Our stay at Villa Italia was Great! The kitchen was nice and had
Everything you could possibly need. Beautiful mountain view throughout the
Cabin. Kids loved the game room! Location was great nice quiet neighborhood.
Definitely will stay in this cabin again! Thanks Dollywood Cabins! Office staff
were very helpful and friendly!
Cons: Ample hot water as long as you don't use the jacuzzi.
Several had to wait to take baths due to limited hot water.
Stove smoked on initial use due to grease residue.

The staff at check in were very polite and helpful. We loved loved loved the cabin. It was very luxurious and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were like heaven so very soft that I don't even remember my head hitting my pillow. The view of the mountains were breathtaking especially while having my first cup of coffee in the morning out on the deck. The only draw back that I noticed about the cabin is that there is only a spiral staircase wide enough for one person that takes you from the first floor to the 3rd and if you are trying to get 12 people ready at one time it can get a little congested, the staircase also made me a little nervous with my 3 year old.

It was a great time. But the stair case was not a good idea for small kids. The floors were dirty. Our bare feet were black after walking around on the hardwood floors. The kitchen was very basic. There weren't any hot pads or a Wisk. The coffee pot was very slow. Several blinds where broke or missing. One of the king size beds was very noisy when you moved. Did make it a little difficult to sleep. Their was trash still in the trash can when we arrived. We had to take it out as soon as we arrived and the trash was never picked up the entirety of our stay. The hot tub on the top deck also had a crack in it and leaked when it was turned on. It soaked the rug on the deck below. We did enjoy the porch swing and the beautiful mountain view. The pictures of the pool are very deceiving. It is not much larger than the average hot tub. I'm not sure all of us could have even fit in the pool. Overall, we did enjoy the family time. We cooked many meals in the cabin.

From check in to check out things went smoothly. The cabin was clean and the supplies came in handy. From the "million dollar" view to the visiting raccroon our family enjoyed our stay. The kids want to come back!

Our experience with Villa Italia was wonderful. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful. Our cabin was beautiful and fully stocked with the necessary amentities. What we liked best was the view and the fact that every floor had a porch as well as the proximity to Dollywood. What we liked least was that the website was unclear as to where the bedrooms were placed on each floor. Upon check-in, we realized that our kids would need to be on separate floors from us which was not something we would have rented had we known in advance. In addition, the floors of the cabin were not clean and left our kids feet and knees black. All that being said, we will return to a Dollywood cabin in the future.

My family have been vacationing in the Smokey Mountains for over 40 years and we have always stayed in a condo, but this year we decided to stay in a cabin. We booked this trip in July for the dates of October 23-28. When we arrived at the cabin we found out that the cable company was switching from analog to digital and that we would not have TV. One of the bedrooms was missing a blind and it took so we told the rental office only to be told that that is something that they did not stock and we may have to purchase one. I didn't think that was going to happen. In the meantime we had to put a blanket over the window so no one could see in. 2 days later the blind was installed which was too short to cover the window. It took 3 days to finally get TV in all the rooms. The TV issue is not directly the cabin rentals fault. Most of the fault with this lies with comcast, but the rental place had from July to October to know that we were coming and I believe that it was their responsibility to make sure that everything was in working order. I know that not having TV is a trivial thing, but as a paying customer I expect to get what I am paying for and that includes TV. If the cabin had been advertised as not having TV, then this would not have been a problem. The location of the cabin, however was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying in a cabin over a condo, but just not a Dollywood cabin. It looks like to me that when someone checks out the cabin, then a walk through should be done before the next guest arrives. If this had happened, then things like the missing blind would have been caught. There were other small things like doors that wouldn't lock and door knobs that were so loose that they were about to fall off. I know that these things seems trivial, but if a person is going to rent out a cabin, then they should make sure that it is kept up. I hate to be so negative, but the survey wanted an honest opinion. Once all was fixed it was great.

I decided to take my family to the mountains after we found out my father-n-law had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. He told us that he had never been to the mountains and he would like to see them. I then called around and was able to get a pretty good deal on a cabin that would fit us all. When we arrived the view alone was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was wonderful. My mother-n-law had tears rolling down her face after she saw how excited her husband was to be there. Thank you so much for this wonderful memory we will always have.
The cabins are in a great location that is convenient to Pigeon Forge. We had a wonderful time. A few minor issues with the cleanliness of the cabin, however, nothing that would deter us from having a great visit to the Smokies.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin was great, with a beautiful view. The service we received at the parks was beyond expectation. The whole package was worht every penny we spent. I did stop by the office on Sunday morning to leave a list of small things that were broken when we got there (nothing important), but no one was in yet. These were very minor such as the iron water reservoir was cracked and did not hold water, the main floor TV remote was missing the back, two window shades were missing, etc. Nothing major or that we felt was necessary while we were there.
I would recommend the Dollywood Vacation Package to anyone.

We had a great time. There were ten of us that was visiting the cabin we had. It was spacious had all the feelings of home. the only bad experience was the spiral staircase was on the steep and narrow side. We really enjoy coming to Dollywood and watching shows and doing the rides.
