A Real Memory Maker! Our group had a wonderful time at the all Starr Lodge this year and will plan on another next year! Had a couple slight snags during the stay but one call to the rental office and things were back to normal within a couple hours all while we were off enjoying the area. For the cost, Dollywood cabins are 100% better than others we have tried in the area. Please watch out for "Affordable Cabins in the Smokies". They have some shaddy business practices. Dollywood will ensure your stay is a memorable one...thanks Dolly!

As always the Dollywood cabin service from Initial reservation through checkout was great. I love the company as a whole. The cabin was very nice, spacious, and loved the layout. We have stayed at cabins with this same layout before and loved it. The biggest problem I had with the cabin was the amount of broken items. The swing on the lower back porch was broken, both pool ques were broken, the refrigerator down stairs was not working correctly, and the elevator was kind of annoying because it would randomly stop between floors, or not return, We found the problem but had to overide a safety mechanism to get to work. If someone would look at the cabin and spend some money making repairs this cabin would easily be a 5 star stay. This being said, i loved the cabin. I loved our stay. Thank you so much.

Pigeon Forge is a central location for my family. Seven hours from D.C., seven hours from Richmond, Va and seven hours from New albany, ms. The cabin was perfect. We were able to arrive Wednesday and have everything we needed to cook the traditional Thanksgiving meal. The beds are nice, the space is remarkable and the view spectacular. Only one note-there are two ways two ways to get the lower level with the bunk bedroom and t.v. game room...outside in the weather or down the elevator. It took us three of our four days to learn how to hold our mouth just right for it to work properly. Even with that frustration, I would love to have an opportunity to visit the all-Starr cabin in the future.

Elevator needs some repair; when you exit on the first floor and close the gate and the door, the little switch on top doesn't drop therefore, someone in the basement can not call the elevator and then has to take the outside staircase.
The cabin overall is nice--several beds to accomodate a large party. The basement itself sleeps 8 people in the bedroom, which is awesome, but there is only one shower for all of those people downstairs :(.
If you go and plan to cook, bring your own cookware. The cabin has a frying pan and a pot, but everything sticks in them!
The cabin sleeps 16, but their is only space for 8 people to sit to eat in the kitchen; main room on the main floor is a bit small for the number of people that potentially could be in the cabin at one time.

The cabin itself was beautiful. That being said, the cabin was not clean and the bedding was cheap. I expected the bedding to be very nice considering the amount of money we were paying. One of the king size beds was also broke at the head and so I slept at the foot of the bed. There were bread crumbs on the counter and the kitchen floor was not mopped. The views are beautiful and it would have been nice to sit out on the balcony and enjoy nature. But our neighbors were loud and partying. I was woken up by someone crying and though it was one of our kids. After checking on the kids, I stepped out to one of the balconys to find a young girl from the party sobbing on the phone right in our yard. The cabins are too close. We had a nice vacation, the customer service in Tennessee is exceptional, and the only complaint is the lack of cleanliness of our cabin and the crappy bedding for the price we were paying. Upon looking up other cabin rentals for the same size cabin when I returned home, I'd go with the USa Cabins. The $ you would save in the rental makes up for the Dollywood ticket prices and you would still have money left. We also weren't told that one of the days we were there, the park would be closed which was the whole reason we came on this vacation.

Not a cabin for small children! The cabin had plentiful beds for a families if the children were old enough to climb up on to the bunks. The downfall of the cabin was the only access to downstairs (where a bedroom with 2 sets of bunks are located) from inside the cabin was a elevator which didn't work right most of the time. There was a stairway on the outside going down to the outside door. If the door was locked you couldn't get in and if the elevator didn't work you couldn't get down there. If the children were downstairs you had to go outside to get to them if the elevator door wasn't shut properly from upstairs or downstairs. The furniture downstairs was broken down and worn so bad you couldn't set on them. The extra blankets, pillows were dirty and smelled bad. The bed spreads were worn.
I was told there was a elevator but wasn't told that was the only means from inside to get downstairs. A spiral stairway went to a open loft bedroom. I am really surprise that Dollywood offered this cabin under their name.

Had an enjoyable stay. The cabin was comfortable with great views. We were disappointed there was no fire pit. The office were very helpful. You need to remove photo of the fire pit. We were planning on roasting hot dogs and making smores. We had a great time overall.
Our family vacation to Pigeon Forge was wonderful! The cabin we stayed in was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The view from the cabin was something only God could make -- it was spectacular! We had a visit one morning from a black bear -- he just wandered up into the back yard, but didn't bother us at all. After all, we had invaded his home! We will definitely stay at Dollywood Cabins again. The one and only negative thing was the very narrow road leading to the cabin. There are several places along the winding road where you cannot see if another car is coming and if you meet one, there is nowhere to go! Maybe some mirrors placed along the route would help.

My whole family enjoyed our stay immensely! After last year and the cabin I rented from "cabinsByOwner.com", this was 1000% more superior and for an excellent price. Matter of fact, we have rented the cabin for the same Christmas week already in the December 2013 time frame. We had a few minor problems but none that were of real concern. It would have been nice to have curtains over the windows that show toward the mountains. Even though it is the view you rent, the sun comes up early and shines brightly through the windows. Everyone was up at sunrise. The other thing was it would have been nice to have a few decorations for the holiday season. Lights or a wreath would have been nice or something religious inside the cabin since it was Jesus' birthday. The cabin was indeed a Christian owned and we enjoyed the bibles in every room! Excellent stay and we look forward to staying in this cabin come every Christmas our family can get together. It will be rented by the Greutman family from now on! Read more

The only thing I would change is,I would put another code lock on the downstairs door. This would allow you to avoid the use of the elevator if you so choose. Otherwise the facility was perfect for our group of 16! Plenty of space and things to keep us entertained!

The all star lodge is a beautiful cabin. There were ten of us staying here and we were all very comfortable. The view was awesome. The kids loved the air hockey and pool table.
My husband, however, was disappointed that there was no satellite tv. He was really looking forward to watching certain football games over the weekend but couldn't due to cable restrictions. Also the coffee pot was broken but I'm sure if we had called the office they would have brought us another, we were just so busy. Over all the whole trip was excellent and staying in the cabin just made it even better!

The all Starr Lodge was a perfect fit for our sorority reunion... We are mature women now. The lodge has fantastic views from each room, an elevator, 2 fabulous jetted tubs, comfortable beds, a rec room, & everything you need to stay there. The only negative is that you must be careful going up the winding narrow road. We enjoyed Dollywood & the Dixie Stampede on another night.
It was a little over an hour from the airport.

all starr lodge was very comfortable, clean, and had an awesome view of the mountains and valleys. However the homeowner should find a better system for the garbage. We picked up garbage every morning because it was a easy access for the animals. Also, since you do not receive a key, if you lock the outside door on the lower level, and the elevator will not "call" to the upper floor, your locked out! I would definitely change these two items
Great cabin for vacationing with family and friends!

The cabin we stayed at was very nice! The view of the mountain is beautiful. It is located at the edge of Pigeon Forge and is just a couple of minutes from either Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. There is a hot tub on the deck which was great to relax in. The beds slept really good. Our only complaint was the desk clerk at check-in who was rude when we asked a question about towels.
The home was quite dirty, dishes in the cabinets were greasy, all had to be washed before we used. The comforters had a bad smell to them and there were scorpions, flies and spiders in the house. The sheets would not stay on the bed. The house had a weird layout, you could only get to the lower level via an elevator or exterior stairs,so we worried the small children would accidentally lock us out. The location was beautiful, but for 3000.00 for the week,it felt a little run down. We did enjoy the perks of staying on the Dollywood property, like free parking, week long park pass and preferred parking in lot B. The staff at the Dollywood Cabins office were wonderful, helpful and always very friendly. I think we just got a bad cabin.
Everything was perfect just like I had been told it was!!
