The cabin was what we expected, as we have stayed with Great Cabins in the Smokies before. The information that was on the website is what you get. Check in was a breeze, directions accurate and the cabin was great. We had a lot of snow fall Christmas and Boxing Day, so if you are staying there in the winter be prepared to stay in. We found, because it was cold that the lower floor is very cool first thing, until you get the fireplace going. But other than that it was very nice. You couldn't beat the amazing views from the hot tub watching all the snow fall covering the trees. We have been travelling to this area for over 10 years for Christmas, and this was the first time we experienced this amount of snow in this area, We will stay there again we travel with our family, there is plenty of room and sleeping area.

The entire experience from beginning to end was fantastic. We were two families with 4 teenagers for 8 days and everyone loved the layout of the cabin. If you have rented before, you know the feeling of "this is not what was on the website"... Not the case here. The rooms are great and the back porch view is much better that what is shown on the website.The location was great for us because we were in the park everyday and didn't have to sit through Las Vegas style traffic to access the park. We will rent from here again..

We have stayed with Great Cabins several times and have been well taken care of. Cudos to your crew! Fire on the Mountain is a very well built and spacious cabin and has a very nice view. We had a buck and doe visit us a couple of mornings while we were there. The decks are very large. My daughter even mentioned that if she knew they were so big she would have brought a small pool for her toddler to play in. It's location makes it very easy to access any thing you might want to do. We did have a few issues with cleanliness when we arrived but what we didn't take care of, Great Cabins did. The lower level and main level air conditioner worked great but the upper level unit never got the temperature at a comfortable level. I would suggest a change in the bath towels and rags, some were very stained and soiled. Also the pots, pans and skillets could be updated. Having mentioned the few negatives, we have already booked a return trip to this cabin in October. Hopefully some of our concerns will have been addressed.

We stayed here for a family reunion. Other relatives booked in town in Pigeon Forge and had less room for more money. We absolutely loved the spaciousness and beauty of the lodge. Our grandchildren had fun with the foosball table while the adults enjoyed pool. The only negative thing about this was that the floors weren't mopped good and my one-year-old grandson's hands and knees stayed fairly dirty.

This cabin was everything we had hoped for and more. There was ample parking for everyone. We even had plenty of room for our enclosed trailers-brought our motorcycles to tour the mountains. Had 11 people in all staying at this cabin. Never felt crowded. This cabin has such a majestic view. It is a nice quiet area. Cabin was very clean and was a "turn-key" facility. The only thing I could say that they could improve on was the need for new pots and pans. Great family & friends vacation. We will definately stay at this cabin again!!
