Great little cabin high in the mountain top that had a very nice view of the surrounding mountains! Getting there is a little tricky as it sits atop the mountain so there is a lot of winding roads and blind curves not for the faint of heart. The cabin only had one real bed and two sofa beds (both of which are very thin and uncomfortable). The one thing that irritated me was the lack of pillow cases for the stained pillows and stained sofa mattresses. The upstairs toilet leaks, all of the cheap faucet handles in kitchen, tubs and sinks leak while turning the water on and off. The faucet on the tub upstairs leaked the most having to clean up water around it every time while using. Other than the lack of quality and cleanliness on the sleeping arrangementsarrangements the cabin was really nice and offered some superb mountain views!
Excellent cabin with world class views!

Moose Tracks cabin is excellent. Everything in the place works and was clean. The pool table and foosball table were a huge hit with our kids--no video games!
I would caution anyone that the upstairs bath does not provide any privacy. There is only a bamboo curtain over the soaking/whirlpool tub so that you can enjoy the mountain views. That's great if you don't bring the kids, but not so much otherwise. The sofa sleepers are both showing their age and the mattresses are not suitable for even a 50 lb 8 year old to sleep on. She slept on top of the couch and our teen slept on bedding on the floor.
Overall this was an excellent experience. We will come back again. Next time, we'll bring blow up mattresses for the kids.
This cabin has beautiful views of the mountains!

My husband and I have stayed in several of the cabins from Dollywood Cabins. This is a great cabin, but, wasn't our favorite. It is great for just a couple, but would be cramped if you had children. It was just us and we felt cozy. I prefer to only spend $99 a night because they charge extra fees for everything it seems. On the other hand, these are good quality cabins. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

This is a very nice cabin, small, but very comfortable and has all the extras. We absolutely love the mountain view! The combination with Dollywood was very convenient and Dollywood made it easy. Close proximity to all the Sevierville, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg attractions. We will look forward to returning to this cabin in the future. Highly recommended!

The Moose Tracks is the one bedroom cozy cabin overlooking the Smoky Mountains. Although there are other Dollywood cabins next to this and all around at the very top of the road, you feel like you are by yourselves. The kitchen was immaculate and equipt with everything for cooking -- we just brought food. The entire place was so clean -- including the hot tub and hot tub in bathroom upstairs in the play room. There were two sofabeds -- one downstairs in the livingroom and the other in the loft/playarea. The fireplace is not real -- electric, but a cute add-in. The spiral staircase added a nice touch and the kids loved it! Don't expect a yard though...you are on a cliff. My family was melancholic when we had to leave...the ride back to NY was quiet for a while. Next time we may get the two bedrooms, but definitely in this area! This beats any of the hotels in the Pigeon Forge area! It's near all the fun things -- Dollywood, Splash Park, Foxwood Zip-lining and Gatlinburg! We can't wait to go back! Thank you Dollywood Cabins for such a nice vacation! My 13 year old and 8 year old were so happy!
Best vacation yet!

We have been to Disney tons of times and camping on the mountains in Georgia, but Dollywood cabins and theme park have been by far our best and most fun vacation between the awesome clean cabin to the friendliest and cleanest theme park to the hiking in the smokey mountain national park.

Check in and Check out was a breeze. We purchased passes to Dollywood and Splash Country through the package and they were well worth it! The cabin was beautiful and clean and the location was perfect.

My husband & I were blown away with this vacation!! We normally cruise & this one was a last minute decision due to a fire on our ship!! I am truly able to say that our delight in arriving at our cabin Moose Tracks & seeing the view, all the amenities that were available for us was not a let down at all.
It did rain some while we were there but it rains over the 4th of July ! We played games together, watched the fog roll in, took hikes, even used the fire place twice ! The cabin was so lovely & made us feel like we belonged! We enjoyed the hot tub & the swing on the deck. So peaceful, tranquil !!
We have been thinking about purchasing our own because it was so relaxing!!

The service we received from Dollywood Vacations was outstanding. They were prepared for our arrival, accommodated us quickly, and took the guess work out of the entire process. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family of four. The website stated it would accommodate up to six people but there was only one private bedroom and then two pull-out sofas in common areas. (These sofa beds were very uncomfortable for the adults but worked well with the teens). The location was easy to find and only minutes away from local attractions such as Dollywood, Splash Country, shopping, and restaurants. The cabin was located at the end of a quiet drive with an amazing unobstructed view of the mountains in the distance. It was peaceful and beautiful. The decor was casual and comfortable and there were several great amenities such as a hottub, whirlpool tub, dishwasher, full-sized refrigerator, pool table, and washer/dryer combo. We did have access to a swimming pool but it was located in another area requiring a few minutes drive from the cabin. The only complaint would be the lack of cleanliness of the wood flooring in the cabin when we arrived. It was a bit dusty with remnants of the former tenants or cleaning staff on the floor. Apparently someone who visted prior to us was loosing her long black hair. That problem was resolved quickly with the swipe of the broom provided in the cabin but it would have been nice not to begin my vacation with sweeping the floor. Overall, it was a beautiful cabin in a beautiful location which made for a beautiful family vacation.
Better Than any Hotel

My girlfriend and I wanted to spend a weekend in May at Dollywood, and a bit of research turned up a package deal with Dollywood Cabins. We'd never stayed with them before, but Moose Tracks looked like an interesting cabin for a good deal, so we booked it.
The cabin was nothing short of incredible. A great view of the Great Smokies, combined with a fantastically appointed cabin. The bed was one of the comfiest I've ever slept on, the whirlpool tub was amazing, and the interior decorations made it feel like home, more so than any hotel room. Had we known ahead of time it came with a fully appointed kitchen, complete with a full set of pots & pans, we'd have come with a cooler full of ingredients and probably never left.
Checking in was also easy and pain-free. I didn't realize that Dollywood Cabins has two offices, the main office by Dollywood Park's employee entrance and a smaller one further down the road. My GPS sent me to the smaller office instead of the main one, but the staff there was very friendly and got me checked in nonetheless, handed me a clear and well-written instruction set for finding and unlocking the cabin, and had me on my way in no time at all. Checking out was as simple as following their printed instructions and then hitting the road to return home.
Overall, the experience surpassed all my expectations. Great service, great cabin, great deal. Whenever I return to Pigeon Forge, I'll be sure to stay with Dollywood Cabins again.

We rented this cabin for our honeymoon. The view was amazing and the cabin was the perfect size for us. The location was close to most of the major attractions.
Highly recommend for a couple!

It was great to get away for a couple of days just to recharge - no alarm clock, no kids (we have 1 teenager & 2 house dogs!), & no demands. Booking the cabin & check-in was smooth & easy. We actually go into our cabin a little early so we could enjoy it more. Moose Tracks is well kept & cozy. The dinner we ordered with our cabin for delivery was delivered promptly at the time we requested & was absolutely devine! Dollywood always kindles my Christmas Spirit! I hope to return to Moose Tracks & Dollywood early next year too!

This was a beautiful cabin. It had breathtaking views from every angle. The amenities of hot tub, pool table and porch swing added to the enjoyment of the entire family. The kids didn't even want to leave the cabin to go to the amusements in town! It is a perfect retreat for a family of 4 - 5! Drawbacks were, the pool is located pretty far away...like a 10-15 minute drive. It was easier and nicer to go to splash country. Also, with this being a cabin rental, there is not maid service or "pool towels" provided. These were not major inconveniences... Amenities and great view outweighed these drawbacks.
Wonderful, just wonderful.

Everything was great with our stay, my only complaint being that there wasnt enough laundry, dish washing detergents, or coffee to cover our stay. I know it can easily be purchased but then you have to pack the remainder back. Everything about the cabin was superior to anything I can compare it to relating to a mountain get away. Staff was friendly, place was clean, the pool table and hot tub were nice, just a great time.
Just a heads up, I did kill a black widow spider in the cabin! Doesnt bother me I know what to look for, but someone else may be unnerved. and the garden tubs water came out a bit colored, like the fittings were rusted inside or something.??
Thank you very much, and have a good day.

The view was great and everything we needed was there. The cabin was very clean and up to our expectations of Dollywood. The cabin was more private than most because it is on the end and no one is on the side or back .
We enjoyed the new 40" TV and our grandson played pool for hours.

How can someone give an honest review, when You wont submit it all...due to length. so the honest and short version is this. Loved the location. Very scenic and quiet setting. The cabin itself was very cute. The overall experience was positive, but certianly not great. There were several things that just were not right, and unfortunately, those are the things that stick with you.
We arrived early, couldnt check in! We received the normal paperwork, and were then told there was no pool in our area of the cabin(one of the reasons we booked it). We had to drive several miles off the mountain to go another part of their rental units to use the pool. That was very inconvenient, and would have just rented a cabin in that area instead. Another thing was the actual cleanliness of the cabin. the doors were all full of dust, there were dead bugs on the couch, and under the sofas. light bulbs were out, and the beautuful view with the hot tub on the deck, was just that. try using it with a huge swarm of big black bumble bees all over because there is a nest in the roof above it!!! A trip to the nearby walmart, and I was on pest control every time trying to kill them as my daughters were in the hot tub. Not at all what i wanted to be doing on my vacation. Carpenters were building a deck on the unit two doors down from us, so there went the peace and quiet for the last three days of the trip. I guess I expected a better accomidation??? not sure really, because its not like it was super cheap!
As far as Dollywood itself goes, I cant tell you much more, there is a character limit! Read more
Thank you for staying with us at Dollywood Vacations. I am saddened that your stay did not live up to your expectations. We allow our guests to check in as soon as the cabin ready. If the front desk would not allow you to check in it was because the cabin was not ready. The construction nearby and the bees outside are two items that are out of our control. The carpenter bees (commonly mistaken for bumble bees) are a nuisance in this area during the spring and early summer. They bore into the wood on log cabins and wood sided buildings and there is little that can be done to prevent this. We manage cabins in a large geographic area and unfortunately not every cabin is in close proximity to a swimming pool. In the future please mention that close pool access is a priority for your group and we will help you select a suitable cabin.
