The cabin was great and the views amazing. We really had a great time. I was disappointed that the oven did not work properly and the ice maker did not work. Maybe I was expecting more paying over $700 for two nights.

Having seen the photos on their website, we decided to book mainly because of the views and facilities at the property. In the back of my mind, I never thought it could be as good as the photographs depicted - so my expectations weren't especially high.
We arrived at the reception to pick up our keys and were promptly assisted by someone at the desk. We were given clear instructions of how to get to the cabin and apart from one small error (caused by us) we arrived at the cabin about 10 minutes later.
The cabin is at the top of a steep dirt track which can be a little nerve racking the first time you navigate it, but soon becomes second nature. It also adds to the excitement. Being at the top, the track ends at the property but gives enough space to turn the vehicle around. For that reason, there is no through traffic which makes it even more private.
My first impressions were to be knocked (almost) speechless by the look and positioning of the cabin. It is built right on the side of the mountain and has an entirely wooden structure. We walked through the door and made our way to the porch out back to compare the views with the photographs on the website. To my absolute amazement - they didn't just compare - they completely blew them away. We could see miles and miles of forest, coloured blue by the 'smoke' that sat on top of the trees.
The cabin had three floors and was as advertised on the website. I was staying with a group of five people and it was extremely spacious with all of us in it. The three bedrooms all had their own bathrooms, and there was a huge games room on the lower level containing air hockey, table football, a playstation and more. There was also a grand bedroom on the upper level which had its own hot tub.
The place was clean and everything seemed to work. We also had a BBQ outside in the yard which we put to good use one evening, and there was a hot tub out on the upper back porch which was in good repair. To top it off, the place offered free wi-fi, which worked seamlessly.
I would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area. It's about 10 minutes drive to the main attractions in Pigeon Forge, and about the same distance to Dollywood. -

Our first inpression of Seerenity Now was diffinately OMG, and that was just to get to the cabin. After travelling 9 hours to get there, it was truly nerve wracking to drive up the side of the mountain to get to the cabin. We were not informed of the degree of asent that we would be making. It is mandatory that low gear is ued both going up and coming down. After the initial shock and a good learning curve, it was no big deal. The isolation of the cabin was just what we were lookingfor and it was a wonderful get-a-way. When I told staff about a leak in the hot tub, it was fixed that day. The check in was just great, as always. This was our 3rd visit to the cabins and we have scheduled a cabin for December already.

My family stayed in the Serenity Now cabin in July 2012. It was our first trip to the area and we were excited. As soon as we got there, we could tell the cabin was not what we were expecting. First off, the pictures on the website had shown carpet in the living room but it had a wood floor. The place was dirty. There were burned out light bulbs. Two of the bathroom doors didn't lock, which is an issue when you are vacationing with extended family or friends. One of the bedroom doors didn't shut (the door was too big). The upstairs bedroom had a "window" which was more of an opening into the main living area. This meant any and all noise traveled into that room. Not great when some want to go to bed and others want to stay up. Speaking of sound travel, the upper level floor was so thin that you could hear everything said in the bedroom below it. There weren't enough pillow cases. We called to ask for more but were told they didn't have any extras. Heck, the pillow cases we had were standard size and about half of the pillows were king size pillows.
If we were to return to the area, we definitely would not be staying at the Serenity Now cabin. In fact, we probably wouldn't stay in any of them. Perhaps we didn't realize how "rustic" they would be.
I did want to comment on the places we visited. We enjoyed Dollywood and Splash Country. The Christmas Place was outstanding! It exceeded our expectations! The Partridge and Pear restaurant was very nice.

We booked this cabin for our annual "Grand adventure," on which my grandmother takes all of her grandchildren on a trip. We had 4 adults and 2 children, and this cabin met our needs perfectly!! My husband and I had privacy in the upstairs loft bedroom, while the kids had their own apartment on the lower level, complete with bunk beds, their own TV, and air hockey and foosball! Serenity Now is a little ways off the beaten path (expect about 10-15 minutes to Dollywood), but it is definitely worth it! It sits on the top of a mountain, with amazing views any time of day! We all enjoyed waking up to see the "blue smoke" rising up off the mountains! Clean, well-kept, beautiful... This cabin has it all! We have all agreed that we would book this cabin again in a heartbeat!
Oh! After seeing the "Ease of Check-In" category below, I must say that we arrived earlier than the posted check-in time, but our check-in process was still smooth and wonderful. Then, while sitting in the parking lot deciding what to do to burn the time before our cabin was ready, the person working the desk came out to our car to let us know that she had called and the cabin was in fact ready. Way to go beyond the call of duty! Amazing!

Kalkaska, MIIncredible view and secluded
Left on 07/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012
The view from the cabin was simply amazing. It is the highest cabin in the area and we felt secluded. I liked that the cabin was at the end of the road and no vehicles drove by.
We found the cabin to be well maintained with a few exceptions.
- The higher windows were dirty and needed to be washed.
- The outdoor furniture was weathered and needed a fresh coat of varnish.
- The hot tub light did not function.
- A previous visitor locked their pet in the upstairs bathroom and the door was all scratched up.
My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom, which is in the loft. We loved the room, but it was not very private as it overlooked the main living area.
