At first glance, “Around the Mountain” may make you feel like seasoned country folk! Don’t be alarmed if you suddenly get the urge to sip lemonade in the rocker on the front porch or learn to play the harmonica. This quintessential country cabin possesses the power to transform even the slickest city slicker into a laid back nature lover!
But don’t worry—this cabin certainly won’t strip away all the creature comforts of civilized life. Oh contraire! As you move from the natural beauty of the outside, you will be enveloped in the modern luxury of the interior. Not only will you find the essential “home needs” such as cent...ral heat/air, washer, dryer, fully-equipped kitchen, satellite TVs, DVD, and VCR, you will also encounter some tantalizing surprises! Prepare yourself for the beautiful stone fireplace in the great room, private deck replete with hot tub, sauna, BBQ grill, and the bedside Jacuzzi. You may wish to keep the wonder of this newfound paradise all to yourself or maybe share it with those nearest and dearest to you. Either way, this cabin comfortably accommodates up to six people.
Now lest you get too comfortable in this beautiful cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains and fear you may actually choose to become a country recluse, the proximity of this cabin to the bustling activity of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg will bring your back to your city roots and show you a great time all at once. That’s the beauty of “Around the Mountain.” This little slice of perfection let’s you bake your country cake and eat it in the city too! So go ahead—indulge yourself by experiencing all the wonders of the great outdoors and the thrill of town life all in one magically special environment.

We had a wonderful time at around the Mountain. The cabin was truly around the Mountain. We love the fact that we were in the woods. The Eden Crest employees were great from start to finish. Hopefully this will be a every year trip for us. Thanks Eden Crest.
The cabin experience was amazing

We both enjoyed the cabin and would return. Our only problem was with the emails requesting us for a signature. Somehow our email was stuck in the system and we were getting 2 and 3 emails before we arrived 37 after our visit. We called but results. A suggestion would be to have clear instructions (turning on and off) for using hot tub, spa, etc...

This was a trial run for our summer vacation/anniversary and we loved it. We had no idea how great this place was. The people and craft stores were great. We have already decided to come back next yr.

The cabin was very nice. The view from the back porch wasn't much to write home about (it's only trees), but the cabin itself is several miles away from the city, which was exactly what we wanted. It was quiet, comfortable, and had all the amenities one could ask for.

The cabin was great, with just a few minor complaints. There wasn't enough bed linen for the pull out beds. The light was out in the sauna.T.V. in the master bedroom could have been a bit larger, it was hard to see from the bed.
it was great for a family get a way.

My stay with Eden Crest at around the Mountain was very enjoyable. Besides the crumbs in the kitchen and a couple dirty dishes in the cabinets and drawers, the cabin seemed clean and well taken care of. I wish the fireplace was gas though instead of electric! The hot tub and sauna were great! I liked the feeling of being away from it all, but being just a short drive away from town. I would recommend this and other Eden Crest cabins!

we spent the entire 1st night trying to heat up the hot tub after calling the office over and over again. It took over 4 hours of our evening dealing with the problem. By then our 1st evening was ruined. We payed alot of money to enjoy the second night only. And no one evan called me back from the office to see if everything was ok. We had other issues, such as no info on where the fireplace buttons were located, so we spent about an hour on that issue(evan the maintance person had to look and couldnt fiqure it out easily) BBQ was out of gas. Just not what we were looking for on our 2 day trip to celebrate our anniversary. Read more

We are very sorry you were disappointed in your stay. We drain our hot tubs after every check out to insure it is sparkling clean and sanitized for the next guest. Reheating the water in the tub takes a few hours and depending on the time of day the tub was filled it could have been longer than it should have been. However you should have been able to use the tub several hours later.
We do have a book left in the cabin to help explain how to operate things like a fireplace. We were quick to deliver propane to the cabin for your BBQ. It sounds like we just let you down and for that we are all very sorry as we value you as a guest of Eden Crest. We hope you will give us another try and see just how wonderful your time at one of our cabins can really be.
This cabin was exactly what we wanted!

Upon arrival at our cabin we were very impressed, it was homey but still had that vacation feel to it. when we walked in the the cabin we realized the thermostate was set below what it was supposed to be set on, and the light bulb on the back porch had been shattered all over the floor. we had to call and report it to the front desk. we did not recieve a return call from the front desk until the following night (which was our last night there). Because it took so long for them to return our call we took a light bulb out of the bathroom in order to see where the hot tub was. Oh the hot tub, when we got in the hot tub we found a glob of blonde hair stuck to the side and someones earring on the floor inside the hottub. It was really gross. the inside of the cabin was great though it was really clean and comfy. We really enjoyed the jacusie tub and the pool table. i would like to make one suggestion to anyone that rents these cabins and that is that when you arrive check everything and make sure the hottub is clean! if there are any problems make sure to tell the front desk as soon as you find them so they can be fixed and you can enjoy your stay. Other than the hottub our stay was great. we will definitally come again, hopefully the hottub will be clean next time.
You better live in the area to find the cabin.

We paid alot of money for this cabin and we have stayed with you many times before, however this cabin was very hard to find and the maintenance staff and front desk also was not sure where the cabin was and we drove for 45 min up and down the road looking while having front desk on the phone. Finally found it and the hot tub was not hot we had to wait till in the morning before use and we did not get in the cabin till 10pm. Then the hot tub over heated and we had to try and cool it down it burnt our legs and you could not even sit down. There were not enough blankets for all the beds and sleeper sofas so I had to give my children my comforter off my bed because it was so cold at night. This was not a cabin I would want to stay in again for the price. Also location of this cabin is very hard to find and we know the area pretty well. Read more

Thank you for staying with us over the years. We certainly appreciate customers like yourself, and love seeing the same faces time and again. ‘Around The Mountain’ is just that, and a great secluded cabin for those that want to get away from it all and get back to nature.
We have taken your comments to heart and have just updated the directions to include better landmarks, so that no one has to rely so much on odometer numbers so exactly.
We had no idea that you were experiencing any problems with the hot tub. Always, in future, call us right away so we can send out someone from maintenance to fix the issue to your satisfaction. We would also have happily sent someone out to deliver blankets! We certainly do not want you to be disappointed like this again.
We look forward to seeing you again, and would be pleased to match you and your friends or family up with the perfect cabin for your next vacation in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee.

We have stayed at another Eden property and liked it as well. However the privacy that this cabin provides is hands down perfect. We will be back every time in this cabin. Really wish they would open up the Satellite to allow movie channels. Would also like to see password protected ( keep freeloaders off) wireless internet. Also would like to see a bigger TV in the bedroom. Come on now folks we are paying the same we would in a 5 Star Resort stay, so the accommodations should be comparable. Other then that it was a hugely successful stay.

Paid for 3 nights but only able to stay 2 because of weather. Paid the extra $40 for travel insurance, that didn't cover lost night. Road going to cabin not salted, for safety reasons we left and got a motel room in Pigeon Forge.
Hot tube and sauna were nice. Furniture was also nice. Cabin lacked a few little things like hooks on bathroom doors for robes or cloths and at sauna/hot tube. WiFi would be nice for the price. Needs luggage stand in bedroom, we like to live out of suit cases. A light at the laundry and over the dinning table would be nice. Cabin seemed dark. Bed was so so, pillow top would be nice. We don't think the dish washer worked, loaded it as we left to get out before snow and ice, it would not run.
Choose cabin because of sauna and close to Pigeon Forge. We have stayed in a dozen or so cabins in area and on a scale of 1-10 this one would be a 5.

Our stay at "Around the Mountain" was very nice. It was more than we would usually spend on a get-a-way weekend, but it was our 25th anniversary, so we splurged. A little far from town, but my husband requested something "secluded" and that is definitely what it was. Otherwise, very enjoyable. Check-in staff was very hospitable and helpful.
Relaxing and peaceful get away.

This was our third visit to the area and our second time renting this property. We loved it so much that we came back! Peaceful, serene and we'll probably be back in the future!
Perfect, relaxing trip

My husband and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend and were very pleased. check-in was a very easy process and the staff was extremely friendly (even while dealing with the not so nice people that were checking in before us). The location is great and easy to get too. We loved that we were so secluded, but could still get to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with ease. The cabin was nicely decorated and the hot tub was great.
My only complaint (and its minor) is that there was no salt and pepper in the cabin. I don't expect them to keep condiments and other spices in the cabin, but was hoping that at least that was there.
Overall it was a great experience and we plan to return.

My family enjoyed the cabin and the sights in Tennesse. The children were disappointed because the property didn't have a pool. It was my fault because I looked at all the cabins for eden crest vactional rental and i saw pools. Was not able to up grade to a bigger cabin so children could go to the pool. The lady at the office sugguested going to the community pool. We will return but not to around The Mountain cabin.

The setting was quiet and relaxing. Not much heard from neighboring cabins. Cabin was equiped with necessities. However, needed a little dusting anf front door frame needed repair. We would stay again.
