It was another great stay here with Mountain Valley. Anytime I stay in a cabin it is with this company. They are truly professionals and will do anything to make your stay perfect. They are warm and welcome you in like family. I have never had a problem out of them and they have always been so nice to me and my family.

Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in August 2012
We liked everything about the cabin. Paul Lowrey, my husband wrote this:
We came, We saw and were conquered by the beauty and love of the land.
Home of the squirrel, the hare and the bear.
We have to leave now, but a part of our hearts we bequeath to the next ones who views the high hills and the valley's below.
My Goodness, we hate to go.

DaytonNice cabin
Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in July 2012
We stayed in a cabin for about a week on July 2012. The cabin was very nice and was easily accessible. The cabin was clean and well maintained. The amenities are not as they appear on the website. The pool is very small and you need to drive to it from most of the cabins. We did not fish, but others said that the pond was small and muddy. There was a major storm on the third last day of our vacation. Power was on all night, but went out the next morning after the storm. We called and were told they were working on it. Twelve hours later still no power. There were many cabins in the area that had power and were empty, but we were offered no options. No flashlights, bottled water etc. in cabin. We were expected to spend the last two days of our vacation in our cabin with no water, lights or air conditioning. We left early. There was no offer of a discount or even an apology. The power outage was 12 hours after the storm so it was not directly due to a storm. Since we lost two days and nights of vacation, we will not come back to this resort.

Left on 08/18/2011 for a stay in July 2011
My wife and I stayed in this cabin, and it is without a doubt the nicest cabin I have stayed in. We have been coming to the Smokies and stayed in Townsend, Gatlinburg or Sevierville for about 20 years. This was the best. The cabin is very nicely appointed. The hot tub and the back porch with nice chairs is excellent. The folks in the office were great and accomodating. Lots to do for a family. We highly recommend this cabin.

Location was nice and out of the hustle and bustle. There was not a mountain view like I was told. The swimming pool and putt putt was a nice touch for families but need some up keep! Cabin was listed with 2 futons and there were no frames just thin pads that would have to be put directly on the floor. Loved the porch and hottub. Had a great time with our grandchildren and would return back

Disappointed in the W Wind
Biloxi MississippiAdvertised as a "Private Premium cabin", and it was not.
Left on 06/30/2011 for a stay in June 2011
The cabin is very nice. But the advertisement states that it is a private cabin. Well, if you consider a cabin on each side within 20 yards (one cabin you will share a driveway with) and one in the front so close you can see the license plate numbers from the front porch as private, then this is your perfect "private" place. And there is definitely no view of the mountains. And no yard to walk around in - step off the front porch, walk 5 stpes and you are in the road.

Prospect, KYIt was a disastor!
Left on 06/07/2011 for a stay in May 2011
The cabin was insect infested. There were spiders and what appeared to be scorpions. After a sleepness night for fear of being bitten, my sister and i complained. We were told it was a cabin in the woods and would be very common.
That was simply not acceptable. In addition, we were told that the bites were not poisonous but would be like bee stings. Not sure about them but that's not okay either.
We wanted to leave. We simply wanted our unused night to be refunded. We were told by the management at Little Valley Mountain Resort that they would take a few days to decide. We checked out and checked into a hotel without bugs.
They did offer to send someone up to spray pesticide while we stayed there. I am an asthmatic and that would be acceptable either.
I have stayed in many cabins in the woods in the Smokies and I am not afraid of insects. I do not however like the thought that every thing could be covering spiders. we left and will not be back. -

New OrleansA great cabin for families
Left on 11/10/2010 for a stay in October 2010
My two sisters and I along with our elderly parents were very comfortable in Whispering Wind. There was plenty of room for five adults except for the dining table that only seated four comfortably. The Hot Tub was great and the second floor balcony allowed privacy for reading etc... We had fun with the pool table and the board games. Our only two outings were Roaring Fork Road which was breathtaking and away from the big crowds and DollyWood where my 90 year old Daddy rode the roller coasters. I've also stayed at Moon Shadow and Sundancer which had better views but were not as new or nice.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and we will certainly return.
This is my 6th stay at Little Valley Mountain Resort. The $90 cleaning fee is a little high, but it's not so bad when you see how clean everything is. Thanks for the memories! -

The service was outstanding and the cabin was wonderful. Very peaceful yet close enough to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. Played golf several times and even caught a few fish in the ponds. We plan to return.

Left on 11/10/2008 for a stay in September 2008
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cabin was very secluded near the top of the mountain with a very nice view. All ammenities were available for our usage during our stay. The only improvement would have been a gas or electric fireplace instead of a wood burning model. It should be a little clearer that in our two bedroom cabin that one bedroom was upstairs since stairs for one couple was not a feasable arrangement. This is our second year visiting Sevierville and the Little Valley Mountain Resort is far superior to last years resort.

We've stayed at this resort many times before. As with all of the cabins we've stayed in before this one had all the comforts of home plus some. In the loft is a full size pool table. On the back deck is a grill great for a quite evening in. There is a hot tub that is large enough for six possibly. The cabin is minutes from just about everything. The staff are eager to assist with any needs. Its a great place to go and relax.
