Lookout Lodge is in the perfect location! Overlooking Dollywood, we had a "front row" seat on our balcony to watch the fireworks display everynight! Someone told my husband at Dollywood that they spend $15,000 a night on the fireworks - we believe it. It was fantastic! We could see 2 of the roller coasters, and hear the Dollywood train's whistle - grown-ups and kids got a kick out of that. The cabin was beautiful - had everything we needed. We brought extra towels and dishtowels, which came in handy. The kids enjoyed the gameroom! The views from our cabin were breathtaking! God's great creation was on display. The mountains were so majestic. Would love to stay there again. The 6 nights we were there were not enough!
Would you recommend this vacation rental to a friend?

The pictures make this place look like it's in the mountains, and has some privacy and serene nature. I felt like that was far from the truth. We had 9 people in our party, 6 adults and 3 children and this is not the cabin we thought we were getting. These cabins at Dollywood are not private, they are almost piled on top of one another- and the foundations are so high for the views which are all of Dollywood, not the smoky park. The subdivision is ugly and vacant of trees and doesn't feel like you are in the woods at all. As soon as we began driving up the hill, I wished that we could have gone somewhere else. We had the nicest cabin there too, so I wouldn't go anywhere else here.
The inside of the cabin was nice, but small and cramped. They must have taken wide angeles pics when shooting the place. One of the bedrooms was a loft and completely open and were very much unaware of that at the time of booking. Also, they didn't provide things like enough soap, kleenex, hangers, and blankets. We had large beds, which were comfortable, but there was a sheet and a quilt that was very thin. We stayed there in January and we froze. There were no extra blankets in the closets either. It was very strange. Take your business elsewhere if you want the peace of the Smoky Mountains. If you want Dollywood, all the time- we could hear the rides every 10 minutes (the train's whistle) and that was noisy after the cuteness wore off. We missed nature even though we were supposed to be in it.
The hot tub was also off of a bedroom, so no one felt comfortable using it when they were in that room, etc.

Our family traveled to the Pigeon Forge area to celebrate Christmas. We stayed at Dollywood's cabin Lookout Lodge. The cabin was great! It was neat as a pin! 4 big bedrooms and the beds were so comfortable! It was even decorated for the holidays. We have stayed in many cabins in the area and this one was by far the best!

What a great group of people to work with. Very friendly and helpful when we checked in. They even contacted us the week before we left to make sure everything was in order and if there was anything else they could help us with. The cabin was beyond what the online pictures showed. Really nice game room, super nice bedrooms/baths and the view from the porches. Wow!!! We were at the top of the mountains and it was really neat to watch Dollywood come to life after dark.
Location and accommodations were great

We have been coming to Dollywood Cabins for several years, and we have never had a bad experience. Lookout Lodge is amazing. Breathtaking views of the Smokies and the Pigeon Forge parkway area. Add in the sounds coming up from Dollywood like the train and the rollercoasters, and it is a one-of-a-kind experience. The cabin was clean, beautiful and spacious. The game room kept all the kids occupied for hours. We will be back for years to come.

My siblings and I rented the Lookout Lodge for our yearly trip. There were eight of us, and we enjoyed the cabin very much and hope to return again. However, although the check-in itself was a breeze, the location of the check-in office was hard to find. Maybe there should be signs pointing the direction as you come into Pigeon Forge. But, overall we had a very good experience.

This is a very beautiful house that made our family feel right at home.. There were 5 adults and three children and we all felt very comfortable during our week long stay in this home. Our stay was during the week of Christmas and the house had very nice Christmas decorations along with a Christmas tree which made the Christmas experience much more fun. Our granddaughters did not want to leave and asked to stay just one more night!!! It is also very conveniently located near Dollywood. We bought the Christmas Memories Pass and the price paid for the pass is an exceptional value.

The service was excellent and the cabin was beautiful, spacious and had a spectacular view. We were at Dollywood cabins two weeks prior to this stat and liked it so much that we brought our family back to experience the smokey mountains.

Everything from the service to the condition of the cabin were first class. The location was great since we were at the Shades of the Past car show. The view and relaxing atmosphere would be the best while there was no least.

The view was the best part of the house. We found the floors very very dirty. When I called to complain no one called me back. Stopped in at office to complain and did not see a change in the floors. We also had a problem with our shower door that no one came to fix. We did not sit in the TV area in the lowest level because it stunk! More kitchen towels are needed and also more hand towels. Garbage need to be picked up during a 7 day stay. Read more
Thank you fior staying with us at Dollywood Vacations. After you initial report of the floors being dirty we sent a team to your cabin to reclean them. We had similar reports from other cabins and we were able to determine that the cleaning products we were using on the floors at that time were the source of the problem. We have changed floor cleaners and the problem has been eliminated.
We were not able to replicate the issue reported with the shower door. Our maintenance staff found the door to be function properly.

We are so glad that you had a wonderful visit with us. The ability to watch the roller coasters at Dollywood from the deck is one of my favorite things about that cabin. If you get a chance to visit over the 4th of July you can watch the Pigeon Forge fireworks from your deck.

Loved our stay at Lookout Lodge. We had a 70th birthday celebration with our kids and grandkids. It was perfect for our family of 8. The beds were comfortable with large bathrooms (what I look for first) and the view was great. Our family agreed that we should stay there again next year. Read more
