      This was our second year to stay in one of Dollywood cabins. Whispering Woods is the perfect cabin if you are looking for peace and quiet. There are no neighbors next to you and cabin is very private. It was exactly what I needed this year. The beds were the most comfortable that I have slept in.

      Nice view of Smokies

      The cabin and its amenities were similar to others I have rented in Star Crest Resort. However, This cabin was not quite up to the same high standards as the others we have rented. Visible dog damage, non-operating sink in master bath, very loud motor on hot tub, worn living room furniture, and non-working sound system were a few of the negative things we noted. We don't expect these kinds of things while paying more than we could with other cabins. We selected this cabin because it was more secluded than most, but the sounds of barking dogs from an off-property location kept us awake most of one night during our stay. After this rental, we have decided to try a rental at another cabin in Star Crest through a different agency.

      This was our second trip to Dollywood cabins -- we couldn't believe how many new cabins have been built since our last trip. This was somewhat disappointing -- there are too many in our opinion. Whispering Woods has a great view but there is a home right next door that does not show in the photos online. The cabin is very nice but none of the speakers worked, the stereo system did not work and we had to get help with the tv. These things need to be updated and repaired. All in all, we had a very nice time and enjoyed the fabulous view.

      We stayed in this very same cabin in 2010 and unfortunately the pets that have been permitted in this cabin have degraded its appeal. We arrived this year to the cabin to find pet hair all over the floor in the loft. Also, a pet that was locked in the downstairs bathroom had scratched and chewed the floor boards and trim. We have children and one of the appeals was the air hockey and arcade game - neither worked. The reason I rate this cabin as very good is that the view and location are amazing. The staff was prompt on sending a cleaning crew to remove the pet hair and sent a repair team to service the games.
      The view is amazing and the staff is great - it's just very sad to see the condition of the cabin after 3 years. It needs some touch ups.

      So worth it!

      House was great. Had problems with the Hammock, missing DVD player and batteries for the air-hockey table, but the customer service to correct these things was timely and the maintenance person they sent went above and beyond. We were very impressed. The gentleman that checked us in the 1st day also made our trip even more enjoyable with the time he took to make recommendations on resturants. He is a true treasure to the Dollywood Organization.

      Our Stay was a quiet relaxing time in a peaceful place...

      We chose the facility we did because it had the "Dollywood" branding. Ms. Parton has always made sure that everything is more than what is advertised. And most certainly it was very clean and neat both inside and out. The unit was exactly as described and the amenities provided were fully adequate and of very good quality. The views from the unit were indeed very inspiring and for someone who has not been in the area before they will find them most breathtaking.

      The staff at the Dollywood Vacation office was very polite and everyone was always up to date and knew the unit we rented very thoroughly. The maintenance staff was totally courteous, knew their tasks and above all were neat and well mannered. They were prompt in their service and made a person feel most welcome.
      You get what you pay for...we were totally pleased and would come to the same facility and the same unit again for a respite.

      Wonderful trip

      This was our second stay in Whispering Woods. The cabin is gorgeous. Beds are very comfortable. The view is out of this world!!! We couldn't get in on the first day due to an ice storm. However, Dollywood Vacations put us in another cabin till ours was ready and moved us as soon as it was available.

      This is the perfect hideaway cabin for a romantic trip. After looking at many cabins we chose this one because in the picture it appeared to be the most secluded. Once we arrived we were even told it was the most secluded one they had and after driving around it definitely is. The lost bedroom lets you start your day with some of the most breathtaking views. You can even see the mountains in the distance from your bed. The hot tub on the deck was perfect for quiet relaxation in the evenings, as was the hammock on the lower deck. If it was too cold outside then the jacuzzi tub inside was also great. The beds were super comfortable and also were good quality. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, from floor to ceiling, literally. The wood work is fantastic. The only reason I didn't give it a complete 5 star rating (I would actually have given it 4 1/2 but you can't do 1/2 stars i guess) is because the kitchen was stocked as well as it should have been and the surround sound upstairs didn't work. We were able to use the surround sound from downstairs with the upstairs equipment so that wasn't a real big deal. The problem with the kitchen was that there wasn't enough of an option of cookware. There were no baking dishes/pans at all and we were there for a full week so we did cook and there were only cookie sheets for baking, corkscrew was broken, only 2 pots. We were able to manage so it wasn't a huge big deal but it could pose a bit of a problem. The only other thing that I would like to have had different maybe would be to put the outdoor hot tub on the lower deck or the jacuzzi tub in the downstairs bathroom because the master bedroom is downstairs but both the hot tub and jacuzzi are upstairs. Since we were alone we slept in the loft room but if someone else had been with us we would have had no privacy since there aren't doors on the loft & we would have wanted the hot tub. Highly recommend this cabin. You won't be disappointed!

      When we got to Whispering Woods we just gasped and took a fresh breath of mountain air. The cabin is class act for a rental...I had a poor opinion of the actual construction quality...but besides that...it was very nice. The only downside that I feel obligated to mention is...hockey game broken...had to put new batteries in remotes...and for what it cost the TVs could be more updated.

      Dollywood Vacations are the friendliest group of people we've dealt with. This is our 4th year with Dollywood Vacations. The cabin was very roomy, loved the first floor bathroom with the 2 sinks. It could've used a little more dusting (the fan blades, arcade game, coffee table), but no biggie. The location was one of the best we've had as far as secluded. Beautiful view of the mountains & woods. The arcade game was a little complicated cause you had to put the quarter in & grab it back out after the games. All in all this was a great cabin!

      I would like to say that this cabin was wonderfully had great amenities and was clean and modernized I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone .There was not really anything we did Not like if I had to say which was. It a bother would be the the pool I guess

      We really enjoyed our time here and did not want to leave. The best part of this cabin was in such a crowded area when you reached the cabin you felt alone in the mountains. We did not have neighbors right next to us. The game tables have been used a lot and were not in tip top shape but they we playable and my boys (11,14) loved them. This will be the cabin we choose again!!!

      Amazing Cabin!

      The cabin was everything we expected it to be. We really enjoyed our week there. The kid's loved the loft and all the games there was to play. The hot tub was a great way to end the day after walking around dollywood all day. This cabin had the most privacy out of all of them. The only thing that would make the place better would be to leave instructions on how to use the surrond sound and the speakers out on the deck. We would love to go back, we had a great time!

      This was the best vacation experience. We traveled with my best friend and her family (who highly suggested we come) We enjoyed everything from the telephone reservationist, office staff, location and style of cabin, theme park, water park and beautiful weather. We will be back

      We loved the hot tub overlooking the mountains! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. It also had an awesome game room and very comfortable beds. We loved sitting on the decks looking out over the valley!
