The cabin was very clean when we arrived. My family didn't want to leave. The game room provided entertainment for everyone all night. The cabin is only a few minutes from plenty activities and major attractions.

This is my second time staying in the Majestic Mountain cabin. I absolutely love the value of the cabin. It has incentivized me not to stay in the hotels in town. That plus the comfort and the view make this one of the only places I'll consider staying while in Pigeon Forge. All that being said, there were a few hiccups on the trip this year. The one thing I remember from my last stay there in 2011 is that the slot machine didn't work then and it still doesn't work now. Secondly, when we arrived, the door handle pulled right off. Maintenance came to fix it. After he left we realized he put the new handle on backwards. There was no ice in the freezer and ice machine was off. It would have been nice to have some when we got there. Also, one of the Foosball players legs were missing. Even with all that, we had an amazing time and look forward to coming back in the future.

Majestic mountain captures the incredible panorama of the Smokey Mountains. Perched highest on the hill, you are able to experience exclusive views of not only the rolling mountains but also downtown Pigeon Forge, below in the valley. Most every room offers a stunning view. Majestic mountain cabin offered everything we needed to endure the winter storm we experienced while visiting during January. While most cabins would feel small after only spending hours in them, majestic mountain was spacious, full of activities and kept us warm and safe. We enjoyed a great mixture of family and friends and majestic mountain offered plenty of space to accommodate all our needs. We can't wait to visit again in the fall. Read more
Thank you for taking the time to review Majestic Mountain. We take great pride in making sure that our guest have a one of a kind experience. If you come back in the fall you will see the fall leave change which is breathtaking that time of year. We look forward to seeing you on your return visit to the Smoky Mountains!
Cabin with a view!

We have stayed here for 2 years during Thanksgiving week. We love the view and the cleanliness of the cabin. The layout is amazing. It makes for great memories. It is in close proximity to all local attractions. Considering the price paid through Dollywood Vacations, you'd think they would give you something! Well, other than some candy that you can buy in Dollywood! They used to give two complimentary tickets-not any more. You do get free parking at Dollywood for your entire stay, but the tickets would be more of a service-again, considering the price paid!
The one bad thing is that you basically need a wrecker to get you out of the couch! You fall in if you're not careful!
Another issue is with Dollywood Vacations. Our coffee maker leaked and we called and were told someone would bring us a new coffee maker. Well, 2 days later, we went and got it ourselves. And they just had a coffee pot to give us, not the whole shebang. Also, it rained very hard one day and we noticed a leak over the kitchen sink. We called, and again, no one ever came to check it out.

Wonderful experience, awesome views and close to the strip

We had a great stay at the Majestic Mountain. The house was located to give phenomenal views especially the sunset off the porch. The beds are getting a little used, sagging. The couches were sunken in, and one bracket in the refrigerator was broken. The hot tub was great on the third floor balcony. We would choose to to stay here again! Being 4 miles to the strip was so handy for enjoying the entertainment. Also we took advantage of the Dollywood property to get a pass for Dollywood which was good for the entire stay. Wonderful.

The staff was great and very helpful getting us tickets to some of the area attractions. Our cabin was beautiful but we were a little disappointed that most of the games in the basement were either missing parts or didn't work but all-in-all our stay was very peaceful and relaxing. The kids loved the hot tub. We would definitely stay again but probably during a busier time so there are more teenagers around for our kids to socialize with.

Cabin is in dire need of repair, renovations, & upgrades. Several enticing things shown in web pics don't work or are broken. Outside stair banisters, deck boarding, & hammock are safety hazards!! Window blinds bent & won't close in places, fleas & spiders in beds. Hot tub didn't work for 2 days due to no serviceman being available. Most furniture is old & uncomfortable, dining room chairs felt like you're falling through the seat. Dishes in cabinets were filthy.
Not satisfied with the cabin we rented

The service was very good.
The cabin was advertised as being new, however the living room furniture was so worn you sank to the floor when sitting on it. The padded dining room chairs were so bad it felt like you were sitting in a hole . The futon was so stained it was digusting. Advertised many different games, in which half of them did not work. Had to have a repairman come and fix some of them. Some could not be fixed. Did not realize there were 2 complete sets of stairs to get onto the cabin ( approx. 20 steps).
The only good thing about the cabin was the location we-had a beautiful view and enjoyed the fireworks each night. We also like that it is only a 5 min. Drive to Dollywood.
This was out 3rd time renting a cabin and this is the 1st one that really did not live up to our expectations. Read more
Good Afternoon. I apologize that you did not enjoy your stay. This is not the impression that we want our guests to have. I will pass this information to our maintanence department to get these issues fixed as quickly as possibly. Thank you again for making us aware of these issues. We do hope that you do choose to stay with us again in the future.

Upon arrival at the office, we were greeted by two women who were happy to see us and helped us with our needs. The cabin is so far up the mountain that it did take us awhile to find it, after a few wrong turns. I think it would be nice if someone in maintenance met us at the bottom of the mountain and showed us where the cabin is located.
The cabin was beautiful inside and the views were awesome and just as beautiful as shown on the internet connection. The one thing that was disappointing was that some of the games were not working correctly. My son had to work on the karoke machine to get it to work. The basketball game was sort of a mess. The living room furniture springs seemed to be broken and it was very hard to sit in and get up from that furniture which was the main family room in the cabin. The hammock on the back porch has many broken support cords and we tried to lay in it, but it also was not in working condition.
The kitchen was supplied with every pot and pan we could ever use and the were a lot of dishes and silverware available for use.
We used the washing machine and dryer and they worked very well. There should be more "supplied" linens for a one week stay in a cabin that costs about $600 per night.
On our last night there, much to our surprise, fireworks exploded over Dollywood. Spectacular!! What a wonderful surprise ending to our vacation.
I left behind my pink jacket and upon emailing the office, I was told it would cost $18 to return it to me via Usps flat box. I know that is not the correct amount that Usps charges...so, I am very disappointed that my jacket was not returned for free as a courtesy in return for the $3,000 we paid for the cabin stay and also for the $1,000 we spent on tickets to Dollywood and Splash Mountain.

Majestic Mountain was a great place for our family. However, many of the amenities were not as they were pictured. The big screen TV did not work (volume), furniture was very worn, and some arcade items were not functional, hammock was covered in hair.

Brought my family for christmas, the location is awesome. The staff are always helpful. This was our second year at Dollywood Vacations for Christmas. My Family has already said they want to come back next year.
We would suggest cabin guests be allowed to enter through the old entrance, let the office staff issue the bar code tickets for the gate rather than have to go all the way around to the main gate.
A wonderful family retreat

Dollywood Vaccation's customer representatives were helpful and enjoyable to work with. My family loved the home we stayed in. The ameneties (game tables, hot tub, jacuzzis etc.) were so nice to have. The home is beautiful but very functional. Getting to the home was a little confusing, and the steep hills a little uncomfortable, but it is close to stores and to Patriot Park (with a nice running track) so everything felt very convenient. I loved being able to have the privacy of a home and the convenience of going and coming to Dollywood as we wanted to. We will do this again!
Absolutely wonderful! We'll be back again soon!

Excellent customer service from the staff; very friendly when we made our reservations and upon arrival. The cabin was stunning and had a great view of Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. We loved the convenient location of the cabin because we could go to Gatlinburg. Everything you needed from home (plates, electronics, glasses, etc.) is right there when you need them. All you have to bring is your suitcase and you!
It was very comfortable and luxurious.

Majestic Mountain was located beautifully. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed because we cooked at least two meals a day in the kitchen. It housed the eleven of us great. I do wish you would locate the hot tub to the second floor balcony since you have to impose on the third floor guest to access it.
Note: The housekeeping needs attention. The hammocks had lots of hair from previous guest on them. The bedrood floors where not vacuumed good. I still saw cereal and misc. items under the bed and bobby pins on the floor. Spider webs where under the kitchen cabinets and around the jacuzzi. The aC vents had so many crumbs in them since they were closed.

We blended two families together to enjoy the Dollywood experience. The cabin was beautiful, views are fantastic. It makes you realize the beauty of the Smokey Mountains. Every morning the views were totally different. All the games in the family room were the hit. We had all ages staying there and all enjoyed . I would totally recommend this cabin and the Dollywood rentals. Everyone was kind and helpful. If I could retire it would be here. Thanks to all at the rental office and all of Dollywood park. You all were kind and I could tell that you really loved your job.

This rental was to celebrate my dad's 85th birthday. We rented Majestic Mountain and my dad's wife rented Lookout Lodge. I would say the service from the office was very good, speedy and friendly. I was disappointed that the furniture at Majestic Mountain was in such poor shape. The hot tub cover was nearly in shreds, the outdoor furniture had old tags hanging out all over and was in need of some new cushions and the inside leather sofas had the bottom cushions which kept creeping out and we had to keep replacing them. There is an awful lot of huge furniture in a lot of small spaces so it makes it seem a bit cramped. But the view was wonderful. Also, there was a missing blind from a bedroom downstairs that they said could not be replaced!!! For the kind of money we paid to stay there (about $400./night) I was not happy with that. I paid less that that per night to stay at the Grand Bohemian Hotel in asheville with 5 star service and a fabulous !
We totally loved this cabin and will stay again in this exact ca

When we first arrived to this cabin,,we loved it immediately! The pics were very accurate and the view was awesome!! This has been the best cabin that we have ever stayed in while we have vacationed in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg over the years. We loved that we could see the roller coasters at Dollywood! We also liked buying one day admission tickets at Dollywood and getting the whole week for free. All in all,,you will not be disappointed if you stay at this cabin,,just don't stay the same time that we want too! :)

The service was great! The home is beautiful, comfortable, relaxing with awesome views. The kids enjoyed the game room and kept them busy. This home couldnt have been built in a better place. There is nothing we can say that we disliked because they are none. We enjoyed every bit of our stay and hope to return in the near future.

Butt Prints all over the windows - what a view!
Left on 07/04/2012 for a stay in June 2012 | Mom Traveling with 3 year old
The windows were in serious of need of cleaning - hot water from the hot tub was all over the windows fogging the view (which is why you pay the money to stay there) There were "butt" prints all over the windows as well which made for a very unpleasant view which I told the housekeepers about upon leaving so no one else had to hopefully look at that all week. Trash was under everything (couches, beds, etc) Beer bottles, water bottles and a smashed watermelon were the views if you looked down from the deck onto the back grounds. Convenient location, very friendly and helpful maintenanace (as the code I was given wouldnt work so we had to wait on the porch for 10 minutes until someone could come and set the code as it wasnt done properly) - ac worked great as it was 106 the whole time we were there. Photo online is old or very strategically photographed as there was cabins everywhere around you and you could see and be seen by at least 8 other balconies - it is not private at all as the photo suggests.

The cabin was very clean and spacious. The game room was a bonus to the kids and adults. Beds were very comfy, almost too much, lol. The only problem we had was we couldn't get the slot machine to work and the downstairs bathroom in the bedroom smelled like urine almost all the time. I would def. say wonderful things and stay again in the cabin. I like the perks you get for staying in the Dolly cabins...Thank you for one of the most fantastic vacations we have had in a long time.

We have stayed at Majestic Mountain several times. The lay-out of the lodge is perfect for a family with kids and grandkids. With the 5 King-size beds and 4.5 baths, everyone is happy and can have their own "suite".
