The view from this cabin was spectacular, sitting on the deck swing was my favorite part. I sat out there every morning and drank my coffee. The inside of the cabin was very nice, it was pretty clean upon our arrival. So much for southern hospitality, we rented this cabin for seven days. We ran out of toilet paper and had to buy our own, we ran put of garbage bags , good thing I had brought two from home. We ran out of dish soap, and dish washing soap as well. I went to the rental office to ask to switch put our towels for clean, I was informed that there was a washer and dryer in the cabin and I was welcome to wash them my self. Gee, thought I was on vacation? So we nought laundry soap and I did laundry. No one called, checked on us or inquired after a week if we needed anything. Hhhmmmm, poor customer service!!!!

My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary March 22, we had dinner at Dixie Stampede dinner show that night which was the icing on our best trip ever!
The cabin was so clean and beautifully decorated with everything we needed. We stepped out on the front porch and looking at the Mountains noticed the we could see the Ski slope in Gatlinburg right from our porch! Lol
The view was beautiful and the quietness was so relaxing.
We will be back for sure and can't wait!
Thanks for all you do to make our trips special!

I wanted to plan a nice college graduation trip with my boyfriend and many other cabin rental places stated that you had to be 25 or married. Im 23, so my dad ended up finding Dollywood cabins where you can be 18 and rent a cabin, which was great! When we arrived there the cabin was stunning and the pictures on the website matched the cabin to the T. The mountain view was so breathtaking, and I have never seen anything so beautiful...did I mentioned that it snowed, which made the view so much more amazing. Im from an area where theres no mountains, hills, or snow so being able to experience this was more than I could ask for. My boyfriend and I do plan on going back to this area and staying with Dollywood cabin rentals again. Its an experience I will never forget. I highly suggest to go during the off season, there are no crowds and the cabin prices are very reasonable. Read more

This was a last minute trip. The cabin was very nice. Road to cabin was a adventure in itself, especially the first two nights with dense fog. The last day was very icey and even more adventurous trying to come down the mountain. On the 4th to last day, we reported the heater out. We left a voicemail for the office and the call was never returned. Not sure if anyone came to check it out or not, but the next day we actually stopped by the office and reported it. Again, no indication that anyone had gone out to check it. The final night, temps were in the single digits and the inside temp of the cabin was 45-degrees F. Also, when we stopped at the office, they told us we needed any assistance getting out (were expecting snow and ice), to call them and they would assist us. The cabin was beautiful with a steep driveway. We called the morning of check out and were told that Dollywood rentals were not responsible for anything but the roads. Explained we could see the roads and no plows had been there. No tracks or marks at all. We slowly backed/slid out of the driveway. Thank god for four wheel drive and my truck (diesel dually) was heavy. We drove down the mountain averaging about 3-5 mph, if that much. Every few feet, one of the wheels would hit ice and feel it slide, but no problems getting down. We were disappointed by the lack of concern for the heat and also the person stating help was available to get us out..The Dollyworld ticket package we bought through the cabin was fantastic, as was the Stampede tickets. The drive thru Smoke Mountain Nat'l park was stunning. Get to the scenic area at the end and was treated to seeing about 100 deer feeding in the horse pastures. I would recommend staying here and we might possibly do it again with out kids and grandkids. But if it's winter time, take a bag or two of road salt with you just in case. Oh, our outdoor hot tub was not shielded with a wall from the view of other cabins. Not a major concern, but most others were. Read more

A group of us girls spent the weekend in this cabin for our friend's bachelorette celebration. It completely exceeded our expectations! Not only was the cabin beautiful, the staff was so helpful. Maria at the front desk got us checked in and hooked us up with a discount when we decided to stay another night (we really never wanted to leave!) Just based on this experience, we will be attempting to make this trip once a year, and will most definitely be staying at the Dollywood Cabins again. All the benefits at Dollywood from staying in the cabins are totally worth it, too! Seriously cannot give this place a high enough rating. Thanks to everyone over there!

The cabin was beautiful. Had a wasp problem under the hot tub which made getting in difficult. They tried to correct this but was unable to. The hot tub leaked on the swing below and they were unable to correct this as well. The place was clean except for the upper loft which was overlooked.
We did have a great time and they did respond when we called and the view was wonderful.

Really didn't know what I was getting into. It was an awesome experience. You have to spend a week to get the true experience. So much to do. Dollywood we will be back next year.

We loved our cabin and would come back sometime in the future.
The shower upstairs leaked down stain into the kitchen ceiling. But they did fix it a few days later, but nice enough to give back money for our tickets for Dollywood. The hot tube became a little green, but they also came to refill it.
Now the things that was a disappointment was both the sofa beds were so bad, to sit, you felt like you were going to sit on the floor and the bed part you felt the springs. We also was so happy that we got to see a bear come and get the whole bag of garbage out of the can and came back again later too. Thank you

We had a serious leak from the kitchen ceiling whenever someone took a shower upstairs. I don't think it was ever repaired. There is another leak from the hot tub. We were a little disappointed that the sheets and towels were of low quality. There were no facial tissues. Read more

It was absolutely gorgeous. The cabin was very relaxing and peaceful. The service was excellent. We got lost finding the cabin, and they sent someone to help us out. I would highly recommend this place. Excellent view of the mountains. When we went they had snow on them. I wish we could of stayed longer.
Not so Great Escape.

Great location, Great weekend with family and friends, Great cabin. Not so Great on the cleanliness. Found dirty utensils, shower curtain was caked with a soap hand print and had an open bar of soap from someone else and hot tub had a bunch of hair stuck to the drain. Customer service did take care of things for us so ended being top notch!

My wife, son, daughter, and I stayed at this cabin last weekend. We were not disappointed. The only thing I could request is a more detailed map to find up going up the mountain. We will be back to stay in the future!

The view from the cabin's balcony is indescribable. Having said that, the mattresses on the bed and pull out sleeper sofa were the quality of mattresses that hotels used back in the 1970's. The kids, and my husband, had a great time enjoying the game room, the hot tub and sitting and in rocking chair on the balcony watching the sun rise and set but...we all had sleep deprivation because we didn't get a good nights rest there. We are planning on going back to the area but this time we all agreed we would rather just stay in a hotel and get a good nights sleep. If they upgraded the mattreses and sleeper sofa, we would consider renting again but for the price forgo the Great Escape and get a hotel!
location trumps service

My first review ever just because I want others to know what to expect. The reservation was done by phone which was an easy and pleasant process. The check in wasn't as pleasant. The girl at the counter offered no recommendations or even asked if we wanted to do anything than stay in our cabin. We got to a cabin that was a lovely location but the cabin appeared it hadn't been used for a while which it was just ending a busy summer season. It was dusty and hot tub not even warm.I guess I expected more from the rental company with a grand name. The kids loved the amenities of the cabin, pool table and foosball which did make up somewhat for it not being so clean.

I knew by booking a Dollywood cabin I was paying a premium price but I was willing to pay a bit more because it was our first trip to the area. Pulling into the cabin I noticed a similar cabin across the street with a $99 per night price tag hanging from the door. Paying close to $300 per night for mine I expected to receive ammenties that were posh...they turned out to be a bit weathered. The cabin was clean and comfortable but did have a busted up phone and loose toliet seat. The porch swing was missing as well and there was only seating on the bottom deck. An ok lodging experience in the end but we where expecting a bit more for the premium price we paid.

You truelly got what you saw from the website pictures. The cabin was very clean. The ladies at checkin were fantastic! The park(s) tickets were a great bonus!! The best part was the Q-bot. That was worth the 100.00 ticket by itself. in only 4 hours we had ridden all rides that we wanted to ride. Wild Eagle was breath taking. You truely felt like a bird swooping down for prey. The only downfall that I have to speak of was the pull out couch mattress. It was very thin and not comfortable at all. Other than that I did not want to leave. Thank you for such a relaxing stay!! :)
What a great escape!

We loved our cabin, it had everything we needed and then some! It was wonderfully located to town and to Dollywood/Splash Country! The cbin was nice, clean, and the bed was so so comfy! I have to say the best thing about our stay would be the awsome cabin and the least liked part was the fact that we had to leave! Thank you Dollywood Vacations, See You again Soon!!!
