill and rocking chairs with a great view! Amenities like fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, starter supplies, supplies available on site, help a phone call away etc. There were so many places to choose from but I was extremely pleased with the choice I had made! It was the perfect selection and I can't wait to return!

Left on 03/31/2013 for a stay in September 2012
I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay at the cabin. I loved the peace and quiet and the view from the back porch was incredible. The view was so great it even made me a great photographer. I also loved that the cabin was isolated. If you looked really hard you could see a little bit of the cabin to the left and another cabin down below. There was a cabin you could easily see on the right but only from the kitchen window or that side of the wrap around porch. But with 3 other porches to sit on, I never noticed it was there.
I had read previous reviews for the cabin so I knew the hot tub was not fully functional but I didn't care. However, if this is a must, I would not recommend this cabin but the entire resort area is gorgeous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. One other suggestion for the resort/cabin owners, it would be helpful to have a little light that shines on the cabin signs to make it easier for night arrivals to find their way and it would be super helpful to leave the porch light on for night arrivals.

FloridaBeautiful Cabin but needs improvements
Left on 03/30/2013 for a stay in March 2013
Although the cabin was beautiful there were a few disappointments with our stay. The photos on-line are a bit diseaving. We expected a much roomier cabin. But that was not the real issue. The major problem was that there was no water pressure. Taking a shower was near impossible.
Plenty of pans in the kithen but really could have used a skillet. The iron needs to be replaced.Could use a newer coffeemaker that doesn,t take all day to brew a pot of coffee. The size of the ping pong table gave us a good laugh...need new darts for the dartboard...and the room was too small for a pool table.
On the plus side. The beds were great. The furniture was comfortable. Liked the porch.

We have stayed at Little Valley Mountain Resort 6 times, but this was our first time in this cabin. This is our favorite cabin so far! The view is gorgeous! This cabin was immaculately clean upon our arrival. The staff at check and and check out were very friendly as always. This cabin sits at the end/start (depending how you look at it) of the hiking trail, so it was nice to be able to have a daily hike thru the woods right from our cabin. This cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed as far as kitchenware and appliances. The downstairs bed was very comfortable (we didn't use the upstairs bed). The pool table, dart board, ping pong table and numerous board games were nice to have on the day we got iced in from the ice storm. The hot tub is very roomy, and we loved the wrap around porch with outside door that locks for extra security. There is a reason we keep coming back to Little Valley Mountain Resort twice a year, and it's because of the staff and the wonderful cabins! We love this place!

Little Valley Mountain Resort was a breeze to work with before, during, and after my stay. This cabin was perfect for a weekend trip! At the end of a street it is very quiet and quaint. The view is amazing and the large porches and windows leave you completely satisfied with just staying in and enjoying the time right there in the cabin. Really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace also. Location was perfect, super quiet and peaceful and being just outside of Pigeon Forge & Sevierville you would never know you are minutes away from all the traffic and touristy spots. There is a Kroger on the main road which made grocery shopping super easy also! We can't wait to go back and spend a week!

This was our third stay at Little Valley. I always recommend it to our friends with kids, the activities for them can't be beat. My 3 boys love to fish and our daughter loves the golf and playground and fishing. Misty Moonlight is my favorite cabin so far. Up on a hill, next to a hiking trail for the kids and a view for me! Beautiful!!!
We've tried other resorts in the Pigeon Forge area but will always come back to Little Valley, prices are good, location is great and fun for all!! -

Incredible view. Nice furnishings. Very clean and neat. Pet friendly but smells fresh. Teenaged girls loved pool table. A bit surprised by the small ping pong table and not so much real golf course. Steep driveway and some gravel road that I would not like to have my car on. Overall good experience.

Left on 11/08/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We arrived after check-in time so picked up our keys and went straight to cabin. A bit shocked to see that the kitchen was not the pretty updated kitchen shown on-line. That was the big disappointment, but the cabin was good. When we got up the next morning, we had no internet. Two of us work from our computers, so this was a problem that was not resolved for two days. I will say the the staff was courteous. Cindy and Beth ann were so nice and helpful, both with the reservation process and getting problems solved. All in all, even with a couple of glitches, we loved Little Mountain Valley and it's staff and the cabin! We will definitely visit again and will definitely want Misty Moonlight!

This is our second time at Misty Moonlight and it definitely will not be our last! The cabin itself is superb, clean and comfy. We cherish the seclusion and peacefulness as it allows for total relaxation. The staff at Little Valley could not be better - friendly, professional and welcoming. This time around we were fortunate to see a lot of wildlife: a large flock of wild turkey right off our porch, a beautiful box turtle on the trail, a blue and black striped "Skink" (small lizard) on our deck and of course "Tony" the smaller (200-300lbs) black bear who came to visit us three separate times - so cute! The pool was clean and comfortable and the grounds and trails immaculate. We just love Misty Moonlight at Little Valley and wish we could return more often than once a year!

Four "girlfriends", all together for the first time in nearly 40 years! We planned a four day stay with plenty of day trips into Gatlinburg. We actually left the cabin one day only! We so enjoyed relaxing in the rockers on the porch, sipping iced tea and catching up with each other. This was my second stay, the first being with my husband several years ago. We are currently trying to organize a family get-together with our kids and grandkids...right there on that same porch in the mountains.

We liked the fact that there are lots of activites to do and since we brought our dog there was trails to hike which was nice.
On a down note we had some issues with the hot tub that we had to call about and who ever cleans the cabin left some kind of cleaning solution in the bathtub without rinsing it out which could have injurd my wife if I hadn't caught it before she got in. -

We had a wonderful stay at Misty Moonlight and would recommend it to anyone. The view was awesome and the cabin was extremely comfortable and private. Since my husband was just coming home from a year long deployment in Iraq, he wanted to do something that was relaxing...and that is just what our stay was. The cabin is secluded, but we were less than 10 minutes from all the eating and shopping. The cabin was well maintained and we loved the fact that the firewood was provided. Our two year and dog Dixie loved the hiking trail behind the cabin. We also appreciated that the wrap around porch could be closed off (there was a door to the porch from outside). This way I dog and son could play on the porch without worrying they would wander off . We had 4 adults and two children and there was plenty of room for everyone. We will definately be back to stay at Misty Moonlight!!!

Left on 11/09/2010 for a stay in October 2010
The original cabin we rented was Smoky Mountain Rain. It
was dirty with cobwebs in the corners. Then there was this
horrible smell which we later found out was a plumbing problem but we spent the first night of our much-needed vacation in misery. When I went to the office the next morning to complain, the lady acted as if she didn't believe me. They never offered to give us an extra night or any kind of discount for the terrible first night. The second cabin was much better but the hot tub controls were broken and didn't work right. -

Left on 01/13/2010 for a stay in December 2009
We rented this cabin for a girl's night. The cabin was cozy and had a beautiful
view. The Little Valley staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the decor
was nice but not overdone. Roomy bathrooms and comfy beds. The only issues
we had were with the kitchen. The door to the refrigerator would not close
unless the drawers were taken out and the microwave did not work. The oven
is small but that would only be an issue if you were cooking alot or for a
crowd. It was a little off the beaten path but not so much that you couldn't go
shop or eat with little trouble. The roads, even with snow the night before were
clear and safe. We'll use this resort again. -

Cabin's are always clean and well decorated. The views are AMAZING. We even had our very own raccoon that we shared wonderful memories with. Last year it was with Daisy. This is our third stay at Little Valley and our first at Misty Moonlight; we fell in love with this cabin. We visited with our son, daughter-in-law and two grand children. As always the staff is top notch. The sunset and sunrise from the deck is amazing. It?s so relaxing to sit on the deck with dinner and enjoy the peace and beauty.
The cabin had so much room, and fully stocked no need to leave for anything except more grapes for the raccoon that came for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The grand children had the best time, granddaughter is asking to go back to see Penelope the raccoon. We will definitely be back to visit Misty Moonlight.

Service was superb. Our grill had a bit of a problem, we called the desk and another one was brought to us within 15 minutes.
We have stayed at Misty Moonlight on six different trips out of the 8 times we have rented a cabin. Location is perfect, we love the view and the privacy. Privacy is very important to us because we come there to relax and enjoy the woods, birds and animals that come to the cabin to visit.
Really we don't use the pool or the minature golf but if we had children to intertain, we would.
We always cook breakfast and have coffee on the deck. It's just perfect for morning coffee. But perhaps the deck cd use a little TLC, it gets alot of use. And I just thought about something, the kitchen cd use a NEW teflon skillet. I always bring mine.
We always cook dinner on the grill. Perfect way to end up a beautiful day. WE LOVE MISTY! -

We had the most fabulous stay at the Misty Moonlight. My husband and I shared the cabin with his parents following a family wedding. We relaxed by a fire each night, thoroughly enjoyed the 2 hot tubs, and I have numerous pictures of the amazing views. The newlyweds stayed in a different cabin, but joined us for a home-cooked meal one night. I'm not sure where else grandmother and granddaughter would have played pool together! The cabin was beautifully appointed, clean, super comfortable, and anything we asked for was thoughtfully provided. I hope we may return some day, but I know we will always remember our stay.

the view on the porch was amazing. the cabin is beautiful inside and out, prettier than in the pictures. we definitely did alot of relaxing during our week at the cabin, thank goodness for the hot tubs, they sure helped.
bring extra towels if you plan on using the hot tubs alot, so they can dry for the next use.
there are bees and wasps flying around-especially during the afternoon hours and they are HUGE, so just watch out.
if you like coffee--the company that does the cleaning only leaves enough coffee and cream and sugar for 2 days (and there was only enough sugar and cream for 1-2 cups). so bring or buy some before you get there.
other than that-a great cabin to stay and enjoy, would recommend it to anyone. ENJOY. -
