1. When we checked in I asked the checkin person if it was a good view. She said yes. When we went to the cabin there were 2 cabins within 50 feet and 3 more within 100 feet. Our view was a 1,000 foot view between 2 cabins. Disappointed. Paid all that money and had bad views.
2. The cabin was in bad shape. The hot tub ran over when we were in it. dripping onto the deck below. The bathroom downstairs was so small we could hardly turn around. It had a very used look about it.
3. The stairs to the upstairs was way so unsafe.
4. We would not recommend this place to any of our friends.
5. Nice blanket on the table. Didn't say if we could have it or if it was for use there. Never heard of taking the sheets off the bed before leaving. This is a very low class of vacation destination.

The cabin advertised a pool table and air hockey table. The air hockey table did not work and the pool table had torn pockets. There was a huge crack in one of the windows. The faucets on the tub leaked and water was dripping into the first floor after I took a shower. There were clothes from the previous renter still in the dresser. The location was nice and the hot tub did work well but overall I expected better.
Great stay at Serene Peak...loved the view!

We (my husband and 8 year old daughter)stayed in Serene Peak for 2 nights. We loved the cabin! It was very clean, had a great mountain view, nice downstairs layout, double decks (upstairs hot tub and downstairs rockers/swing! My daughter liked the upstairs loft area because of the pool table & whirlpool tub and just having her own space (air hockey table didn't work). However, there was no privacy for the bathroom because it had a huge window cut out. That is not good, especially if you have another couple there. If someone walked upstairs, they would see the person in the tub, on the toliet or in the shower. Dollywood cabins needs to consider putting a shutter closure or some sort on the large opening. We were without water on our last night for several hours, but the maintenance guy came by and offered to move us to another cabin or let us shower and get water from a nearby cabin. It was an inconvenience either way but it was nice to offer. It came back on "sometime" after we went to bed (12 am). Couldn't use the great hot that last night because of it as we could not shower off the chlorine (bummer). The Dollywood Mgmt agreed to give us 20% off our next stay (haven't received that letter yet by the way) so we were somewhat okay with that compensation.
Would love to see them upgrade the grill area outside and make it a little more appealing like surrounding cabins (different owners perhaps) and a new downstairs sofa. Because it is a queen pull-out,the cushions kept sliding off for some reason. All in all, we had a blast at the cabin and would stay here again...Dollywood park was awesome and thanks for the free parking pass and speciality parking!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in our Dollywood cabin. The cabin was spacious, very clean, well stocked with amenities and immediately felt like a home away from home. The view of the mountains was incredible, the hot tub - delightful.
Nice but little privacy

We really enjoyed the stay at serene peak but the upstairs bathroom needs a curtain (or something) to add a little privacy if you want it. Could not sit outside in the swing since the hot tub would have water flowing out on it.

Our stay was like a breath of fresh air. The cabin was so clean and absolutely gorgous. We was very impressed on how everything that we needed was already there. The only slight complaint was that it was non smoking but that was not a big deal. We will definitaley come back. Everyone was so nice and friendly. All our questions were answered. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Thanks to everyone.

We had an awesome time as we always do with Dollywood cabins.

Really enjoyed the stay. Didn't care for driving miles away to get to the pool, but enjoyed ourselves. Also the master bedroom had some kinda bugs that mostly stayed to themselves, kinda looked like ants, and someone every night would randomly pop fire works late at night. But over all the cabin was very nice just about everything we needed was there, and we plan on returning next year or the following. Especially if we get a deal ( hint hint).
Thank you from the Chifici family

Great place to stay. Have two small concerns, when steps were repaired and one step had a new board placed on top of an old board which made it a tripping hazard. Also counld use a curtain for the upstairs bath room where the tub is. Check-in service was super.

Dollywood Serene Peak - caution on amentities

We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was nice, however some things in the cabin could have been better. The air hockey game was missing the power cord for the scoreboard so the scoring pockets wouldn't open up, the pockets on the pool table were loose so balls fell out of them and rolled across the floor, the sofa sleepers were pretty poor and the one we used had several springs off when we opened it up to use for the first time. We reported the air hockey cord within the first hour and it was not resolved and no one really seemed to care for the duration of our 4 night stay. I had 9 and 11 year olds and it would have been nice to have this working. Also, there was an indoor pool advertised on the site and no one tells you it is several miles from your cabin, not just down the mountain.
We will definitely be back!!!

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at 2 separate cabins while visiting Dolly Wood. (Cozy Cabin & Serene Peak). Each cabin was beautiful in it's own right, as well as, they allow some extras while attending the park.(complimentary parking). We loved the area and thoroughly enjoyed the park. The Smokey mountains & views were heavenly. Most all of the people we came across in this area were just delightful to deal with.
Ok, but about average

The week at the cabin seemed fraught with problems. First, no bed linens for the pull-out couches. Then, wasps that seemed to keep coming back, which made enjoying the outside areas not possible. Finally, the dishwasher leaked and had to be replaced. On the plus side, every time we called with an issue, it was addressed promtly and fixed (once all the wasp nests were found). It would have been a very nice week otherwise.
One other issue was stating a second bath was a bit of a misnomer. The bath on the second floor is not private (large viewing hole in one wall for the jacuzzi tub, with no way to cover it). It's not what we were expecting.
Breathtaking view, great location, in need of minor repairs

The cabin was easy to find (with the help of directions given at check-in). The neighbors are far enough away to give a feeling of privacy, but the cabin is located within minutes of entertainment/dining. Parking was ample.
We had a great view of the mountains. The cabin was clean and we had plenty of linens.
That being said, we also had a dishwasher that leaked large puddles, a faucted that leaked, a small hole in our shower, a broken computer chair, the internet did not work, and a bath tile was broken into several pieces. Customer service said they'd attempt to fix any problems, but would not offer a discount because of the inconvenience. None of the problems were fixed during our time there.
Also, we did not anticipate bears in our garbage. Rocks and coffee cans filled with cement lay next to the garbage can. After having our garbage ripped to shreds, we attempted to secure it the next night. The cement/rock were tossed aside and the garbage bin was broke the next morning. Customer service would only state that they have "squirrels, and other larger critters."
We also didn't like that the upstairs bathroom is not private. You can see from the toilet to the rest of the living area, straight out the window, with no shade or blind available to be pulled.
Overall, we enjoyed the area and the view, and would go back, but would probably pick a different cabin. For the money we paid, we were a little disappointed that it was less than perfect. Read more
Thank you so much for choosing Dollywood Vacations for your recent trip. I apologize for the minor inconveniences that you experienced during your visit. Rental homes are like any home and things can break unexpectantly and there is normal wear and tear that is to be expected. We do our best to work with the cabin owners to ensure that these itmes are repaired or replaced as soon as possible. The owner of the cabin has replaced the dishwasher is is addressing the other items. During the summer months we do occasionally have bears that get into the garbage at night in search of food. It is best to put the trash out in the morning so that our crews can pick it up during the day. We hope that the you will visit us again soon.
very pleasantly relaxing
