The Morning Mist was very clean. Great location for fishing and putt-putt. My only complaint was the grass was about 2 feet tall around the pond and the back steps. The photos on this site are exactly what our cabin looked like. This cabin is right on the side of the road but we were not there doing their busy time of year. I slept in the loft my only complaint about is no bathroom which I understand it is a loft and it would be very expensive to install a bathroom. Bumble Bees love this cabin...lol

I read so many reviews of different places around the area and one of my big things was having actual privacy instead of every house/cabin being jammed next to one another. Morning Mist was exactly as described and everything from the people at the desk to the entire grounds was fantastic. I went for a nice hike around the grounds one day with my dog and was taking notes on other cabins to stay at next time. The location of Little Valley is perfect, too! It's just far enough away to not be right in the middle of things, but about a 7-8 drive from everything. I almost feel weird about giving it all 5 stars because I'm always weary when I see a review with no complaints, but that was just honestly how it was. The value is just incomparable.
Feel comfortable and confident about your pick if you go with Little Valley! As long as they stay true to their operation I experienced, they have a life-long customer in me! -

we had a good time there. ok for small kids but teenagers will get bored quick. nice resort not too far from pegion forge. golf course is not really a golf course, its more a larger putt putt. caught no fish while we were there, cabin was nice, but no strap on outside garbage cans and every morning we were cleaning up trash from raccoons. didn't receive our promised gift when we left either , they were out. over all it was a nice time, relaxing, and my wife and I enjoyed it.

We had a wonderful family trip. We have stayed at little valley Two times and plan on may more trips. Its nice to know that there is a place you can go that allows your dogs to join it on the fun. Our dogs are our kids. Where we go they go. Thank you little valley for making that possible. We also had fun fishing the ponds and playing mini- golf. Each cabin has plenty of privacy. Thats always a plus.

This resort made our stay so enjoyable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It was still close to all of the attractions, yet far enough away to feel like you were all alone. Just a wonderful vacation! When we come back, we will definitely be staying here! Highly Recommend this place to anyone!

We were really surprised when we got to morning mist and found it was so much nicer than described. We come to tenn 3-6 times a year.the only regret we have is that we didnt know about it 12 years ago! We have found our new home away from home...awesome place, highly recommended...the staff at little valley mtn were so friendly and helpful with everything.

This was a nice quiet Cabin with all the amenities we needed. The fireplace was great, the view was beautiful and the people in the office were very nice. The only thing was the firewood provided was damp so we had to go purchase our own. The cabin was clean and stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper, kitchen uteincils and paper towels

My husband and I have stayed at Little Valley 5 times, but this was our first stay in this cabin. We love this resort and I cannot say enough good things about it! Check in is always a breeze and staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved this cabin and the view overlooking the ponds and putt putt was beautiful, as the leaves were at peak color when we were there (the main reason we chose this cabin). We loved the convenience of being able to walk to the putt putt course, or to the ponds to fish. I gave this cabin only 4 stars for one reason - the bathroom mirrors, or lack thereof! The mirrors in the bathrooms are small accent mirrors, and they are mounted so high that anyone under 5'4" can't see in them. I am only 5'1" and had to stand on my tiptoes to be able to barely see. Both bathroom mirrors are the same, although the one in the upstairs bath is mounted a little lower. Anyone over 6' will have a hard time seeing as well and will have to bend down because the mirrors are so small. (Yes, they are really that small!) These mirrors really need to be replaced with standard bathroom mirrors! And there are no other mirrors in the cabin that you can use instead to apply makeup, etc. Also, a luggage rack (or two) would come in handy since there are no dresser drawers or anywhere else in the downstairs bedroom to put your luggage, other than on the floor. We would definitely stay at this cabin again if we know that the bathroom mirrors have been replaced. Everything else in the cabin is beautifully decorated. And as always, the cabin was immaculately clean upon our arrival.

My family stayed at Morning Mist during the July 4th week. Great location to be just far enough out from Pigeon Forge, to avoid the crowds. Cabin was clean and great location to the pool and putt-putt. Fishing was not very productive and several of the holes at the putt-putt need some attention. Check-in was incredibly fast. Will definitely stay here our next visit.

The cabin was clean and the staff were very helpful. The only complaint we had was the temperature of the cabin. The main level and the upstairs were fine, but the lowerlevel bedroom was freezing. We had to get an extra blanket from the front desk. We also could not get the fireplace to turn on.

The cabin was in a great location, being close to everything. Had very little parking area. The cabin had no dressers or closets to put your close in, had to live out of suitcases. No housekeeping for the 6 days we were there. Grill was extra small located by the road. The sofa looked nice until you sat on it and went to the floor, due to it being broken down. Had to wash skillet due to it being dirty with dried up egg in it.

This cabin was great. It was very clean and spacious. The master suite made you feel like you were at a luxury hotel. Plus, you could not beat the price. We had an amazing time at Little Valley Mountain. We were close to everything yet still felt like we were "far away" from it all. The only drawback about this cabin is that it is right next to the pool and check-in/out building so if you are looking for something really secluded it may not be right for you.

We were in Tennessee for our daughter's wedding and stayed at the Morning Mist cabin. It is a beautiful cabin. We got some great pictures of the couple on the stairs, from the loft balcony, in front of the fireplace downstairs and some cute ones of her in her wedding dress sitting in the heart shaped jacuzzi. It's a great place to stay. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!!!

We are glad that a co-worker told us about Little Valley Mountain Resort. Morning Mist was great. We really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony and taking in the view! It was really nice to come back to the cabin after being out for the day. It was like coming home...much better than coming back to a hotel room. If we make a return trip, we would definitely stay at Little Valley Mountain Resort again! Thanks for helping make our trip even more enjoyable!!

We stayed at this cabin with our family and friends. The cabin was beautiful, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The resort was well kept and the managers were friendly and helpful. We woke up to a beautiful snowfall, but they were sure to clear the roads in the resort so we would be able to get out. Can't say enough about the management and beautiful cabin. Will definitely return!

My trip in October 2010 was my 5th time to stay at Little Valley. I really enjoy the convenience to Pigeon Forge and Gsmnp...while enjoying the peace and quiet your resort provides.
I do wish you would begin a loyalty program for those of us who continue to stay at Little Valley.

we had great time . Quite peaceful. The only negative thing I could find is there paying wayyy to much for someone to clean. We found broken glass in carpet,( dog found) candy under bed, very dusty cobwebs in every room.

We loved Morning Mist. We chose it because it was so close to the fishing ponds as the men in our family love to fish. It was so convenient, but quiet also. There are only a couple things I would change. The parking area is a little tight for two vehicles and there are two bathrooms but only one has a shower, which having three teenagers was sometimes a challenge. However, those two things would not deter me from staying there again. We really enjoyed it! We love Little Valley!

We had a great vacation. We especially like how quiet and relaxed it was. The kids loved the pool, mini golf, playground and fishing. We loved that we didn't have to go anywhere else and that it was away from all the crowds of other places nearby.

The putt putt course needs some repairs, the hottub at our cabin dripped to the porch below the entire time. The water pressure is so low you can not use the jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. We called before we went to verify the pool was heated and open. It was open but not heated. It was still cool at night when we went in the 60's so the kids wanted to swim but the pool was freezing cold. The golf course mentioned is not playable at all. Even with all of the negatives our cabin was still very nice and comfortable. We had a good time and the staff was very nice. We would probably go back because we know things can not be perfect all the time.

The cabin was exactly as shown, the staff were great. We brought our "well over 30# "labs who were welcomed with us. Close enough to things to see or do yet far enough out to be peaceful. Cabins were not on top of each other like so many other places we looked at.
If I could improve anything - maybe more clothes space. Also Noel was great.. We will be back again. -

We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. My daughter who is nine caught her first fish, a little blue gill in the lake just below the cabin. The space was great, and my husband and I enjoyed our privacy in the master suite. I would highly recommend this cabin for any family.

My husband, son and I stayed in the Morning Mist for 4 night in March. The cabin was wonderful. It was clean and well kept and well stocked. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was also great because the three of us enjoyed spending time in there during the cold evenings. The grounds were also very pretty. Our six year old son loved playing putt-putt. It wasn't anything fancy but we still liked it. My husband was really looking forward to the fishing ponds and was disappointed that he didn't catch anything. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and I am sure we will go back again sometime!

We had a wonderful time. The weather was supposed to be awful the whole week, but it turned out nice a few days. The rainy days there was plenty to do at the cabin. We had a great time and we will definitly be going back hopefully next year. To me repeat business is the greatest complement you can give a place of business and I will definetly stay at this resort again. The staff was nice and helpful. The cabin was clean, and well equiped. I would recommend staying here to my freinds and family.

The cabin was very easy to get to from the office and was a great location for viewing the ponds and miniature golf. By bad luck, we happened to stay when the weather was still a little cold and damp and we knew that the pool would not be open but it didn't take away from the enjoying the cabin. The cabin was very clean, and tastefully decorated. The floor plan was different from the other cabin we stayed in (Honeysuckle Rose which we like very much also), but we were very happy that it was pet friendly because it is hard for us to leave our dog behind. Batteries in the main floor remote were low, I'm sure the staff would have helped us with that but it was minor. The biggest problem with Morning Mist was the noise of the hot tub at night. If you want a good nights sleep, grab the upstairs bedroom because that noise definitely kept us up. Also we never used the hot tub or fire place, too bad the price couldn't have been adjusted. The staff was great though.

Being a young family with a four year old and a two year old, having a cabin that is comfortable with room for the kids to roam is super important. This cabin was perfect for our family. It is located directly across from the playground and two ponds. The cabin is private but not secluded. It was very clean and the customer service was great. We did have issues with the internet connection in the cabin, but that was the only negative thing to report. Overall, it is a fabulous cabin and we will be renting it again!

Great home to stay in. Lots of large windows to see out of. Enjoyed the woodburning fireplace and the huge pile of furnished wood. Really neat lake below the cabin. Cabin easily accessible and nicely furnished. Loved the authenic Hudson Bay Blanket! Nice furniture!

We were very excited about staying at Little Mountain valley Resort. Because of the age of our children we liked the versatility of LMVR (pool, putt-putt, fishing ponds, mini golf course)We SPECIFICALLY chose a cabin called Mountain Meadows because of the following statement in the listing of the resort website: "PRIVATE WITH MOUNTAIN VIEWS OVERLOOKS CREEK and golf course. WALK TO THE PAR THREE GOLF COURSE, HEATED POOL, PUTT-PUTT AND FISHING PONDS RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES ARE ALL-INCLUSIVE." However, this was a complete misinterpretation of the location of the cabin. The only recreation within hiking (not walking) distance was the mini golf course. We were very disappointed and talked to the office at the resort immediately. We were told the website description only meant the golf course was in walking distance, not the other facilites. (You be the judge. I notice the description is the same as of 11/2008 even after they admitted it was "confusing") The office personnel were very nice but simply said the best they could do would be to offer us another cabin with the same owner. Guess what- coincidentally , the owner had another cabin that WAS located within walking distance of all 3 recreation activities BUT there was one small difference- the price. It would cost over $100 more for the few days we were staying. We paid the difference and moved to the Morning Mist cabin. The cabin itself was fine, just felt that we were misled by the description of Mountain Meadows. One other note- the stocked fishing pond was a complete waste of time. We were there 3 days and not one person caught a fish while we were there. My husband and others tried every imaginable bait- live,plastic, doughballs, beef jerkey...not one fish. In addition, the putt-putt golf course wasn't maintained- The grass carpet was in most places either coming up or wrinkled. Overall the stay was peaceful but not at all as described on their website. The office personnel were helpful, pool was nice (although I don't think it was heated as stated in the website), and the morning mist cabin was comfortable and roomy. But due to the misinformation from website and lack of grounds upkeep we were greatly disappointed and won't be back. Because of the issues listed above, I left a rating of 2 stars. By the way, I have never written a negative comment regarding any other vacation resort/cabin/condo.

Dear Jim, Mountain Meadows is about 50 yards or so to the Par three golf course and about 200 yards to the pool and ponds. I did notice that you originally booked your cabin online and chose a one bedroom cabin. When you were moved the cost of the cabin was more because it is a premium two bedroom.Our fishing ponds are stocked with bass,blue gill and catfish, The ponds are for family fun and we are sorry if you did not catch anything but we have had several guests with better luck.You were correct about the putt putt course in need of a little maintanance,this problem has since been taken care of.Thank you for your input.Staff at Little Valley Mountain Resort

The pictures made the cabin look a lot bigger than it actually was. But it was cozy. The grill was a joke. It was a welded box and not good for cooking much. The place was clean on the surface but not in detail. There were pubic hair on the top bed in the loft. My teens did not find that funny. Don't bother to fish unless you want tiny brim. For price and quality I would go elsewhere.

We had a wonderful time at Little Valley. This was the cleanest cabin we've stayed in. It was our first experience at Little Valley and we will be back. The activities to keep kids busy were great!! The fishing for the older kids, playground for the younger and the pool and mini-golf for all of them! Morning was perfect. We could sit on the deck and watch the older kids fish or golf. We all agreed, we'll be back!
