The cabin was just as pictured. Very clean and comfortable. There were a few minor issues such as we could not figure out how to get the large screen tv to work. There were 5 different remotes next to it and none seemed to work. Parking was problematic. It is located on a very steep incline with no way to turn around or maneuver. Also the mile drive up the mountain to the cabin can be a but scary if you are not used to it. By our third day we were pros. I am very glad we had a SUV to navigate the road
Staff at check in we're fantastic and very helpful. My whole family (even my teenager) loved the cabin, the area, and the whole vacation.
It was a nice stay but not awesome.

The dishwasher was broken. Very little light in the kitchen. The mattresses on the two sleeper sofas were so bad that we couldn't use them. We ended up with an air mattress at our expense. The views posted online were deceptive because the house actually overlooks rooftops. When we arrived for check in at 3:50PM, we were told that it wasn't ready and that we would be called when ready even though check in was at 4. While we did get in a little after 4, the receptionist was incredibly rude regarding the estimated time of our check in.
Love Dollywood cabins!!!

Dollywood cabins are our go-to destination when visiting Tennessee. We are confident that we will always arrive to a clean, comfortable cabin that exceeds our expectations. The views are amazing, the beds are comfortable, and there is always more then enough space for us! The amenities are great for all ages so at some point we plan to host a mini family reunion with my nephews ages 7 & 10.
I'm torn between going next time for a romantic getaway or bringing my nephews and having a family vaca...either way I suggest grabbing groc, clothes, and your bath goods and just plan to lock yourselves in for a few days. Cookware, bath towels, etc are very plentiful and well thought out to make your stay enjoyable. Our recent cabin had jacuzzi tubs in 2 rooms, a hot tub, pool table, pin ball, football, and arcade game!!
Our last stay was 2 years ago (to the date) and since then the downtown Pigeon Forge (?) area was super built up and very commercialized compared to our last visit. We were overwhelmed and disappointed about the town itself... However, you could never get bored down there... Lots of shows, shops, museums , etc. if that is your thing.
We have yet to make if to the Dollywood theme park, but honestly, we are just happy to enjoy the quiet laid back cabins and escape fr the everyday hustle and bustle.
When shopping the area for cabins we have seen more "affordable" options, however , we have had such great experiences with the Dollywood cabins exceeding our expectations that we are just more comfortable booking with them. I hope that our experiences never change . :)
Pinnacle View has a lot steps so I would not suggest this cabin if traveling with elderly companions or anyone with issues climbing stairs...
warm and cozy with plenty of room for the whole cannily

Service was good, although the hot tub had not been turned on. But someone came right away to turn it on.
beautiful cabin, warm in the mid-section, but cold downstairs and upstairs.
We liked having the pool table, arcade, etc. but it was hard to use the big screen TV since the batteries in the remote were dead.
I like these cabins, but better attention to details would sure make it a better vacation! Read more

Our stay in Pigeon Forge was wonderful but the cabin was horribl

Pigeon Forge is a wonderful place our family visits multiple times each year. We decided that since we love DollyWood, Dixie Stampede and other Dolly events that we would try the DollyWood Cabins. Our cabin was filthy, smelled and was in the middle of too many cabins. We had to clean the cabin just to stay there. The beds were old, linens were bad, and there was mold on the ceiling. The cabin in our balcony view had trash, junk and abandoned cars in the driveway. The instructions were incorrect. The office staff was kind and somewhat helpful but uninformed. Because of the connection with DollyWood we will try this company again but only if we have a better guarantee from management. Sincerely, Dissatisfied Cabin Renter

The service from the staff was excellent. The cabin was nice and clean and looked just as it did in the pictures. The view from the back porch was amazing. The only drawback was not much parking space. I would definitely recommend this cabin.
Everything was great and we enjoyed every moment.

Pnnacle View - a wonderful experience!

We had six friends who wanted to enjoy Dollywood's Christmas celebration. Pinnacle View was perfect for our group consisting of all adults. We were able to ve there just before the fall leaves were gone and the view was spectacular. The cabin is situated with a group of other cabins, but that didn't hurt the view. The website photos are creatively made to look as if the cabin has a completely unobstructed view, and there were cabins in front of it, but that did not take away from the magnificent view. The parking is far from ideal if your group has several cars, but we had no problem with three cars. The drive to the cabin is quite steep at times and my 4 cylinder SUV had to really work.
The kitchen was better equipped than I had expected. We shared several meals in the cabin and had everything we needed. The only drawback to dining was that the table would only seat six - no problem for us, but for a cabin that sleeps 11, it could be a problem. If there are children with you, they will probably want to eat in the game room upstairs. The four full bathrooms was a plus and everyone commented how comfortable the beds were. Mine was better than what I have at home!
We would not hesitate to stay there again. The Dollywood staff were very friendly - check-in was very simple and you don't even need to stop at the office upon check-out unless you have a problem.
Overall everyone in our group had a great time. We loved the Christmas shows at Dollywood and the cabin was a great place to return 'home' each evening!

Check in staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. The home was really nice, but had no parking space. The game room is on the top floor which made the house very noisy with kids playing. Bottom floor bedrooms were really cold.
Pinnacle View - Cabin - Good but not great

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the cabin. With 3 families it was hard for everyone to sit together since seating was for 6 or less on both levels. Bedrooms were either freezing or very warm, couldn't get the heat/air to keep a steady temp. For that reason I would not recommend, seemed like the upstairs aC never worked. That area was always warm. I liked the Dollywood cabin service we got, I'm not sure I would choose this cabin again.

I can't say enough about our stay in this cabin. The check in staff were friendly and helpful with every question we had. My husband and I are both "princesses" when it comes to accommodations - we are incredibly picky and fussy . We were thrilled when we entered the cabin and went through it from top to bottom. There was nothing that did not meet with our approval.
The bedrooms are generously sized and the mattresses, while not new, are in good shape and comfortable enough that we slept without issue. The cabin was also very clean and the view was not to be beaten - it is at the top of the mountain and while there are other cabins around, nothing can detract from the view.
While the pics make it look bigger than it really is, the size was fine for us. The ad also indicated the cabin will sleep up to 11 people which may be true but the 4 of us who were in our group were very comfortable and I can't imagine I would have been happy with another 7 people staying there.
The games room was great and gave us plenty to do. The only issues were that the volume on the pinball machine was excessively loud and carried through to the level below and did not appear to be adjustable. In addition, the TV in the loft area on a couple of nights would make a popping sound and then shut off without explanation. We learned quickly that if we unplugged the set from the wall and then plugged it back in, it would start working again but it kept going off every so often which got annoying when we were watching a show. Also we had brought some Dvd's with us to watch in the evening and the DVD player did not work at all and because of the way the TV on the main level was mounted it was impossible to connect my computer to the TV to be able to watch the Dvds or to use Netflix. The upper level TV was an older model that did not allow for connecting a computer. These issues, however were only a minor inconvenience and did not detract from our visit or enjoyment.
Wonderful time in a Dollywood cabin.

My grandchildren loved the game room. There was something for kids of all ages. The view was beautiful, and the cabin had everything we could ask for. Check-in was also a quick and pleasant experience. I am already planning another trip in September.

We enjoyed the three levels to help divide the bedrooms from the game room. The views were great and we had all of the necessary ammenities. Unfortunately the cabin had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while as there were spider webs over many of the light fixtures, accumulated dust and bugs in the windows, and an assortment of items left throughout the cabin from previous guests. Overall a great value and the kids loved the game room.
convenient with an awesome view

Cabin was pretty much as described. We were able to sleep eight but I do not think 11 persons (as advertised in description of cabin) would have been comfortable. All amenities were there. The best thing about the cabin is the wonderful view of the Smoky Mts. Really breathtaking. Cleanliness was generally good with the exception of the shower curtain in the master bath which needed replacement badly. The staff responded quickly to replace it. The light in the laundry room never worked although maintenance came to look at it and pronounced it in working order. The check-in staff was cordial and responsive when we had a problem. The lack of chairs on the decks was a decided drawback. There were only two chairs (rather wobbly) on the middle deck and no chairs at all on the other two. It is hard to enjoy that wonderful view from the deck without adequate seating. The road to the cabin was quite steep so caution is clearly advisable. Once there, parking in front of the cabin is somewhat limited. The cabin is very convenient to everything that might be of interest to visitors.
Just an ok stay

I rented a Dollywood cabin two years ago and it was fabulous - clean, and everything in working order. This cabin was dusty, and the hot tub was broken and dirty. There was a pinball machine, which was nice, but it was unbelievably loud. Also, there was no clear parking spot for cabin residents, which caused a bit of a problem.
Great family experience.

My first impression of Pinnacle View was disappointment in that it was located in the midst of a small subdivision, leaving little privacy on the decks and requiring windows to remain covered on either side of the cabin.
The cabin sleeps 11 but there is not enough comfortable seating for all the family to enjoy a movie together. The inside was adequate but a bit tired and worn. The dishwasher did not work well. There were no extra amenities by way of movies or board games. We experienced a powerful thunderstorm while there that kept our power off for 8 hours. It never occurred to us to pack candles. Wish there had been a little emergency kit tucked away somewhere. For the price we paid for this rental I expected more of a luxury home and not a cabin in a subdivision with no access to a pool.
Having said all that, our family of 4 adults and 2 children under 12 had a great family vacation. We were close to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, but far enough away to enjoy the beauty and quiet of the mountains. The folks at Dollywood Vacations were pleasant and helpful, including security who came to check on us after the storm. The neighbors in nearby cabins were friendly and considerate. Just wish I hadn't paid such a premium.

This was a very nice log home with plenty of room for 4 adults and our five grandkids, the game extra's came in handy. Only down fall no pool access.
Beautiful view, loved all the amenities.

I would rent this cabin again if I were to come back to the area. It is very roomy. We had a family of 8 stay in it and there was plenty of room. Everyone had their own space which was great!

Wonderful view. It would have been nice to have some more comfortable chairs on the balconies to enjoy the views and blinds on the door directly across from the master bedroom for privacy.

Overall this cabin was nice. The view was spectacular and the house was very clean. There were some nails up on the stairs that created some problems but nothing a hammer can't fix. We have already decided that we will definitely stay here again.
