Additional Location Information
Just minutes from the major sights and attractions, San Vicente is a mainly residential neighbourhood in the northwest part of the old centre, and an ideal base for exploring an authentic part part of the city notable for its many squares and historic churches, such as San Vicente - a fine example of gothic-mudejár architecture built during the 15th century – and the Basilica del Gran Poder, home to one of the most revered and famous images of Christ in the city. The procession of the "Cristo del Gran Poder" is a quintessential part of Holy Week in Seville.
San Vicente is bordered on the east by the Alameda de Hercules, with its many tapas bars and thriving nightlife, and on the west by the Guadalquivir River. The riverside is popular for walking, cycling and running. The "Plaza de Armas", formerly Seville's main railway station, is now a modern shopping centre, but still retains its 1901 neo-mudejar exterior and the steel architecture of its industrial origins.

Terrific location, great apartment
We stayed at alameda Terrace 5 days in late February and loved the place. The location is great, very untouristy, right next to the fabulous square alameda de Hercules surrounded by bars and with lots of people and hustle and bustle. The apartment was spacious, had a great terrace with plenty of sun even though it was cold for February in Spain. I forgot some clothes, and the agency kindly forwarded it to me in Denmark. All in all, a very satisfactory experience.

Good location, sunny terrace, and quiet, but interior could be i
There are many good aspects to this apartment. First, it is well located. The neighborhood is interesting and non-touristy, full of families, dog walkers, and excellent tapas bars, and it is just a 10-minute walk north of the center of Seville. Second, the terrace provides a good amount of privacy and receives sun all afternoon. Third, the apartment provides a calm atmosphere. The apartment receives no street noise, and although sound does travel within the building, the neighbors are generally low key and it is especially quiet during the night. The neighboring property is (in its own way pretty but) dilapidated, and if it is ever renovated the construction noise will be an issue. If we stayed here again we would first verify that nothing is in progress. The interior has some aspects that could be improved. We appreciated the reliable Internet connection, but for the price paid, we expected the apartment itself to be slightly better quality. The furnishings are Ikea and similar. The sofa has not worn well. The walls need a coat of paint, especially in the kitchen where there are several stains from oil splatters. The plants on the terrace are a nice idea, but several are in need of replacement. We also found a couple of inconveniences, namely that the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by frosted glass, which made it difficult to use during the night without disturbing the other person's sleep, and that the hot water tank provides only 6 - 7 minutes of warm water for the shower and takes about 20 minutes to reheat. Overall, despite some minor negatives we had a nice stay and thoroughly enjoyed the positives of what this place has to offer.
good appartment, great terrace
Nice, small appartment with a great terrace. Just outside the centre of town in a really nice neighborhood. Everything we wanted to see could be done by walking.
comfortable nice romantic stay
thank you, Janine, for quick communication, provided by you information regarding Sevilla was very helpful! It was wonderful stay for us with breakfast on terrase under soft morning Seville sun! Though there were repair works on the street near our Piedra appartment house, we didn't hear noise in the appartment and terrase. Location is nice with easy connections to the historical centre, by taxi from alcazar it takes about 5 eur, walking takes about 20 min. We recomend this appartment to our friends!
Great service, all exactly as described. Lovely apartment, the terrace is fantastic, has the sun from about 10am through til about 7pm, quiet and relaxing. Central location, some great bars nearby, everything you need within easy walking distance. Don't have a single negative thing to say, loved it and will definitely be going back.
