Left on 04/18/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We are return vacationers, not only to the area but to Little Mountain Valley Resort. We have always had pleasant stays with the resort. We will always return. This is our home away from home with some added luxuries...the gorgeous view and the hot tub!! My family highly recommends staying with Little Mountain Valley Resort.

Left on 04/05/2013 for a stay in August 2012
It took us a while to find the resort but once we found it it was easy to get to and from town. This cabin was just right for the price. The stairs leading to it were a bit steep so I wouldn't recommend this cabin for couples with small children. However, it was perfect for us and our 5year old. The upstairs balcony off the bed room looked rickity so we did not use it. The cabin was clean, sheet and towels were clean which was very reassuring. The hot tub was clean and we enjoyed teaching our son to play pool. We were close enough to the attractions in pigeon forge to have fun but secluded enough to spend quality bonding time with our son doing things at the resort. We had a great time and we loved the fishing ponds, put- put golf and swimming pool on site.

This vacation was the second time we stayed in this cabin and really liked the privacy. I t is very clean and comfortable. The only thing was the pool q's need to be replaced. Everything we needed was there. We noticed a Deer watching us in the hot tube about 20ft away, how cool is that. We will be back...

Left on 03/15/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Our stay was a pleasant one. The cabin was clean, they bed slept good, we did have a wasp come from no were in the bed area, but it didnt sting us. The stairs were a bit much for me.The hot tub is secluded on the back porch and you really can't see the other cabins even though they are close because of the trees, so that was nice.the windows didnt have curtains which i thought they should because the cabins were so close togeather. The cabin only offers basic 19.99 cable. The coffee pot doesnt shut it's self off so remember to shut it off!!The water is very hot so you should watch if you have small children with you The tub in the lower bathroom didnt have a stopper so you can only take baths in it and the upper bathroom,s shower is very tiny you can barely turn around in it.But we did enjoy our stay very much but would stay in a different cabin next time.

Left on 01/15/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We enjoyed our stay. This is a very clean and quiet cabin. We liked the fact that it was the last one on this particular road, so it seems more private than others. Only two complaints that can't really be fixed, there were wasps inside the cabin that we never figured out where they were coming from. We killed four and was stung by one. Also, the shower in the upstairs bathroom was extremely small, difficult to turn around in. Otherwise, we would definitely consider staying in the same cabing again. Nice, peaceful and close to town, but secluded also.

Left on 10/06/2011 for a stay in September 2011
The cabin is situated higher than all the other cabins on its road, so you really feel isolated. The view is beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the porch. Inside is comfortable. I'm picky about where I stay and it passed all my requirements for cleanliness and quality of furnishings. We would rent this exact cabin again in a heartbeat. My only recommendation is to bring your own towels and pillows; everything was clean, but they weren't high quality.

Left on 05/21/2011 for a stay in April 2011
My wife and i honeymooned in this cabin. Hands down if there is a better deal for a cabin this great i couldnt find it. Its about 10 minutes out of pigeon forge so you dont have to worry about noisy traffic and you have that great romantic setting. There were some water bugs in the cabin but def not infested. I gave check in a 4 bc theres no one there past 5 to check you in. They do however leave you a note at the office with a key and had us come check in the next day which i thought was very nice. Service is the only other thing that kinda sucked. But for what you get and the value of it all is worth the sub par service that is not all that bad to begin with. Def look into this place...

I checked in laThe cabin is in a great location on the Mountain with beautiful views. The inside of the cabin is beautiful with whirl pool tub over looking the 1st floor it was great. The drier needs to be fixed and the cabin needs to be sprayed for wasps. We had a great time and the cabin is in a great location to all the fun areas in town.

We are glad to hear that you had a good visit with us here at Little Valley. We addressed the problem with the dryer, and it is in working order once again. The wasps however, briefly got in due to the temps going from cold to hot too quickly. We since have treated for the wasps that were there, and is no longer an issue. We hope to see you return to Little Valley. Lisa

Overall, Little Mountain Valley Resort was a great experience... The staff was friendly, the cabin was very nice and everything was as pictured on the website as far as the cabin goes, no "tricky photography." The only issue I had was that the weekend that my fiance and I went up, they were expecting snow, so when we got there they had moved us from the cabin I had reserved on top of the mountain to one that didn't have a mountain view... They were concerned that we would get stuck, which was legit, but I was planning on proposing over the weekend and I wanted a good view. After some negotiating with them, I was able to get them to switch us to another cabin not as high on the mountain, but with a mountain view. They ended up plowing the roads anyway, so getting in and out was never a problem and we drive a Subaru anyway. Also, don't plan on actually using the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom... There is very little water pressure, so even after leaving the water on for 3 hours, the tub still only had a few inches of water in it. Everything else worked fine though and the hot tub outside was great!
Another cool thing, they had free sleds out so I had a great time sledding with my dog!
I would definitely go back to Lmvr for another visit, it was extremely private, quiet, and relaxing. -

The cleanliness could have been improved. There were spiderwebs, spiders included inside the cabin and multiple wasp nests on the outside of the cabin. Made your skin crawl a little. Otherwise, very nice, private location, quiet, peaceful, pretty little cabin

Since your stay we have addressed the issues related the insects. During the summer we often have a more challenging time than others to eliminate these problems. Being in the mountains definatley makes our pest control technician work that much harder. We are glad however that the cabin you chose was quiet, peaceful and private. We do hope to see you return. Thank you, Lisa T.

Left on 01/14/2010 for a stay in October 2009
The cabin was in good shape overall. The setting is fantastic and the amenities are good. Overall the cabin was clean. The heat worked good and the views were amazing. Following is a list of items for improvement.
The toilet seats looked like they hadn't been replaced in years. The wood seats were pitting and the paint was flaking off in certain areas. They should be changed.
It seemed like the upper exterior deck hadn't been swept in weeks. It had a very thick coat of leaves and other 'natural' trash.
The most unsightly and dirty thing was the hot tub water. It had a pungent/rotten water smell. Certain areas of the walls had slippery slime growing. It was a visible coat of brownish slime. It made us think twice about using it. The hot tub housekeeping is the item which will require the most improvement.
Overall I would give the cabin a 7 out of a 10.
Would I go back? Yes... but if the hot tub is not clean I would complain immediately. The other items were rather minor. We actually enjoyed our stay at the Windsong.Response from Little Valley Mountain Resort - 04/22/2010

Thank you for staying in little valley, The hot tubs are supposed to be drained and cleaned after each stay .....the cabin had been sitting for a few days and this is why the tub was not up to par.....my appoligies...We now make sure this will not happen again.... our front desk staff makes sure the housekeeping has done its touch ups prior to guests arrivals sincerely, george rainwater

WHEN WE ARRIVED LATE WE WERE ABLE TO CHECK IN WITH THE KEY LOCATED AS PROMISED WITH MAP TO FIND OUR WAY. STAFF VERY NICE.
WE WOULD HAVE RATED A 5, BUT THE POOL TABLE IS IN A ROOM TOO SMALL TO PLAY, AND THEY ADVERTISE A PAR 3 GOLF COURSE--BUT IT IS A JOKE-NOTHING MORE THAN A BIG FIELD WITH BAD GRASS AND SHORTER MOWED GRASS AS GREENS--THE BALL COULD NOT EVEN BE PUTTED AND COULD NOT GO IN THE HOLE BECAUSE THE CUPS WERE NOT SET RIGHT! BUT IF YOU DON'T CARE FOR GOLF--EVERYTHING ELSE IS GRAND.
THE CABIN ITSELF IS PRIVATE AND BIG, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. BED IS GREAT AND LAYOUT ROMANTIC. LOVED THE UPSTAIRS OVERLOOKING THE LIVING ROOM. PLENTY OF CLEAN TOWELS. WE WILL BE GOING BACK WHEN WE CAN GET ANOTHER VACATION--BUT NEXT TIME WE WILL LEAVE THE CLUBS AT HOME!!!

This was a wonderful way to escape from the busy everyday rush of our fast paste life. The cabin was equiped with everything we needed except food. (and I'm sure if we would have asked the friendly staff would have made arrangements for food to be there) The atmosphere was so refreshing and peaceful; the coziness made you want to just stay in all the time, no reason to go out except to get a breath of fresh air. We would like to make this our new annual escape in the Fall>

My wife and I loved the seclusion of the cabin. The staff was beyond kind and helpful with not only our stay, but giving us tips for local activities and directions. Having a cabin with so much privacy was great for my wife and I in using the hottub and other things. The cabin was nice; playing billiards was a lot of fun; having 2 bathrooms was fantastic; we both slept amazingly well. We had a wonderful time and would go back there in a heartbeat if we had the chance. It was nice that, while we were out of the hustle and bustle of Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge, we were close enough to visit both, and all the sights of the area we wanted.
