We really enjoyed our stay at this home. The home is very lovely and tastefully decorated. It did appear that some pictures/Flatscreen TV had been removed from the walls. This home has the nicest washer/dryer I've ever used. The bedding was very comfortable and felt like home. We have stayed in many cabins/houses on Douglas Lake and this cabin is on the prettiest cove we stayed on. There was a breeze that blew through the cove that made it relaxing to sit outside. I would highly recommend this rental house to anyone. I did have a few small recommendations that may make future stays for other guests more pleasant. Indoor floor mats at both doors would have been nice to wipe our feets off on when coming in from the lake or rain. This would prevent tracking throughout the house. Also, there was only 1 dish rag for us to use in the kitchen for the week. More would have been nice. Lastly, the house would be much more appealling with an interior fresh coat of paint. Overall, our experience was great! Thank you Jenna.

We stayed at the chalet in June with our younger children 7, 9, and 11. It was so nice to be on the lake and not have to drive to get on the boat. We just walked out the back door and hopped in. We had never visited Douglas Lake before and were not sure what to expect. We are avid boaters and have been to many lakes. Some lakes are full of people just wanting a party, but we did not see any of that here. The coves are very calm water and we were able to teach our younger 2 children to water-ski. The house was very nice but the roads getting there are curvy and narrow. The owner did tell us not to take our boat to the house, and thank goodness she did. She provided us very detailed directions to the marina and from the marina to the house. We enjoyed our vacation very much and look forward to visiting Douglas Lake again.
