Nice view but remote and rustic with lots of bugs inside and bees on porches so take many cans of bug spray with you. Best view we have had but have been twice before to the Starr Crest resort which is much cleaner, safer and nicer. We wanted to branch out and try a different cabin than we had before and were a little let down. Still enjoyed our stay and will be back to Dollywood each year. The owner of this property needs to invest in new carpet, better window sealant and screens, and must get rid of the cobwebs in every room and under the beds. I think while it is a nice cabin in a remote location for privacy it was too dirty and rustic for our taste. Those who enjoy more of an outdoor feel like sleeping in a tent will enjoy this much more.

This cabin had such great potential. We arrived at night & the drive was 6 miles from the main road up very steep incline. This was ok & expected.
Here is the clincher. No water!! Called security, they called pigeon forge utility co. No results! Plumber came next morning & repaired. However water would cut off couple of times when in shower. We just dealt with that.
Property manager was very nice & gave us refund for first night stay.
Blinds need replacing. No blind on front door.
Carpet is dirty. On the positive side there is lots of room & will accommodate large family nicely. Staff very nice & helpful.
Would use dollywood cabins again but different one.

What a awesome view at "Serenity Now". My family of eight had a great vacation experience and the cabin was comfortable. There is need of some repairs: lock box cover falls off inside when opening door, carpet in basement and basement steps is needing to be replaced if cleaning doesn't work and the water shuts off when in use. You wait a few seconds and it does come back on, not sure what's going on with it.

Great cabin overall. The kids had a great time. One thing that bothered me was the back door looked like it had been kicked in. It had wood missing around the lock on the inside. We also found a scorpion in the downstairs bathroom the last morning we were there. I didn't even know they had scorpions in Tennessee. The drive up the mountain was a little unnerving if you do not live in the mountains. It is very steep.

Breathtaking Views of the Great Smoky Mountains

The Serenity Now cabin offers spectacular views of the Great Smoky Mountains from the moment you walk in the door. From all three of the home's levels the view is maximized with large windows. The main floor's open floorplan allows you to continue to take in the breathtaking views even while cooking. Two levels of porches offer even more ways to take in the view from the hot tub to the rocking chairs to the picnic table.
This is also one of the few cabins in the area that is quite secluded. You are not surrounded by other cabins right on top of you like many other cabins in the area. There is also ample parking for several vehicles right by the cabin.
The game room has air hockey and foosball tables to keep the kids (and adults) entertained as well as TV and wii game system.
The only drawbacks we noticed during our stay were minimal. First, there is no exhaust fan for the stove so the smoke detector was set off once while cooking bacon for our group of nine. Opening the front and back door to allow a cross breeze takes care of most of the problem although some flying pests may find their way in as well. There is absolutely no yard so if you have children that would like to stretch their legs they'll have to play in the (spacious) parking area. However, with all the area activities, we really didn't miss a yard at all. And lastly, the circular street that leads to the Serenity Now driveway is supposed to be "One Way" however it is not marked that way and we met other drivers coming the opposite direction several times which is awkward since the street is only one lane wide.
When we had an issue with the clothes dryer, the folks at Dollywood Vacations were quick to send a maintenance person out to repair it. Overall, this was one of our favorite vacation rental properties we have ever had. If you have a large group looking for a place to stay near Pigeon Forge, we highly recommend Serenity Now.
Best vacation ever

It was best vacation ever. House was every bit what they have shown in picture. View was breathtaking and amazing. Could sit for hours on deck and look at mountains. Carry lot of bug spray as you will need it. There were mosquitos in the house but that was minor problem.

Guests should be warned about the bear living on the mountain above the cabin. We left the car door open for a few moments while packing, and the bear entered the car (with no damage). Children should not be allowed outside alone.
It was just breath taking.

The cabin was great and the views amazing. We really had a great time. I was disappointed that the oven did not work properly and the ice maker did not work. Maybe I was expecting more paying over $700 for two nights. Read more

Our first inpression of Seerenity Now was diffinately OMG, and that was just to get to the cabin. After travelling 9 hours to get there, it was truly nerve wracking to drive up the side of the mountain to get to the cabin. We were not informed of the degree of asent that we would be making. It is mandatory that low gear is ued both going up and coming down. After the initial shock and a good learning curve, it was no big deal. The isolation of the cabin was just what we were lookingfor and it was a wonderful get-a-way. When I told staff about a leak in the hot tub, it was fixed that day. The check in was just great, as always. This was our 3rd visit to the cabins and we have scheduled a cabin for December already.
Not sure I would call it serenity.

My family stayed in the Serenity Now cabin in July 2012. It was our first trip to the area and we were excited. As soon as we got there, we could tell the cabin was not what we were expecting. First off, the pictures on the website had shown carpet in the living room but it had a wood floor. The place was dirty. There were burned out light bulbs. Two of the bathroom doors didn't lock, which is an issue when you are vacationing with extended family or friends. One of the bedroom doors didn't shut (the door was too big). The upstairs bedroom had a "window" which was more of an opening into the main living area. This meant any and all noise traveled into that room. Not great when some want to go to bed and others want to stay up. Speaking of sound travel, the upper level floor was so thin that you could hear everything said in the bedroom below it. There weren't enough pillow cases. We called to ask for more but were told they didn't have any extras. Heck, the pillow cases we had were standard size and about half of the pillows were king size pillows.
If we were to return to the area, we definitely would not be staying at the Serenity Now cabin. In fact, we probably wouldn't stay in any of them. Perhaps we didn't realize how "rustic" they would be.
I did want to comment on the places we visited. We enjoyed Dollywood and Splash Country. The Christmas Place was outstanding! It exceeded our expectations! The Partridge and Pear restaurant was very nice.
Serenity Now is tops!

We booked this cabin for our annual "Grand adventure," on which my grandmother takes all of her grandchildren on a trip. We had 4 adults and 2 children, and this cabin met our needs perfectly!! My husband and I had privacy in the upstairs loft bedroom, while the kids had their own apartment on the lower level, complete with bunk beds, their own TV, and air hockey and foosball! Serenity Now is a little ways off the beaten path (expect about 10-15 minutes to Dollywood), but it is definitely worth it! It sits on the top of a mountain, with amazing views any time of day! We all enjoyed waking up to see the "blue smoke" rising up off the mountains! Clean, well-kept, beautiful... This cabin has it all! We have all agreed that we would book this cabin again in a heartbeat!
Oh! After seeing the "Ease of Check-In" category below, I must say that we arrived earlier than the posted check-in time, but our check-in process was still smooth and wonderful. Then, while sitting in the parking lot deciding what to do to burn the time before our cabin was ready, the person working the desk came out to our car to let us know that she had called and the cabin was in fact ready. Way to go beyond the call of duty! Amazing! Read more
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Serenity Now does have a gorgeous view. Im glad that our employees in the check in office made it an easy process for you. We do hope that you can and stay with us again soon. Have a great day!
Incredible view and secluded

The view from the cabin was simply amazing. It is the highest cabin in the area and we felt secluded. I liked that the cabin was at the end of the road and no vehicles drove by.
We found the cabin to be well maintained with a few exceptions.
- The higher windows were dirty and needed to be washed.
- The outdoor furniture was weathered and needed a fresh coat of varnish.
- The hot tub light did not function.
- A previous visitor locked their pet in the upstairs bathroom and the door was all scratched up.
My wife and I stayed in the master bedroom, which is in the loft. We loved the room, but it was not very private as it overlooked the main living area.
