We had a great stay here on our first trip to the Pigeon Forge area. We were there for five nights over the New Year's holiday. We liked that this cabin wasn't right in town, but not too far out either. A huge plus was that it wasn't up a steep road--very easy drive, and one of our main reasons for choosing this cabin. As for the cabin itself...we thought it was cute and comfortable, and the kids loved the pool table and hot tub (and going up and down the stairs to the loft.) The only area that I'd say needs improvement is the cleanliness, and I don't mean that the cabin is dirty, because I wouldn't have given a positive review if that were the case. I mean that things that aren't used often were dusty... like dust and cobwebs on the walls and/or light fixtures. The bathroom has some mildew issues...nothing that took away from our enjoyment of the stay, but I think they need to address it before it gets worse. One final thought...although this cabin can sleep 5 people comfortably, I don't recommend it because of the bathroom issue. There is only one bathroom, and it has no door of it's own. It's sort of attached to the master bedroom, and you have to close the door between the kitchen and master bedroom/bathroom area. Definitely not convenient in a situation like ours (me & my husband, our two kids, and my mom.) All in all, we were very pleased, and we would stay there again.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience when we stayed at Our Father's House cabin in Sevierville, TN! The cabin was in a beautiful wooded area, was very inviting, was decorated very nicely, and was very clean! Since we are Christians and we know the owners are Christians, we appreciated the Christian things we saw in the house, such as a Bible opened to John 3:16. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent from this company again!

My husband picked the rental. It wasnt bad. It just wasnt what I thought it would be. The cabin itself was cute. There wasnt much of a view if you are looking for great views. My husband asked for a cabin with internet and it did have internet. We just didnt expect it to be a landline so none of our devices worked. There was no cell service either so when our code wouldnt work we had to drive to town to get a signal. Then they only have an automated system which said if have trouble getting in your cabin press this number(tells me most people must have trouble). Anyway, we took the suggestion from the automated system and drove back to the cabin. Still didnt work so got back in the car and drove back to town. Had to leave a message and then wait for someone to call us back. The lady who called back was super nice and turns out they had given us the wrong code number. Anyway, we thought we would be miserable without our cell phones and no wireless for our ipods and ipads but it turned out to be the just what we needed-time away. We're so glad to hear that your vacation was the time away that you needed...but so sorry to hear of your troubles with the entry code. The fact that you got the wrong code is entirely our fault, and we are sincerely sorry for that. The reason that we have the instructions on our voice system is because the type of lock that we use was not very common in this area until recently. The old style locks that were commonly used in this area were made so that you could enter a code and then just push on the door to open it. On the new style that we use you must enter the code and then turn the deadbolt or push the lever to open then door. You wouldn't believe how many folks who would call us before turning the door knob to try to get in...so we added this option to our system so that in busy times, or in the middle of the night, guests would be able to get instructions without waiting for their call to be returned.
Based upon your review we are working with the owner of this unit to install a new wireless internet router. The unit does have broadband, but up to this point they have only had wired service. We will update the listing once this has been changed.

We simply were unprepared to find such convenience and nicety and luxury at the price we paid. To us it was just a palace and except for pressing business here in alabama, we would probably have stayed another week. Also, that particular cabin was just so convenient to everything--even a good small deli and convenience store about a mile and a half away and a horse-riding outfit only a few miles away, yet the cabin was in a nice secluded wooded area! We have rented from u guys for a few yrs now and I was disappointed in cabin. I asked for something kind of private and it was not private at all. The floor and bath tub were not very clean. Floor was sticky and covered with some kind of film and the tub had hairs all over it. The hot tub would not stay heated, the lights didn't work and the jets wouldn't stay running. We placed a call to maintenance and got a return call bur the problem was never fixed. This is the first unpleasant experience we have had with ur company. Thanks for your review. If you ever encounter a situation like this at one of our properties PLEASE bring it to our attention immediately! We NEVER want out guests to arrive to a cabin that they feel is not clean. That is completely unacceptable to us. We would have sent the housekeepers to the cabin to take care of the floors and tub immediately.
The hot tub at Our Fathers House is a little old. The light in the tub does not work and the jets are on a timer that will only allow them to run for 15 minutes. That's really about as long as we recommend anyone stay in the hot tub anyway...but if you wish to stay in longer all you have to do is push the button to restart the jets. There's really nothing that our maintenance folks could have done to "fix" this as it is an intentional function of this particular tub.
We will certainly take your review in advisement and discuss this with the housekeepers responsible for this particular property. We're sorry for your disappointment and look forward to your next stay with us.

One thing to remember is that we do keep office hours, and that our phones are directed to a voice system after-hours, or during times of increased call volume. Rest assured, if you leave a message it WILL be heard, directed to the proper individual, and dealt with accordingly and in a timely fashion.

This cabin was very clean and has everything you need for a great weekend. It is listed as a 1 bedroom, but has a bed in the loft, which is where we slept. The only issue with having more guests would be that the only bathroom is connected to the master bedroom, but it might not be too big of a deal. We still talk about our stay at this cabin, and will probably stay there again. It has a great yard too!

The cabin was ok. The downstairs bedroom was a little damp and the bed was not real comfortable. We ended up sleeping in the loft. Otherwise the cabin was good. We very specifically requested a cabin with plenty of parking because we were bringing a boat and were assured that there would be no problem. The road getting to the cabin was a problem and if anyone had been in the cabin across the road, we would never have been able to get the boat into the driveway of the cabin.

The service was great. We asked for the moon and the stars and we got everything and more. The cabin was wonderful and rustic which is what we like best. We loved the view and the privacy! It is hard to find a cabin that has this type of location and have everything we wanted and not have to drive a long distance to get there. We will definitely try to stay at this cabin again.

This cabin is a a very lovely cabin. The decoration and ammenties were wonderful. I love the wood fireplace, the wir-fi connection was great and the atmospere of the cabin made for a great stay for our vacation. We loved the pool table, the hot tub and enjoyed cooking hot dogs and smores around the fire pit. We always use this company to book our cabins with and the people are so friendly and help. They will go out of their way to help you.
