Amazing space for our family, very good location for activities/sites. Will take my own cookware next time. Grills could have been in better condition - did not use. WiFi is a must in today's environment - needed it for work; however, was forced to vacation the entire time and catch up later. Most fun on the trip was tuning out the lights and playing hide & seek in the cabin & charades in the media room. Awesome trip!

Our time in the Smokey Mountain Cinema Cabin at Edens Crest was amazing. The accomodations far exceeded our expectations as we were looking for a place to get away to celebrate life by spending quality time with each other. Relatives from around the country met us there, and we had the time of our lives creating memories that will last forever. There were married couples, singles, children, teenagers, and the elders of the family- all were accomodated. We all woke up under the same roof, ate together, prayed together, looked at movies, talked, played games, and so much more. We had more than enough room as that cabin sleeps 23 ppl. We loved the town and all that is offered there, and the mountain scenary at every turn. I have nothing but high praise for this facility, and look foward to returning very soon.
All the cousins under one roof!

Smoky Mountain Cinema is everything we could have wanted in a rental cabin - spacious, plenty of private bedrooms with baths, and a giant kitchen table where we could all gather. Along with my husband, we had all 4 of our children, their spouses and all 14 grandchildren under one roof. The common areas were great for whatever we wanted to do - play pool, air hockey, arcade games or just kicking back in the theater room and enjoy a movie. The location was great - close to the parkway and the grocery store. Only one small suggestion - child proof door locks would have been nice on the doors leading to the decks - especially the one with the hot tub. Loved our stay!

Luckily we had good weather and we were able to get out and hike on the trails. The cabin area was pleasant although we saw very little wildlife anywhere in Gatlinburg- to be exact-1 stray dog, 1 squirrel, 2 pigeons and a turkey vulture. The kids- ages 10-16 enjoyed the games and the movie theater room. There was plenty to do and the large kitchen table was great for games. Tv's all worked great but the internet connection never worked despite several hours of trying. Kitchen was small when cooking for 15 and a/C never worked on main floor. Great location with regards to convenience to stores, shopping and activities.
great cabin family trip

Valentine's Getaway with Friends

My husband and I and 12 of our friends rented Smoky Mtn Cinema for our annual Valentine's Getaway weekend. We had a great time! The cabin was plenty large enough to accomodate us, and we loved having the theater room for movies and the entertainment room to play in. For us, there were a couple of downsides that you should know about... 1) The kitchen was very small and could only accomodate two persons for cooking/cleaning. There was only one refrigerator too, which would have made it really difficult had we not been prepared by bringing multiple large coolers to set out on the decks. 2) The only internet service was dial-up. If you need to work while you are here, you should consider a house that specifies wireless internet service. 3) As stated when you make your reservation, you will definitely need a four-wheel drive vehicle and quite possibly even chains in the event of bad weather. While the road in the resort is paved, it is extremely steep and would be very difficult to navigate in bad weather even in 4WD. We were fortunate and had great weather while there in Feb. 4) There really is no view from any of the porches at this cabin.
This really is an awesome cabin and we felt like it was a very good deal for the amount of room we had and the quality of the furnishings. I think these were the best beds I've ever slept in in a rental property.
We would probably stay there again, but we would probably consider something higher up the road in the resort so that we would have a view.

All cabins need wi-fi. We enjoyed the cabin overall. The Kitchen was a little small, but the bedrooms were very roomy. Please try and put doors on bathrooms in bedrooms. The projector in the cinema room went out Saturday night, but the maintenance guys got it replaced by early Sunday afternoon. I would like to get a cabin a little higher up for a better view.

The chalet was great for a big group. We had plenty of space, every room has its own bathroom. Noise levels were good no matter where you were. Kitchen was a bit small for such a large chalet but very open so it worked out. I would only have one suggestion and that is there were no bathroom doors on any of the bathrooms in the bedrooms. You have to be very comfortable with your roomate if going with someone other than spouse. The other two small things to note is the hot tub could only be accessed from a bedroom. There were no common deck areas for the hot tub. Also, no speaker system which could accomodate an ipod for music. Lastly, the cabins in this area are pretty much right on top of each other and not spread apart. You can almost reach out and touch your neighbors cabin.

The house was beautiful with ample space for our large family. The problem was that there is no sound barrier between the floors making sleep near impossible if others remain up. There was not enough flatwear available. If any thing was in the dishwasher, we did not have enough forks for all. We rent a large home each year for our family and this is the first time we have encountered these problems. Maybe the owner would like to address these issues in order to encourage repeat business. We had a great time despite the noise and shortage of eating utensils. Read more

Thank you for alerting me to the shortage of flatwear. I will have that taken care of right away. If you had notified us during your stay we would have gladly brought you additional utensils. Next time be sure to let us know of any needs you have and we will address them quickly.
Large enough to accomidate us all.

Great location, great cabin; howver, it was dirty, If you walked barefoot across the floor your feet would be black with dirt. The dishwasher had a broken wheel on the lower rack and the oven would not heat sufficient to warm up food, an dthe storage drawer under the stove was broken.

We had a fabulours family time, but it was difficult to sleep due to the fact that every single noise, including normal conversation could be heard from bedroom to bedroom. There must be no insulation in-between the levels. The house layout is good. Lots for everyone to do. We should have been told that there would be no pools open in September, since we discussed swimming several times with the EC office. Check out the condition of the games when you arrive so they can be fixed for usage, too.

I thought the cabin was beautiful and the staff was very helpful in answering all of our questions and concerns. A little damper on our reunion however was the pool being closed and we having to go to the community center, but we made due and everyone still had a great time. I would definitely come back again!
One of my best vacation location ever.

Definitely a great place to relax and have fun! My friends and I had an amazing time! Everything was perfect and very comfortable. The only thing, the website for our cabin said there was free wireless, and there wasnt. Other than that everything was very very nice!

We loved the cabin. It was amazing and beautiful and spacious! The cabin is exactly as the pictures show. It is very roomy and great for large parties to spread out. There was plenty of cooking equipment and dishes to use. The movie room was better than being at the movies! The bedrooms were big and very comfortable. It is a log cabin, therefore, you can hear the room above you or when someone is up in the morning. The cabins are very close together and the neighboring party across the road and up a hill going on until 2 in the morning sounded like it was right next door! So, sleep was not an option until the party ended.

This house was great..We had 6 adults and 20 teenagers in this house and would have never known it except when it came time to eat our meals. The kitchen could use an additional small table. The theater room was a great place to have our day devotion. We really love the house...
