My grandchildren loved the game room. There was something for kids of all ages. The view was beautiful, and the cabin had everything we could ask for. Check-in was also a quick and pleasant experience. I am already planning another trip in September.

We enjoyed the three levels to help divide the bedrooms from the game room. The views were great and we had all of the necessary ammenities. Unfortunately the cabin had not been thoroughly cleaned in a while as there were spider webs over many of the light fixtures, accumulated dust and bugs in the windows, and an assortment of items left throughout the cabin from previous guests. Overall a great value and the kids loved the game room.

Cabin was pretty much as described. We were able to sleep eight but I do not think 11 persons (as advertised in description of cabin) would have been comfortable. All amenities were there.The best thing about the cabin is the wonderful view of the Smoky Mts. Really breathtaking. Cleanliness was generally good with the exception of the shower curtain in the master bath which needed replacement badly. The staff responded quickly to replace it. The light in the laundry room never worked although maintenance came to look at it and pronounced it in working order. The check-in staff was cordial and responsive when we had a problem. The lack of chairs on the decks was a decided drawback. There were only two chairs (rather wobbly) on the middle deck and no chairs at all on the other two. It is hard to enjoy that wonderful view from the deck without adequate seating. The road to the cabin was quite steep so caution is clearly advisable. Once there, parking in front of the cabin is somewhat limited. The cabin is very convenient to everything that might be of interest to visitors.

I rented a Dollywood cabin two years ago and it was fabulous - clean, and everything in working order. This cabin was dusty, and the hot tub was broken and dirty. There was a pinball machine, which was nice, but it was unbelievably loud. Also, there was no clear parking spot for cabin residents, which caused a bit of a problem.

My first impression of Pinnacle View was disappointment in that it was located in the midst of a small subdivision, leaving little privacy on the decks and requiring windows to remain covered on either side of the cabin.
The cabin sleeps 11 but there is not enough comfortable seating for all the family to enjoy a movie together. The inside was adequate but a bit tired and worn. The dishwasher did not work well. There were no extra amenities by way of movies or board games. We experienced a powerful thunderstorm while there that kept our power off for 8 hours. It never occurred to us to pack candles. Wish there had been a little emergency kit tucked away somewhere. For the price we paid for this rental I expected more of a luxury home and not a cabin in a subdivision with no access to a pool.
Having said all that, our family of 4 adults and 2 children under 12 had a great family vacation. We were close to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, but far enough away to enjoy the beauty and quiet of the mountains. The folks at Dollywood Vacations were pleasant and helpful, including security who came to check on us after the storm. The neighbors in nearby cabins were friendly and considerate. Just wish I hadn't paid such a premium.

This was a very nice log home with plenty of room for 4 adults and our five grandkids, the game extra's came in handy. Only down fall no pool access.

I would rent this cabin again if I were to come back to the area. It is very roomy. We had a family of 8 stay in it and there was plenty of room. Everyone had their own space which was great!

Wonderful view. It would have been nice to have some more comfortable chairs on the balconies to enjoy the views and blinds on the door directly across from the master bedroom for privacy.

Overall this cabin was nice. The view was spectacular and the house was very clean. There were some nails up on the stairs that created some problems but nothing a hammer can't fix. We have already decided that we will definitely stay here again.
