We were first timers (as adults) looking for a weekend getaway and were overwhelmed with the choices of options. Little Valley kept popping up on review sites as a popular choice. Between the beautiful cabins to the ease of the website, they made the selection process easy. From check in to check out we loved every minutes. Excellent choice for cabins and perfect location in the heart of the Pigeon Forge area.

Seven adults spent 3 nights at lovely log home. My husband is in a wheel chair and was wonderful to have place so accessible. Was joined in this home by 4 friends and my husband's caregiver so the 4 bathrooms a necessity. Spent hours at dining rm table playing games and watched movies each night on great rm DVD. Drove easily into Pigeon Forge to Hatield McCoy dinner show (good food & funny) & mountain Opry (good show). Both easily accessible. Enjoyed sitting in hot tub looking at Oct leaves. Enjoyed Internet access with no password required. Loved fireplace and gas logs!!!
House very clean. Cooked many meal in and had adequate pots and pans and plates, glasses etc but only had 5 forks. Nice supply of DW detergent, soap, TP, etc.
Suggestions: Need more than 6 DR chairs as we had 7 at every meal. Pulled in backless bench from porch. Could even be folding chairs in downstairs closet. Need more comforntable seating in Great rm. Current seating is only for 5 and so pulled rockers in from deck. Not very comfy. Need at least 1 non feather bed pillow. Need directions on how to use DVD esp related to location of input buttom being not on remote but on manual controls on top of tv. Figured it out but took quite some time. Need lamp tables and lamps on both sides of beds for reading. Also my husband and brother use C-pap's and there was no bedside table to hold them so I brought two in from porch. No hangers in closets. Luggage racks in bdrms would be most helpful. These are not necessities but would make your guests more comfortable!!! and are not expensive.
Amazing rental experience

It was a great experience. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had amazing scenery. Staff was attentive to anything you needed but also did not pester you during your stay, which I had experienced during other stays with different companies. Little Valley is an amazing establishment and I will defiantly be staying there the next time we make it to the smokeys.
Nice cabin, but needs better cleaning attention and maintenance.

This was my families first week-long vactions in years. Our daughter plays fastpitch softball and we travel all the time with that, so we were excited to finally get a week off to relax and we also took the grandparents! Check-in was smooth and personel was great! When we got to the cabin and went in I noticed that the floors were dirty! I need to mention that my family owns a cleaning business so we clean houses everyday! All the floors in this cabin are hardwood except the master bedroom! I began to sweep and it was unreal the amount of dirt and animal hair I got up! This was a pet-friendly cabin! So I'm guessing the floor didn't get mopped! This was not how I wanted to start my vacation doing the same work I do all week! Next I noticed that all the linens were wrong-side out so I thought maybe they just flipped them over and didn't wash them! So I washed them since they were very wrinkled and not clean smelling! The water pressure was beyond slow and sometimes it only trickled when you were taking a shower! Thats very annoying when six people need baths! Also one of the toilets ran the whole time we were there, so we turned it off and on as we needed to use it! Now for the cobwebs! You could literally swing from them! Once in a while they need to try to get them down! When we went to dinner one night the spoons that we got out still had leftover food on them so we washed almost all the dishes in this cabin! The cabin was pretty and it is a shame that the people that are managing it aren't doing their part to keep it in good shape for the homeowners! I didn't bother to complain! I just cleaned it myself! That way I knew it was really clean! What a fun vacation to have to clean! All in all, after all the cleaning and cleaning, we did have a good time! Just hope that the housekeeping does a better job! I would never allow this in the houses I clean!
Great family get-away!!

Wilderness Mountain Cabin is a great place to relax

We just finished working a very stressful tax season and wanted to get away and relax. This cabin was just what the doctor ordered. It was beautiful and secluded. What made us take notice of it was the ramp into the cabin (since several of us have mobility issues). We were also glad to have a somewhat flat parking area. Of the staff was kind and helpful. We plan to stay in this cabin again.
Wilderness Mountain is a very good choice for vacation

We were very pleased with our cabin "Wilderness Mountain". We have stayed with several "other" cabin rentals in the past we were most satisfied with this one. We will definitely request this cabin again

We received this invite almost 1 year to the day since our visit. We had such a great experience that we are headed back there this year 2013 & will be arriving this weekend. We chose a different cabin this year & are confident is will be as great as last years. Your hiking trails are just right for our preschoolers
& grandparents. All the outdoor activities offered means we really don't have to "drive to town" but we do that also.
Great cabin, flawless stay!

Beautiful, like-new cabin, great for families. Even catered to our need for a hospital bed by moving a bed to make room for it. I don't advise arriving after dark as Little Valley Rd is no fun to the unfamiliar on a moonless night. Likewise from the office cabin to the rental cabin. Photo makes cabin appear to be farther from the main road, and there's a very steep downgrade at the turn-in to the driveway making it easy to miss. Directions given were a must, and resort's road signs very helpful. All in all, we hope to return. If you're looking for a distant view, this is not the cabin for you.

Great cabin with great location. However, the cabin was not a complete enjoyment due to several wasps throughout the interior! In fact, I was stung by one and believe me that was a major ouch! Major swelling!
The sad news about the wasp situation is the management company wasn't that concerned! A real downer!
Great resort area- lovely cabin

The cabin was very clean and it's location was nice and quiet.
The pictures of the cabin are accurate. It was well taken care of and well appointed. I thought the beds were a little uncomfortable and there is very minimal furniture in two of the bedrooms...no dressers to put your clothes in. We stayed for a week and had to live out of suitcases. Overall, I nice cabin!!

This is our fifth time staying at Little Valley Mountain Resort. Previously we have enjoyed our stays. The day before our trip began we received a call from the office saying that they were experiencing a winter storm in case this information would change our travel plans. The next morning before embarking on our travel we checked the weather, it had improved and was due to be well above freezing. We called the office to confirm that roads were expected to be passable at our arrival time. They confirmed this. When we arrived after the office was closed the driveway for our cabin had not been plowed. We parked and figured the next day the snow would melt enough for us to climb the slight grade in the drive way. The next morning we checked in and complained about lack of plowing, no cable TV, and no internet access. We were told the drive would be plowed, there was a wide spread cable tv outage, and given instructions on rebooting internet connection. After rebooting the internet connect still did not work. The next day we called the office to ask the status of the cable TV and explain rebooting did not fix the internet. At this point, 10am, they sent a maintenance work to check the cable TV and internet. The maintenance worker could not resolve these issues. At 4:30 that day, one of the office staff came to the cabin with replacement hardware for the internet. This fixed the internet problem, however, since our first stay they have switched internet providers to Verizon 4G service. In my opinion cellular service in the mountains is spotty at best. For this cabin the best connection that we observed was 3G. Cable TV did not work for our entire stay. And at one point one of the office people told us that our cabin was without power until 4:30 of the day of our arrival. That fact could have been communicated to us prior to our arrival.

Our family came up for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The staff was super friendly, helpful and very prompt with any issues we had. Our cabin was beautiful and very fully equipped. We had lots of room to spread out and really enjoyed the porch area. The resort is located in a lovely area with lots of privacy for each cabin and the feeling of being secluded in the mountains. (but with easy access to civilization!)
We loved being able to hike and then relax in our hot tub! We also just enjoyed the time to be together and do what we wanted.

Pictures were accurate. Well stocked except we would have appreciated more dish clothes and dish towels. Handicap enhancements were well done and greatly appreciated. Will recommend to friends and neighbors.

We loved our vacation at Little Valley Mountain Resort. We stayed in the Wilderness Mountain cabin. Great location, set back from all the other cabins but still easy to get in and out of. The cabin was clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that there are no dressers in the two smaller bedrooms! There is no place to put your clothes if you don't like living out of a suitcase. But we managed. The hot tub was awesome. It sits on the back porch with a view of the woods, not your neighbors cabin. The kitchen/dinning table is beautiful, made from what looks like one giant slab of tree. Needs a couple more chairs, though. And, for the first time in almost 40 years of coming to Pigeon Forge, we saw a bear! Granted, it was in someone's garbage but, it was a bear! The people were very friendly at check-in. We even tried to stay another night but it was booked. We had a great time and would definately go back. Thanks!

Our stay was good. The cabin was clean and private. Could have used some furniture in the bedroom on the first floor. There was no place for clothes and not a hanger in the closet. We were down to visit with our friends and watch the Ncaa games. To our dismay, the widescreen turned into about a 15" TV because the original TV was broken. This was corrected with a TV of sufficient size, but it would not have happened without persistence. Really had a good time and it was close to town and grocery. Good time

This is the first time we rented a cabin. It was such a wonderful experience we already talked about planning next years spring break getaway. The cabin was beautiful and really does look like the pictures!! The pool was open but was still too cold for the kids to spend any time in it, but we didn't really expect it to be warm anyway since we were there in the beginning of april. All in all we would give our whole experience two thumbs up!!
Winter Break in Pigeon Forge

Our family stays at Lvmr every time we go to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. I like the cabin and it's very nice but it was too big for our needs. Once we got there we found out they had lowered the rate almost $50 per night but we were stuck paying the higher rate. I like the resort but they promise me a "loyal customer" discount and I never get it. It's a great cabin for large parties and is pet friendly. Watch out for broken glass all over the outside. We picked up most of it so our pet would't get hurt.

Upon arrival, we were told that the cabin had been broken into and the flat screen TVs were stolen. The TV in the living room was replaced with a 19 inch standard TV. The TV in the bedroom was not replaced at all. We should have been told that this had happened prior to our arrival. We took movies, games and entertainment to watch on the large flat screen TV which was advertised and shown in the pictures of the cabin on the website. We were told that a new TV would be brought during our stay; however nothing ever came.

Our first time staying in a cabin. Usually we rent two hotel rooms in the heart of Gatlinburg. We loved the cabin! It was comfortable (for 8 people), very clean and loved the free put put, pool and golf course. What a deal! We will go back - just hope it is not booked.

The first thing my 25 year old daughter said when we walked into the cabin was" I want to live here!" It was our second stay at the resort, but I'm sure it won't be our last. We loved the cabin, and had a good time enjoying the mountains and the many things to do in the area. We also really appreciated being able to bring our dogs. My daughter had car trouble, and the resort owner recommeded a place in town, I believe it was called Five Oaks Tire. The staff there took great care of us, and had the car fixed by 5 pm that day! We probably could have stayed another week and not run out of things to do. The new Titanic exhibit is definitely worth a visit!

It is beautiful!!! We met relatives from Florida for a week at Little Valley Mtn. Resort. Everything was great. We have a little dog and it was a perfect location for taking her out. We all had plenty of room and privacy. We also had my elderly mother with us and one of the main floor bedrooms had a great bathroom with walk in shower and rails for her.
We had problems connecting to the internet and found that it was not wireless. The office stay was great though and provided us with the cable we needed.
One suggestion we would make is to put a dresser or chest in all of the bedrooms. But that is definately not a big deal and not a deal breaker.
We would recommend the resort and this cabin.

We loved our stay at Little Mountain Resort. The Wilderness Mountain cabin was fairly new when we stayed, but was just as pictured. We had four teen and pre-teen boys with us and there was plenty to do to keep them all busy. The only problem I experienced was that there was no internet in the cabin when we got there. But, when we reported it, the staff took care of it the first working day. If you have pets this is a great cabin because it has it's own private driveway and it stays quiet. The kids are still bragging about the trip and the experience we had. Great Experience! Would recommend dressers in all bed rooms.
