My family and I have book our vacations at Little Valley Mountain Resort multiple times. Every cabin we're rented has been spotless. That's a big plus for my wife and I. If you decide to rent your first cabin there, you'll be back. D.T.

Would do it all over again

Little valley mountain resort is a wonderful resort. Loved our cabin Snow Shoe. The cabin was just like the pictures and the view was awesome!! Everyone was exceptionally nice in the office when we had problems with our TV, and the maintence guys were there right away. Loved the fact we were able to take our pet. I would recommend the resort and Snow Shoe cabin to anyone planning to visit there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience! I have always wanted to go to the mountains at Christmas time. We were so blessed to be able to go this year as a family for the first time. We absolutely loved it! The Snowshoe Lodge was the perfect fit for our family and needs of my mom who has limited mobility. We will definitely be back. Very clean! We did have a little problem with ladybugs but not enough to keep us away!! There are always some type of critters in the mountains. That's just part of the experience. Staff were also great- very friendly and helpful.

      Great Summer Vacation

Left on 08/22/2011 for a stay in July 2011

We had a great time at the Snowshoe Lodge. We liked being the last cabin on the road, except with that we did run out of water. However, I have to say, within minutes of calling the front desk maintanence was there to work on the problem. Ralph was the maintanence guy who came a couple of times (this happened more then once) and was very knowledgable and very friendly. In the end seems the toilet was leaking and once the part was replaced we never ran out of water again. The cabin and all that is included is worth the money, we are definately glad we stayed!!!

This was my third trip to Little Valley Mtn. Resort and my second time at Snoeshoe Lodge cabin. It has a wonderful mountain view, pet friendly, location is great, and staff have always been extremely helpful and friendly. I have visited many properties in that area and Little Valley Mtn. Resort is my favorite.

Outstanding in every regard - a perfect stay! A ten all the way!

Left on 05/12/2011 for a stay in April 2011

We loved the Snowshoe lodge, and we love the Little Valley Mountain Resport, period. We had a problem with the water but that was fixed immediately (within minutes), the service was fantastic and the maintenance staff were polite, friendly and very capable. Everything about the cabin was wonderful, especially the view. We really hated to leave for our day trips because it was no nice in the cabin. This was our second trip and I would go back any time - it's a real value! Everyone in our party was "ooing and awing" from the first time they stepped in the door. Thanks for making it so enjoyable!

The cabin so so gorgeous up at the top of the mountain... Absolutely brethtaking... The reason for our trip was because my mother age 54 passed away april 2, 2010 and that was her favorite place. We enjoed the stay so much. The only thing was how compact it was. Not very open.

      Exactly what I needed!

Left on 03/15/2011 for a stay in February 2011

We arrived later than planned but found our keys in the after hours box with no problems, there were complete directions leading to our cabin. The cabin was great! We had plenty of wood for fires, the hot tub was running and clean. The setting was breath taking an very relaxing.
There was only one problem at the cabin but it did not effect our stay. At check out I told the office about the problem and the maintenance person left immediately to take care of the problem. I will definitely stay here again. I have already told co-workers and friends about Little River Valley.

Left on 12/02/2010 for a stay in November 2010

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. It was very comfortable. It was exactly like I expected it to be, very clean and just like the pictures on the website. Do not follow Mapquest directions! They will take you up a mountain on a gravel road and you'll think you are going to die! Thank God Cindy at Little Valley Mountain resorts talked us off that mountain and to their location. A Funny story to tell now, but at the time, not so funny!
All in all, we had a great experience with our friends. We drank coffee on the porch and rocked in the rocking chairs. One night we built a fire. Such a nice cabin!!

Stayed here with 6 adults and 1 child. Roomy and comfortable. On Monday night ran out of water. called night maintence and the man on the phone told my husband to go out to see if he could flip the pump. It took until 9am to get water that was taken from another cabin. When we called to have our trash removed they never came and the racoons had a picnic even trying to cover the trash cans. We took our trash down ourselves several times. When we checked out the lady in the office ran into another office and shut the door. I guess she didnot want to talk to us or take our concerns!!!

Ammenities Not true to shown and hype

Left on 06/15/2010 for a stay in May 2010

The cabin was average with some inconveniences. The living area is very small and cramped. The sun comes through the window and dining room table cannot be used with beaming sunlight. Bedrooms were spacious, bathroom in master room was large but with wasted space. Tiny shower, a huge tub, but no place to put your cosmetics. Raccoon's came up to the back door begging for food and also made a mess with the trash. The golf course is a joke, the putt putt golf is in terrible shape and not cared for. Fishing was fun and we caught some catfish. All in all it was an ok area not what is pictured or hyped about on the website.

      Great Family Christmas Trip!

Left on 01/21/2010 for a stay in December 2009

We chose a family trip instead of presents this year and it was a great decision! The staff was very friendly and helped in anyway needed. Along with the owner they made it a special treat for us. We couldn't have asked for more. Snowshoe was an awesome cabin with more than enough room for 4 adults, with beautiful views. It was very clean with comfortable beds and having the pool table and washer and dryer was nice. The trail next to the cabin made for a scenic, fun hike after the snow. A big flock of turkeys were frequent visitors. Loved being out of town but still close to everything. Our Christmas trip to Snowshoe will definitely be a memory we will cherish and we will be back! Thanks Little Valley! Dianne

Snowshoe Lodge was better than I expected!

Left on 01/13/2010 for a stay in December 2009

This was the first time in seven years that my family and I had taken a vacation together. We had a wonderful time and found the cabin to be the perfect place for a few days of leisure. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and a comfortable place to stay. We cooked several meals during our stay. The kitchen had everything we needed. To our surprise, wood for the fireplace was provided. We kept a cozy fire. There was an X Box 360 that the kids enjoyed. The hottub was nice after a long day. We were also surprised at the privacy we had. Being in a resort setting, we expected to have other cabins surrounding us. But we enjoyed much privacy. There are only a couple of things that I suggest. First, the cabin needs more blankets for the beds. We only had one thin blanket per bed. Secondly, more towels need to provided. When you have seven or eight people in a cabin, six towels is not adequate.

I have been to the Smoky Mountains five times in the last sixteen months. This was our first experience dealing with Little Valley Mountain Resort. I will not hesitate to reserve with this company and Snowshoe Lodge again.

It was my favorite vacation ever!! :)

Left on 08/24/2009 for a stay in July 2009

I had a very enjoyable time at my cabin. I stayed with 5 other people in my cabin and i had plenty of space and room. My cabin was the Snowshoe cabin. My family members and I loved playing pool and going in the hot tub. The rooms were very big, which I really liked. My family loved a bathroom in every bedroom that included a shower. The kitchen was clean and came in great use to us. The cable was great and xbox was fun. A little tip is maybe to update some of the xbox games and make sure the instruction pamphlet is with it so people can understand how to play the game. Now to the great outdoors of the cabins. The pool was pretty nice it could be a little more blue and I think it should go to like 6 or 7 feet deep. We didn't get a chance to go fishing and golf but we wanted to very much. I apreciated the kind workers in the office. They were all very helpful to any questions we asked. Me and my fellow family members and friends enjoyed the stay at Little Valley Mountain Resort!!!!

      10 Year Wedding Anniversary Getaway

Left on 11/06/2008 for a stay in September 2008

My wife and I arrived(child free!)at the Snowshoe Lodge to find a gorgeous log cabin with an incredible mountain view. The cabin was well maintained and the cleanliness unmatched. The wooded mountain setting was peaceful and quiet except for the crickets and other creatures of the night. We enjoyed late nights soaking in the hot tub on the back deck, and watching our favorite shows on television.

The staff was extremely professional and courteous. Our stay was great and helped to rekindle our relationship that often takes a back seat to our children and our jobs. It was the perfect way to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary.

We intend to return again with our children so they can enjoy everything the Great Smokey Mountains have to offer.

      My Memory

Left on 11/06/2008 for a stay in July 2008

When we arrived in the woods on top of a mountain. It just about took my breath away. I thought to myself I should of just came with my husband and then I came back to reality with 2 children, son-n-law, 2 sisiters-in-laws and my husband's mother. Any how it was just beautiful. We walked the trails, went hiking, sat in the hot tub every night and to top that off we sat and just looked out and talked about old times and how it was so nice to be there and how nice it would to come back again one day. We live here in a crazy hustle bustle town, it seems like you get up and it is time to go to bed again. If I could of just stayed longer but it would of been nice to of never left. Thanks again for the stay. The Hill Bunch
