We rented the cabin with 23 of us, 8 were children. Adults had the 8 bedrooms and the kids slept on the pull out sofas. The cabin was really nice. There were quite a few things broken but we called the office and they were taken care of. Given the 4 hr turnaround, unless people tell the owners about these thingd, they can't fix them. They were small things like lights burned out or broken, wheels missing on dishwasher rack.
The view from the porches, and 3 hot tubs are amazing. It was spectacular. There is no inside staircase, so once doors are locked you have to use the elevator and the elevator was slow. That was a bit challenging with so many kids at night. All the kids slept on 1 in the movie room. The eldest Was 15, so as everyone was readying for bed the elevator was busy.
The refrigerator is small for the number of people, but there were also rrefrigerators on each floor so you had to strategically place things elseware.
The pool is small and uninteresting, but does the job.
It's a great place for a large family reunion. The kids loved the game toom, foosball, sir hockey, pool, video games. There was a ton to do and tv's on every floor.
The only en suites were on the 4th floor but all rooms were nice and had king beds.

We were not happy with the cleanliness of the rugs in the rooms, they were very stained. The bed sheets and the bathrooms were not very clean.
The Elevator in the cabin stopped working and we reported the problem, they sent a mechanic who didn't fix the problem. We had to use the outside stairs with small children in the middle of the cold weather. The main office promised to fix the problem or reimburse us with an inconvenience discount and a phone call and neither one happened. We were three days with no elevator.
We have used Dollywood Cabins before, but after this experience we won't even recommend it anymore like before.

This cabin truly has it all. The rooms were opulent with all the comforts. Our family and guests were amazed at the beauty of not only the cabin but the spectacular views. Now we all understand the name Great Smokey Mountains.

The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. However,, we had booked our cabin over a year ago, but were not able to come on that date last year due to a death in our family. Dollywood Cabins were good about allowing us to wait a year to use the cabin, but they neglected to tell us that the free passes to Dollywood parks were no longer being offered the next season. This added up to quite an unexpected expenese for a large group of people. I just wish they had informed us of this change before we had gotten there.
Otherwise, the cabin was very accomidating, comfortable and clean! The view from the fourth floor was amazing and the beds were extremely comfortable. The road leading up to the cabin was easy to drive and very passable with oncoming traffic.
One of the outside doors would stick on the forth floor, making it hard to use that door and there was no lock or screen on one of the third floor windows, making it easy for an unwelcomed stranger to just climb in at anytime. The fourth floor was without airconditioning the first night, but that was fixed by the second night.
Overall, the cabin was beautiful and the location was great. I just think that the maintenance needs to be kept up better.
Alot of room for the money...

The place was beautiful and big enough for my family of (19). The decks had great views of the smoky Mtns, the amazing sunsets and the fireworks show at night. The location was a couple minutes from Dollywood parks and shopping. We all had a wonderful time. Now for the bad parts: the Jacuzzi on the bottom floor was cold did not get hot, plus the Jacuzzi on the floor above leaked on your head. The popcorn machine did not work in the movie room, even after they came and put a new plug. The toaster looked as it was in a fight, some of the wood blinds were broken and some of the games, in the game room were broken or did not work right. Also as Coolas it was having an elevator, stair inside the house Wouldve been a great idea as the elevator Woulld get stuck several times a day. I would contribute this to the large amount of people staying here every week, but they (Dollywood) should try to keep up with the up keep for the price they charge.
our family reunion was fantanstic.

A lady named Marie, at the office, helped us in any way we needed help. The cabin was clean and so beautiful. It has everything a large group would need. None of us had been to the Smoky Mountain area before and we really liked it a lot. Except for the terrible traffic jams! My wish is that the cabin would have one handicapped bathroom. Grab bars by the stool and the shower would be helpful, plus a higher stool.

Everything and everyone was so nice! The views were breathtaking, the cabin was beautiful, the rooms were big, the kitchen was massive, 3 hot tubs was nice, the game room and the movie theater was a huge hit!!! The staff was very accomodating and helpful.
I would recommend getting a muffin tin and cake pan for the kitchen, maybe karaoke machine, cards and games for the gameroom.
Also, the only negative thing from the cabin, was no steps inside the cabin. Several of my kids were scared of the elevator and inside steps would be nice. Even if it were a spiral staircase.
Great place for our Youth Retreat!

Kids loved this place and really served us well. Only down side is not having an inside staircase.

The rental office was great to work with. The house was in good condition, the furnishings were nice. We were disappointed to find that there were no internal stairs, only the elevator and stairs outside. It did not state that on the website. This was not a good design for our young grandchildren. The only entry was on the second floor, because we did not have keys to the other floors and we requested them.
Also, on the main floor where the kitchen and dining room are there is no seating except for the dining room chairs.

It was a reunion of 6 daughters and their families on what would have been their Mother's 100th BD. 8 families stayed in the cabin and all bragged on cabin. Don't think we could have wished for anything more. Had a catered reunion dinner for 48 people at his beautiful site.

The cabin was beautiful and the rooms were spacious. The views from the cabin were gorgeous. The cabin is situated in very close proximity to the Pigeon Forge attractions. However, the cabin was not clean. There were pills (medication) left under the bed. At least one toilet had not been cleaned. The floors in the kitchen were not clean. The water dispenser in the main kitchen's refrigerator was not operative. The gaming equipment on the 3rd floor was in poor condition. One of the spas did not work. There were cobwebs everywhere. There was a dead bat on the third floor. We all spent the first hour or so of our stay cleaning. Also, there is no internal staircase connecting the floors. Everyone had to rely on the one elevator or use the external staircases - which might not be fun in the dead of winter. Other than that, it was great. Read more
Thank you for staying with us this summer. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay in our area. I apologize that the housekeeping team missed the mark on a few items. Had you reported these items when you discovered them we would have been happy to send our housekeeping supervisor to your cabin to correct the problem. We hope that you will stay with us again soon.

The home really did have it all! All except a griddle but we made do for pancakes and quesidillas with the fry pans. It took awhile to figure out the elevator-that the inside door had to be closed to get it to come to the needed floor. Maybe a note could be put near it or was that just our family being slow to figure it out? The ages in our family ranged from 1 yr. to 72 and the home accomodated everyone! Beds were great.

Overall, our group enjoyed our experience in the cabin. The views were great, the beds were comfortable, the cabin was well-equipped for all our needs. My only complaint is that we couldn't get one of the hot tubs to heat up..even after calling maintenence(who said it was fixed). Otherwise, whoever owns this cabin did not skimp on the furnishings. It was a nice experience.
