      We have stayed in dozens of cabins. Overall angel's Choice was very nice. The loft was the best part. Bed very comfortable, games fun. The air hockey table had a broken piece so it made it hard to play. The kitchen pans were not good quality; cooking in the cabin wasn't as easy as some other cabins. Love the location, but neighborhood and the proimity to Dollywood, yet off the busy path of the parkway.

      The area behind the cabins was full of litter. Seems like animals may have gotten into the garbage (despite cages), and there were cartons and other trash throughout the area. Was there on arrival and still there when we left six days later.

      The hot tub is great and overall we enjoyed our stay here.

      Our house was easy to get to , although the road leading to it was rather steep . It was thoughtfully furnished , comfortable and clean . It was only a few miles and an easy drive to the main road , and restaurants and shopping . My only concern would be that , because the house is on a ridge , falling off either of the two back porches ... could be a problem for irresponsible adults or unsupervised children or pets .

      Wish we could get these rental prices during the summer and Christmas seasons !

      Beautiful Mountain Escape

      The cabin was in excellent condition and provided everything our family of four needed for a wonderful week. The two decks (one with hot tub) were beautiful. The pool and air hockey tables were a very nice touch. It's far enough from the tourist activity to seem like a remote cabin, but it's within minutes of Dollywood and the other local attractions. The maintenance staff was quick to help with any minor issues we had and the check-in staff was very helpful with our late checkin.

      While I enjoyed the cabin and would choose it again I do have a suggestion. We enjoyed the layout of the cabin and wanted to choose the upstairs bedroom but the Cabot tv did not work up there. Also after putting money in the pacman game we discovered it did not work as well. The. Ingest suggestions I have for the rental is better linens inthe units. For the amount of money spent the quality was nor great.
      To add...this was also,written the guest book by other renters.
      Overall nice cabin.

      Angel's choice is by far the best cabin thus far we have stayed in. It was beautiful, the beds were amazingly comfortable, the location is within minutes of everything. The cabin was well equipped for family with kids or relaxing by the beautiful fireplaces. Enjoyed the hot tub and jacuzzi. Worked puzzles by the fireplace at night.. just wonderful memories. I didn't want to leave to even go out to eat. Going back to same cabin in Jan 2013 can't think of a better way to start off the new Year. :)

      the cabin was nice, the perks for Dollywood were good, the first night the a/c didn't work, and one of the tv's didn't work. A/c fixed next day, tv never fixed. it was a nice cabin.

      Beautiful cabin, ok view, very nice development

      We have stayed many times in Hidden Springs Resort which is located right up the road from this Star Crest Resort. The resort is very well maintained, cabin was exceptionally clean, check in was very easy. The cabin is amazing, especially the upper room and master bath. Loved all the glass but wish their wasn't as many trees so the view would be better. Loved the swing and rockers. There was a hammock base we would have loved to use but there was no hammock sling to actually place in there. There are actually 2 king sized beds in this home and even though it is listed as a 1 bedroom is is actually 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The location is very close to Dollywood, Splash Mountain and the main strip in Pigeon Forge which we liked. The downside I would say is definitely to have more of a view. If the view doesn't matter to you, then the cabin is phenominal. Some things that weren't working in the cabin (which wasn't a huge issue to us and didn't bother reporting it) was the multi-arcade game didn't work. We cut it on and it said "free play" but we couldn't get it to play. As owners of an amusement company we were excited to get to play this but again, wouldn't work. Also, there is a computer there but we couldn't get the internet to come up. As far as the resort, they seriously need to consider getting the metal, locking trash cans. The other resort we stayed at has these and a majority of the cabins here simply had plastic ones which are very bear friendly. So, I went out to the car one night to grab something to end up encountering a huge black bear that stood 30-40 feet from me. He was standing at the back of the vehicle at the cabin beside us. I also met some other people that a bear had got into their trash the night before so we made sure to hold our trash inside until the end. The resort should also give out some literature upon check in warning people of bears. Again, the other resort we stay at gives literature and has it posted on all the refrigerators.

      Overall, we had a wonderful experience and I would and will rent again from Dollywood cabins. However there were a few things that could have been improved. First of all the business center was not good. I really needed to do some work on the computer but it was slow, outdated and impossible to work with. They did come twice and try to fix it, but I still couldn't work with it due to the outdated operating system. I finally just gave up and didn't call anymore. There were some minor things that really needed fixing but I understand these things happen. Next time I will bring a laptop with me. Wish I didn't have to work on vacation, but it happens.

      The cabin was very nice and convenient to everything. the older grandchildren loved the second floor with the games. My issues were that the downstairs bathroom had something similar to an ant bed in the near the outside wall. We notified the office and they indicated that they would check it out but no one ever showed up. The floors were also cleaned with something that left a black residue on them. We were traveling with our one year old grandson and when he crawled on the floor his knees and socks were black. This caused an issue not being able to let him on the floors. We also notified the front office and they said they were considering changing the way they were cleaning the floors.

      Relaxing stay in the mountains

      The cabin is beautiful and we really liked the location. Close to Dollywood/Splash Country and convenient to good restaraunts and shopping. Great view of the mountains from the porches. Lots of fun things to do at the cabin for kids of all ages including the adults! Had everything we needed stocked in the cabin, plenty of towels.
      Had a little difficulty figuring out how to work the shower in the downstairs tub. There was a frame for a hammock on the porch, but the hammock was not on it.
      Overall had a wonderful experience. Will recommend Dollywood cabins to friends and family. And will use them again in the future.

      The service was excellent, friendly made you feel at home.
      I loved the luxury of the hot tub, whirlpool as well as the game room.
      The location was great enjoyed the view wish we had stayed longer.
      It was my 60th birthday and came with my sister and grandson; we all enjoyed it and wish we were back.
